The lady at the front desk at St John told me I did not need to make an appointment. Walk ins are welcome. I was a little confused because I did not know where the entrance was for the St John lab. I had to call the number on google and ask for which entrance (East). I parked and went in to look at the directory and walked down the hall. The waiting room was empty and small, but very clean. I told her my name, gave her my slip and insurance card, and only waited a few minutes. Everything went by really fast. The nurse was kind and helpful. She asked if I had any questions and took her time with me because I do not like needles. She explained what she was doing and what was being tested, which was very helpful. I am glad I chose St. John.

The first time he couldn't get a proper draw so he asked for assistance, then the second time he hit a nerve. Handicap parking is always full when I come with my family member and it can be a bit of a hassle when they have to be dropped off by the door while I take over the driving to park their car in a non handicap parking spot. My only concern is for anyone coming here alone and having to walk further if handicap spots are not available. Otherwise, it's a nice, convenient facility.

His calm demeanor and gentle conversation kept me blissfully distracted. My arm looks fine a day later (no bruising). Will return to this location.

My doc ordered two separate MRIs. When the doctor went to review the MRI, only one test was on the…read moredisc. I went back to Henry Ford and was told that the MRI techs decided only one test was necessary, and without notifying me or the doctor, only put one test on the disc. Since when does a lab tech decide what doctor's orders they will or will not follow? Esp since both MRIs were performed at the time of my appointment. Obviously it was a technical mix up and they are in CYA mode with the 'tech decides which tests to perform'. If that's true, I'll never go to Henry Ford again because I'd like the doctor to determine what tests I need, not a random lab tech. Bottom line, if you have MRIs scheduled here, make sure you know how many, and you have the corresponding results in hand before you leave.

I arrived on time and the waiting room was packed. I sat down and let them know I was here by opening their text message from the previous day and saying "I'm here". One minute later I was called in for my blood draw, easy peasy!! Karoleen was so nice and pleasant to me that it made my day. Please do yourself a favor and create an appointment online and then when you arrive just open your phone and tell them you are in the waiting room. This particular building for review has a simple call ahead for your preferred day and time for any doctor required imaging test. The phone staff is polite and courtesy when scheduling. The hours of testing are early morning to late in afternoon up to early evening. This Medical Pavillion building has a welcoming lobby and waiting area. When checking with my referral, Insurance and ID card is less than 10 minute wait time. My yearly Mammogram and Bone Density tests are quick with a knowledgeable technican and 3D imaging machines as well. The women's area for changing with lockers, rest room and waiting room is welcoming, clean, and efficient with accommodations. I schedule My appointments in the morning so if it's at 9:00 AM, I am finished and ready to exit the building by 10:00 AM. Sometimes I am greeted by the same yearly technician which eases my mind. Recently, I had an MRI in December of 2021. All the Staff at this Henry Ford Radiology & Imaging department are courtesy, well trained and very professional and efficient at their Medical careers. I am proud to be a Henry Ford Patient and will continue here at Radiology & Imaging plus My three Henry Ford Medical Doctors at their office practice.
