My 80 year old mother (who is not very tech savvy) checked in and sat down. After 30 minutes she got the attention of someone who worked there when they came out to get someone else. They said that her check in did not go through and now she was considered "late" and would have to sit there and wait until they could squeeze her in, IF they could squeeze her in at all or she would have to reschedule. Seriously, I don't understand why there isn't someone checking in the patients or at least someone who checks the waiting room to make sure these things don't happen. When she said that she could not wait all afternoon, she was met with a shoulder shrug. Totally uncaring and not professional. This was to be the second blood draw she had there in three weeks. The first appointment was confirmed by text a couple of times yet when we got there they had not confirmed that they had the paperwork they needed from the referring doctor so she had to wait an hour while they did the work they should have done before the appointment and certainly before the two confirmation texts. This will absolutely be a last resort for lab services in the future.

There was 1 lady there working all by herself but luckily they weren't busy. She was super nice and professional and made the whole experience better than my previous visit. In total it took about 15 minutes from enter to exit. That's how it should be. I was allowed 4 minutes this time instead of 2 and I wasn't treated like a druggie or looked down upon at all. The last visit I had was not good, I felt I was labeled as soon as I walked in. Anyways, I passed the test we chatted and that was it. Like I said, much better experience this time.
