my experience with quest diagnostics was very positive. I was brought in to do my blood draw. they called me in on time. The phlebotomist made me feel very comfortable as I had to have 15 tubes of blood. unfortunatel...it is not easy to find the quest location. They need to add signage in the building. I would definitely go back Because My phlebotomist was Tanisha (not sure of spelling) she was incredible and I hardly felt the needle. read more

This place is unsanitary. I had to carry a cup of urine sample without a lid down the hallway from the bathroom. Then watched her pour it directly from the cup into a vial over the counter top. No funnel, pipette, and not even over a sink. read more

the lady who was in charge of my testing had an extremely bad attitude. I went for an employment drug screen, and she treated me as if I were on drugs. very unprofessional, and racist (even though she was black). Dont come here to the quest on eastern parkway unless you want to be treated awfully and without any respect!!! read more

Do Not Go Here. I needed blood work done and my dermatologist recommended Quest. I chose this particular location because of its proximity to my work. Seemed easy. I went last Wednesday morning (2/14) and, after some hesitation finding the suite, walked into the lobby. [Pro Tip: take the elevator to the second floor instead of the stairs. The stairs are those weird floating ones which idk about you, but they terrify me.] Exit the elevator and turn right, walking down the creepy, hospital vibe hallway. About 2/3 of the way down, their suite is on the right hand side with a sign hanging above the door. I liked their check-in method, an electronic kiosk where you type in your name, DOB, reason for being there, and address. Simple. There was a TV perched in the corner that played some random channel, but also gave an estimated wait time. That was snazzy. I was fourth in line, behind some guys getting drug tested. My wait quickly went from 14 minutes to 2 in no-time flat. I got taken back to a room, sat, gave the nurse my blood work order form, ID and insurance card. A couple of minutes pass and I'm chit-chatting with the nurse, who then tells me the form was missing a diagnostic code. Long story short: the dermatologist didn't put the proper codes on the form. Both the nurse and I called, to no avail, hoping to get the correct form faxed over. I waited around, until I got hangry (my blood work had to be fasting) and I left. All-in-all, I spent about an hour and 10 minutes there. I return the next day, (2/15) and it was like magic. The dermatologist's office had faxed my form over the day before, I was the only person waiting, and my blood was taken in no time. The nurse was super nice, but the needle did hurt some going in (it normally doesn't) and the site bled. I got a band-aid and went on my way. Fast forward to today when I went to my derm to get my prescription finally. A slight rigamarole of 'where's-the-lab-results-oh-we-found-them-wait-that-isn't-right' became 'Hmmm, they only did one panel of blood work when they were supposed to do three.' The nurse I was with called Quest and asked them why only 1/3 of the work was done. Quest said they couldn't do 2 of them because I wasn't fasting. EXCUSE ME. I'm a steadfast rule follower. If my blood work order specifically says to not eat beforehand, I'm doing that. Especially because I only want to get jabbed with a needle once thank you very much. Furthermore, I explicitly told the nurse I was fasting because I was hungry and dreaming about eating breakfast soon after. So, someone lied to cover their mistake and try to make me out to be the bad person. Wrong. Moral of the story: don't use Quest. They lie and cannot accurately follow written blood work orders. I came here for a blood test. First off, walking into the building and down the hall to the office was trippy. The architecture and decor is very ... institutional. Think "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Cinder block walls, polished tile floors, dim lighting, art deco numbering on the office doors, very unadorned. It was clean and sterile and stark. I felt like I had fallen through a wormhole and ended up in a 1950s office building. I wouldn't have been surprised to see Philip Marlowe smoking a cigarette, hiding his face behind a newspaper. Anyway, I walked into the office, and nobody was there except one other patient reading a magazine. The receptionist window was closed, and I couldn't hear or see anyone inside. There was an iPad on a stand that was how I signed in. I punched in my information and confirmed my appointment and... waited? I got no feedback as to whether any human had received a notification that we were there. So I sat and thumbed through my phone. The time of my appointment came and went. At about ten minutes past my appointment time, a staff member came through the lobby and seemed surprised we were there. She went back into the office, and then I finally heard voices. About three minutes later, the patient before me got called in. Ten minutes after that, she exited and left the office. Then a couple minutes later, nearly 30 minutes past my appointment time, I got called in and had my test performed. As far as that went, it was fine. It was a very typical lab experience. The tech and I engaged in small talk. She took my blood and vitals. and I left. The impression I was left with after this experience was that they weren't overly concerned about making patients feel comfortable, welcome, or cared for. I could not see that they were busy and running behind, yet they missed my appointment time by a half hour. They got the job done, but nothing extra. read more

I had an appointment for 8:30. I got there at 8:31 and stood at the door. They didn't open the doors until 8:40. I sat down as instructed only to realize 20 mins later that I needed to sign in. They changed my appointment time to walk in, and I wasn't able to wait another 40 minutes. I explained the situation, and they said too bad so sad. The lady who drew blood was very nice and professional but I had to wait for sooo long considering I was one of only two single people when I arrived. I had to go back to work and I didn't have all the time in the world. When I was almost about to leave, a very nice foreign lady took care of me, fortunately. It seemed like she was the only person working in the lab, even though I could hear another lady talking on the phone, and another lab technician walking around. read more
