While the staff were friendly and professional--which I do appreciate--the overall process was frustrating and unnecessarily burdensome. Vanderbilt Imaging requires a pregnancy test be completed before the appointment, but does not offer it on-site. This means patients must coordinate a completely separate appointment through their doctor beforehand. In my case, this turned what should have been a straightforward visit into a half-day ordeal. I've had this same test done at another center in Nashville where the pregnancy test was handled in-house. It made the process smoother and far less emotionally taxing. An HSG is already an intrusive and sensitive procedure. Patients deserve a streamlined, one-stop experience--especially in the context of fertility testing and loss. I strongly urge Vanderbilt Imaging to reconsider their policy and begin offering the pregnancy test on-site to better support the people they serve.

The girl who helped me check in (I'm sorry I couldn't remember her name) was very helpful. I was scheduled for two tests that were hours apart on the same day. They, without me asking, arranged for me to have both things done while I was there instead of having to come back for the second test hours later. I waited a little bit but that was way better than having to come back. The ultrasound technician seemed thorough, the MRI team and the technician were all very nice. I had a good experience and wanted to correct my previous review. Whatever changes they've made are working.

My 80 year old mother (who is not very tech savvy) checked in and sat down. After 30 minutes she got the attention of someone who worked there when they came out to get someone else. They said that her check in did not go through and now she was considered "late" and would have to sit there and wait until they could squeeze her in, IF they could squeeze her in at all or she would have to reschedule. Seriously, I don't understand why there isn't someone checking in the patients or at least someone who checks the waiting room to make sure these things don't happen. When she said that she could not wait all afternoon, she was met with a shoulder shrug. Totally uncaring and not professional. This was to be the second blood draw she had there in three weeks. The first appointment was confirmed by text a couple of times yet when we got there they had not confirmed that they had the paperwork they needed from the referring doctor so she had to wait an hour while they did the work they should have done before the appointment and certainly before the two confirmation texts. This will absolutely be a last resort for lab services in the future.

This radiology group has been extremely disappointing. Report turnaround times are slow, and the…read morestaff members I've spoken with on the phone have been consistently unprofessional and discourteous. It's difficult to understand why any physician would choose to refer patients here when there are likely better alternatives available. In my view, this ultimately reflects poorly on the referring provider. If you have the option to seek imaging services elsewhere, I would strongly encourage requesting a different referral--I certainly will in the future.

I made an appointment via the app and arrived at that time. Did not really seem like the appt did much for wait time or order of being seen, but lets pretend it did. I ended up waiting about 15 minutes to be seen beyond my original appointment time. The space where draw happens is a small room with three chairs. They bring in three patients at a time, confirm information, and then process what is needed whether blood draw, urine tests, etc...seems a bit weird and awkward sharing the space with a few folks to be honest. The lab tech was nice, very talkative...maybe a bit too much considering the situation and shared space. Never fault someone's friendliness, just added to the perceived awkwardness. The process was fairly simple from registration to arrival, process to departure. Good to know the location is here if needed again.
