They offer a very wide variety of labs, among other things! I'd been to the Carmel location once, but this location is closer to me. Parking is available on the street in front of the building. There *is* a lot behind the building, but spots have reserved signs and there's a towing notice. I wouldn't risk it. Thankfully, I was able to find an easy spot right out front. I had a slew of blood work I was getting this day. The phlebotomist was very kind--and running the whole place herself! She told me she had 18 years of experience and it showed. We had some trouble with getting my blood at first. She had to wiggle the needle a bit, but I didn't feel a thing! And she quickly got the vials we needed. Results were back in about five business days. I had two tests that were more rare in this set. Typically, you can expect results back in 2-5 days. I'll definitely come back here as needed. It's clean, easy, professional, and pretty affordable for those without insurance coverage for whatever reason.

Doctor called for at least 6 test and the cost was $240.00 which was fine with me. The woman working, who's name is Tuesday, was very friendly and definitely had the skills for an easy blood draw. I've had previous experiences else where that did not go so well. Tuesday has exemplary phlebotomist skills! It was fast and painless. I'd liken it to a butterfly landing on my arm. The receptionist, the nurses, X-ray tech and doctors have always been friendly, helpful, and professional. It is definitely helpful that a patient can check in at the urgent care and if needed, the visit can be changed to ER level without ever leaving the room. I've worked in healthcare myself for most of my adult life and I can recognize staff members who are dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. I'm very pleased with all the staff members I have met here. If you are in need of urgent care this is the best in the area. Highly recommend.

My wife is a 69-year-old woman. On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, she visited the Hazel Dell Parkway…read moreoffice of Riverview Health Urgent Care in Carmel, Indiana with a complaint of chest pain. At the time she was recovering from bronchitis. She has had bronchitis before and knew what the associated pain from coughing feels like; this pain was different and she mentioned that during her visit. The attending physician, James Beeson, M.D., ordered a chest x-ray and subsequently ruled out pneumonia. He then sent her home. At NO time did he listen to her heart, ask about her cardiovascular health or history, perform an EKG, test for cardiac enzyme levels, or seem to consider her heart as a possible cause of the pain. Further, he spent less than five minutes with her and seemed distracted or preoccupied. Finally, at discharge she received no paperwork. At 2:30 a.m. the following day (Wednesday, March 18th) she awoke with severe chest pain and sweating. She could have ignored this since the doctor indicated that it's just bronchitis, but did not. I drove her to the Emergency Department at Riverview Health in Noblesville, Indiana where testing determined that she was having a heart attack. Cardiac catheterization that day revealed that that her left coronary artery was 95% occluded, the scenario known as the "widow maker." Their Interventional Cardiologist was able to use a balloon catheter to open that artery somewhat but was unable to place any stents. This necessitated a second procedure where the calcification was reamed out, after which he placed three stents. As we subsequently reviewed this whole chain of events it seems patently obvious to us that Dr. Beeson completely missed the obvious (her heart) when considering her complaint of chest pain (which we now know was angina). Further, had he considered and acted upon that possibility by immediately sending her to the Emergency Department for further evaluation, then the occlusion would have been discovered and addressed that day, and she would not have suffered the heart attack the following day; it could have been medically avoided. Dr. Beeson clearly misdiagnosed her chest pain, and the result was an avoidable heart attack and the mental stress and anguish associated with it. When we brought this matter, via e-mail, to the attention of Julie Nix, Riverview's President and CEO; Rick Henvey, the CEO of Riverview's parent, Parkview Hospital; and Maddie Larson, Riverview Health's Director of Quality, Ms. Larson responded via e-mail saying, in part, "We understand how distressing this whole experience has been for you and sincerely apologize for that. Upon receiving your email, we once again reviewed the care you received with the appropriate clinical leadership. While we are unable to discuss personnel matters or confidential aspects of our quality review process, please know that the review of this case was thorough and rest assured that appropriate follow-up and education has occurred." Later she stated, "At this time, we will consider this matter closed." I find that the actions purported to have been taken, and Riverview Health's overall response, to be totally insufficient. My wife suffered an avoidable heart attack and Riverview and Dr. Beeson get off scot-free?!?!?! That is simply unacceptable. It seems to us that they are attempting to sweep this matter under the rug. Ms. Larson's comment that, ""...appropriate follow-up and education has occurred..." tells me that the individuals responsible are, in all probability, still employed and free to make this same mistake, or worse, again! My recommendation is that you seek your healthcare elsewhere!

I went in while experiencing a miscarriage. I arrived at 7pm and was told that an ultrasound tech…read morewas on call and had already been called due to another patient experiencing the same symptoms that I was and needing an ultrasound as well. I was told that once the tech was called, she had an hour to report in so it may be a wait. From about 8pm when I was moved to the ER side (apparently required due to needing an ultrasound), I was left in the room and would leave to go out in the hallway and check in with nurses to find out when I would be seen or any updates on the tech arriving. I did this about every half hour since I had been previously told she had an hour to report in. The tech finally saw me at 12am. During the ultrasound, she had constant phone notifications sounding off and distracting her from the procedure. At one point, she had me (the patient) hold the transvaginal probe inside of my body so that she could respond to her phone. I was already quite distressed due to the nature of going through a miscarriage, and this made it much worse. The cherry on top was the bill I received. $3400 (after insurance claims). $2000 of this portion was just due to having to check into the ER (to not be seen whatsoever) but just to have the ultrasound in that ER room. Just beware before coming here. The doctors and nurses are kind, but "on call" does not mean much to the techs. Also, beware that you will end up paying thousands if you step foot into their ER (even if no testing or care is done via ER services).

Went for travel vaccines. Everyone with the exception of the folks on the front desk were very…read morefriendly. After writing our names on blue slips of paper our interaction with the front desk was nonexistent. We were called to the back by a friendly young lady where we filled out forms and answers questions. Then taken for our weight and blood pressure. Next room we talked to the nurse further and filled out more paperwork. Dr Lobo came in and we talked to her about where we were traveling to. Filled out more forms and consent for getting a vaccine produced outside the US. The US vaccine is currently out of production. Signed the forms and and nice young lady came in and gave is our vaccine. She did a very good job. I despise needles and I get very nervous. Only a slight pinch and it was done. We did wait a few minutes just incase we had a reaction but we were good and on our way. Great until the bill comes if insurance doesn't pay.

The nurse, doctor, and resident were all so kind. The front staff was very short with me and seemed…read morerobotic. The people who took my blood weren't the best. I was poked 4 times by 3 different people to finally get one tube of blood. My only other complaint is the time it took. I got there at 2:50 for a 3:00 appointment and I didn't get out of there until almost 5:30.
