On Jan 4th 2021 I went to the closest Lab for a blood draw which was in Seaside. During check-in…read moreit appeared they were taking all precautions for covid-19. However, I found that the phlebotomist had been offered the vaccine but had declined to take it. She went on to say that many people in the hospital service had declined to take the vaccine. Further she had no allergies or medical condition to support her declining the vaccine. She just did not feel comfortable. I am a 75-year-old diabetic and a one-year cancer survivor. I feel that I am at risk in this situation and that you are not taking the covid-19 pandemic seriously. When I was a child and the polio vaccine came out I took it immediately. Our generation believed in vaccines and took them for ourselves and to protect the people around us. Is it too much to ask the current generation to respect and protect the vulnerable people against this virus? I will go elsewhere for my next blood draw and check with the phlebotomist to see if they are vaccinated before I have another test done.

I carried her in, although on the phone they asked if I needed a gurney, which I didn't, but has kindly offered. The second they saw me and my pup, everyone stopped what they were doing to help. They could clearly see between my face, and her, that this was serious. Although our sweetie passed, they did everything they could, and kept me in the loop the entire time. The physician gave us great peace by telling us what had occurred, there was nothing we could have done, and even if we'd gotten her there earlier they probability to survival was low. In an extraordinarily difficult time they give my wife and I peace knowing we'd done what we could and it wasn't our fault. I had a mentor tell me, "why and what if are what keep you up at night." They did everything they could to shut down those difficult thoughts. While this is a sad outcome, I can't think every person who helped me and our pup last night do what they could. I'll never forget how you helped me through one of the most difficult processes of my life and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We specifically told multiple staff members, including the doctor, that we suspected the swelling could be related to an ear infection. My dog was taken to the back, and despite being there for approximately six hours, I was never allowed to see him during the visit. We were told that they needed to discuss payment before examining him. We ultimately paid $243 for the initial "exam," $357.25 for blood work, plus medication fees, for a total of $761.21. After getting home, I checked his ear myself and noticed a significant amount of wax. I called the hospital to confirm whether his ears had been examined. Emily put me on hold to ask and then told me that they had not checked his ears. When I asked why, considering we had specifically raised the possibility of an ear infection and his face was swollen extremely close to his ear, I was told that they do not check ears unless there is a specific reason to. I find that extremely concerning. We specifically gave them a possible explanation for his symptoms, and his swelling was located directly next to his ear. I expected that to at least warrant an ear examination, especially after paying hundreds of dollars for an exam. I then asked to speak with the doctor or a manager. I was told there was only a shift lead. When I asked to speak with the shift lead, I was told she was busy and that the doctor was in the middle of a "procedure." I simply asked for the shift lead's name, and Emily told me I did not need to be given that information and then hung up on me. I understand that emergency veterinary care can be expensive, and I am willing to pay for appropriate care for my dog. What I cannot accept is paying $761.21 and later learning that something as basic as checking his ears was not done--even though we specifically raised an ear infection as a possible cause of his facial swelling. The lack of communication, compassion, transparency, and professionalism throughout this experience was extremely disappointing. I brought my dog here because I trusted this facility to properly evaluate him when he was clearly unwell. Instead, I left feeling like my concerns were dismissed and that the focus was more on payment than making sure my dog received a thorough examination. If you are considering bringing your pet here in an emergency, I strongly recommend asking exactly what will be examined and what is included in the "exam" before agreeing to treatment or charges. My experience left me deeply disappointed and concerned about the level of care my dog received. I don't need a generic response with " we apologize for your experience ,please feel free to contact us" what you need to do is train Emily for some customer service and the other lady who rolled her eyes when I was speaking to them during my visit.

After checking for moisture in our walls I was horrified when they discovered mold growing in a closet that had been hidden behind a dresser. Turns out we had moisture damage in several walls due to a leaking drain pipe under our shower causing mold growth on our Sheetrock inside the walls. Remediation began quickly and Gabriel was very thorough rooting out any potential sources of leaks and eliminating all traces of mold. What was a stressful situation was made so much easier by Emil's amazing customer care from initial assessment to recommendations for repair. Scheduling was easy, and I had orders sent by my doctor via secure fax. After receiving an email reminder the day before, Alondra arrived on time and took care to prepare a sterile area, even covering her shoes before coming in. She took the time to find a good vein and even helped ensure successful access by applying a heating pad to my arm. The draw was quick and she was able to pull multiple tubes. I still got faint but that was ok because I was comfortable on my couch and her comforting demeanor ensured I felt better quickly. She has all the equipment needed to prep the samples before bringing them to the lab and the whole process took less than 20 minutes including the vein quest and vasovagal recovery! He just estimated the amount of pills he put in the container; he didn't use any device to insure the correct number of pills. When I asked him, he said he was "just eyeballing it"; he said he had the experience to know he was filling my order correctly. He was friendly and on the positive side, all of the staff there I've delt with are pleasant and try to be helpful.

She clearly didn't finish our cake because she was too busy getting McDonald's while on the clock. The store manager supposedly took care of it. But I don't believe he cares after this input I will call corporate and the health department, hopefully they will take care of this issue. Again avoid this store at all cost.
