Lockport location terrible!!!! I made an appointment and had the confirmation code but it wasn't in the system. They told me to sign in for next available appointment that was 2 hours later. If I could give 0 stars I would. Each visit they always run behind as if they are not properly staffed. If you make an appointment and it's your time, they still honor previous appointments that arrive 15+ minutes late and into your scheduled time. Very unprofessional and unpredictable. read more

I went to Quest in Lockport NY. The customer service and wait time was very good. The office looked clean and nice. I was asked for a copay, I've never needed to pay anything at other labs. The time it took for results to get to doctor was a little long. I have yet to get my results for my records. I've been to two other labs and results have always come the day I had the lab work done. This Quest Center is only as good as the phlebotomist you get. I have been going to this Quest every month for three years. There are some that professional, courteous, and have an excellent bed side manner. There are two that are seriously unfriendly and you have to TELL them which arm, if you want a smaller needle and to be careful. Sometimes it is the luck of the draw (pun intended) if you get a bruise. Not necessarily their fault. It is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water before you go to plump up the veins. Follow the instructions to not carry anything on or in that arm of a while to reduce the risk of bruising. Yes, ladies the handbag can cause a bruise. My final nugget of wisdom. Lol. You are your own advocate. Speak up! If you want a Butterfly Needle say something. If you are uncomfortable say something. If you want another phlebotomist say something. :) read more

When you schedule an appointment and your not taken any time near your scheduled time, you have to wonder why bother scheduling an appointment? Arrived early for an appointment and wasn't taken until almost an hour after scheduled time. read more

After being a bruised pincushion at a hospital downtown last week, Jenna at the Lockport Quest was a welcome interaction. Perfect! Professional, courteous and kind! I've never had an issue at Quest, knock on wood, but Jenna was one of the nicest people I've met at quest. Had a noon appointment. Was seen at 12:10. Staff was friendly and I considered them competent. The down side was I had an appointment with my doctor 3 weeks later to go over the results. The morning of the appointment I called the doctor's office and they informed me that they hadn't received the results yet. When I called Quest they told me it usually takes 3 to 4 weeks for the results for this particuler test to be reported. I should have been informed of this at the time the blood was taken. BTW, the doctor's office should have called me and told me that they hadn't received the results and to reschedule . I was proactive and I called them. read more

NEVER AGAIN! I had to get blood work done and I'm not the easiest person to deal with it when comes to blood work. I hate it. I had a terrible lady do my blood draws today. She was miserable,didn't care that I was really nervous about it. I asked her to use a butterfly needle and she rolled her eyes at that. She also ended up poking me 3x. There may be some great blood people here but she wasn't one of them. They are lucky I am being grateful and giving 2 stars. read more

I have been to Quest in Lockport many times and I have only had one good experience. There was a few times I had a man that made me feel very uncomfortable. He wasn't very personable and quite rude. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I would think that they would want to make you feel more comfortable but not there. I absolutely dread going to that place but I have no choice. I had an online appointment, Checked in on-time and waited for 45 mins. I then had to get back to work so I left. A half hour later I finally received a text to come in to get my testing done. What is the point of having an appointment system if it is completely disregarded in favor of walk-ins. I don't have all day to wait hence making an appointment. read more

Have to come here at least once a month for blood work if not more. The staff is always friendly and quick. Unfortunately they are under staffed and if you do not have an appointment, yes the wait may be extremely long! Let me see you walk in to any medical place without an appt and see how fast they take you! Before going check the website, it will tell you the wait time for walk in patients. I went in on 1/8/2020 to get a drug test for pre-employment and one lady told me that she can't do it cause in case I need to stay for 3 hours or whatever I needed to be there 3 hours before they close to take it. Went in at 6am on 1/9/2020 to take the test again and I was done and out of there within 45min. Glad I wasted my time going in that early when I didn't need to and could've done it the first time I went in! read more

When i walk into the quest office in Lockport there is always a feeling of dread. Of all the times I have been there for my medical lab work I have only had but one positive experience. The other times I have gone I have felt judged, looked down upon and treated with extreme disrespect by very rude, insensitive and clueless employees. I do not feel comfortable coming here at all. The fact that I am a 25-year-old female seems to impact the way that I am treated most places I go, as far as medical necessities. These people need to learn how to properly treat patients who are Ill, worn down and tired. I can guarantee most of us have been waiting in the waiting room for 25 minutes or more with or without an appointment every time we go. If you hate your job, if you hate working with patients who are typically frustrated with the way that medical professionals all-around treat us, then quit your job and go work at McDonald's. don't take it out on me. read more

They should just not offer walK ins. The wait is atrocious. Unless you haVe all day for appointments Quest is it not the place to go.

I had a wonderful experience last week. The registration was touch-less via a QR code on my phone, the waiting room was spread out, I was called into the back room exactly on my appointment time and Heather (?) was personable, the room was extremely clean and I was back on the road in 7 minutes. I have been coming here for pre employment drug screens and blood works for several years now. Today I had the pleasure of working with Sabrina for a blood draw and drug screen which she was very thorough throughout. She described every step of the process and was sure to be personable, even was able to hit my nearly IMPOSSIBLE veins on the first stick. You can tell she really cares about her job and doing it well as well as correctly. I really appreciated the attention to detail and would recommend them any time! Also, my wait time for a walk in appointment was less than 10 minutes behind 3 others. read more

I will not be visiting another Quest Diagnostics in the future. I was pleasantly surprised when I was taken back so quickly and the staff was very kind but before my blood was drawn I was informed that I could be charged UP TO $50 for the test if my insurance didn't cover all of it. I signed a form acknowledging this fact. A couple of days ago I received an invoice from Quest Diagnostics saying that I owed another $44.21. I am a single, working mother on a tight budget. If I had known that the services were going to be more than $50, I most likely would not have even bothered with the routine blood test. What I am most upset about though is that she told me I could be charged UP TO $50 and I wouldn't be charged any more than that. It's deceiving. When I called Quest Diagnostics, the woman I spoke to could have cared less. In a day and age when health care seems to be more confusing for the average American than ever before, I'm disappointed that for-profit companies continue to take advantage of their position in the industry. read more

I had blood work done here several times, but when I went on April 5th 2017, they were training a new girl and the trainer left her alone with me to take blood. She misunderstood what was requested on the blood work script and they ended up having to take blood twice and sticking me with the needle twice instead of just once. It was horrendous. The trainee kept asking me the same questions over and over again. She did not know what she was doing and should have not been left alone with a patient. Terrible experience.
