I arrived at 9:45 for a 10:20 appointment i had to leave after 10:45 after not being seen.

WOW. This place is FILTHY. I am shocked that they provide medical care here. I walked in and the radiator is just falling off the wall, chairs and walls are dirty. There is literally something slopped on the wall in the picture I attached. Good luck to you if you have to give a urine sample! Take a look at the bathroom. Yikes! I just wanted to leave here and take a hot shower. There is no excuse that this facility should be running in this state. None. read more

This is the worst quest ive ever been too.. Quest on Main street in Manchester Ct.. Very rude and do not make you feel very comfortable..You ask questions and most will not go out of their way to answer them.. VERY RUDE!! at least a few of them... WILL NEVER GO AGAIN.. I came as walk in because my doctor wanted the test done today. I got here by 7 I asked the woman a question about registering. She said you have to come back at 11:40 I said I can't I have to go to work She then said well you could be waiting along time if you get seen at all. I was the first on the walk in list She said well all the appointments are going to be called before you. There was surely a nicer way this information could have been shared. I was starving because it was a fasting draw. I was already anxious about being late for work and about having my blood drawn. If I wasn't on a time frame for the results I would have left. I have come to this location for years and never been treated this way So disrespectful. They are the worst! I had bloodwork done over 1&1/2 weeks ago and still don't have results. You can't call the local lab, they put you on hold and never answer the main number and the chat gets disconnected after you've typed your messsge. Very frustrating working with this company! read more

I read so many negative reviews of this lab and quest in general...I'm surprised. They were clean, fast and responsive. Plenty space in the waiting area. I recommend making an appointment. I didn't have to wait, I was out in less than 10 min. It was easy to schedule the appointment online. You are given a code (no print out necessary)which you can use to check in. There is no person at the front desk you have to use the kiosk it's very easy. Your number is displayed on the television so you know how long your wait is. Soon after, I was called in to have my blood drawn. The process was so simple. The lady was very informative, answered any questions I had... she also cautioned me that one on the tests would cost me $$ out of pocket... usually they don't tell you this at other locations and I have paid a heavy bill for not enough coverage by my insurance in the past. Not very clean facility and very rude and unfriendly staff. I very rarely leave reviews but never had such a bad experience. The technician was very condescending to the customer in front of me and seemed annoyed when I asked if the results were being sent to my primary care physician. read more

Walked in for routine blood work ordered by PCP. My doctor stated to just walk in and they will have the orders in the system which I did. Lab tech was very rude at the fact that I did not make a appointment for which I was told non was needed. Tech stated "next time make a appointment so we don't have 50,000 people waiting in the waiting room". When I arrived there was only one other waiting for service. I will continue to not make a appointment for a service which literally takes 3 minutes and the fact that Quest Diagnostics does not require appts. for their service. Judging by the reviews on this location I am not the only one experiencing this. read more

Needed to get a test done and was under a time crunch, I showed up to the facility without a mask and I panicked but saw only one other person in the waiting room so I decided to ask if they could give me a mask when they called me in. They called me in and I'm immediately scolded by the attendant. I didn't even have a chance to ask for a mask, she wasn't looking to help me be, she just needed to jump down someone's throat. I am usually always wearing a mask and today was an off day for me. She could not find my blood order and ushered me out of the room faster than I had time to understand what was happening. I was appalled at the treatment. Another person started swearing at one of the attendants due to his current level of frustration with them. I left, no thanks, will drive out of my way to go to a better lab. read more

I had a very positive experience at this QUEST location, I had a bit of a complicated requisition from a Allergy doctor and there were questions on the requisition that required two phone calls to my doctor to confirm what was requested. I wish I had gotten the names of the folks who went through the paperwork and the actual blood draw, but they were fast, friendly, efficient and most importantly patient with my doctors requisition. The waiting area appears to be recently renovated. You must use a kiosk to sign yourself in, and there's a TV with the wait list so you know where you are in line. I am not sure what the deal is with the other negative reviews, but everyone I dealt with were super nice and patient. Well done! NOTE: This lab is located in the bottom of the building, so park behind the building and go into the door at the bottom of the building, don't walk around front. read more

I have been going to Quest in Vernon for years. I have since moved to Manchester I thought that I would go to the Manchester site instead. All I can say is never ever again. I had once simple question and the women was so RUDE kept telling me to make an appointment. Told her I had once simple question. She kept saying "make an appointment. Which I would have BUT this was at 10 am and the only appointment I could get was at 1:20. Tried to tell her that I had a doctor appointment at that time and all she kept saying was "make an appointment". Kept shutting the door in my face. Went to Vernon Quest and they were wonderful. I was told they got rid of her in Vernon because she was so rude and people really complained about her. Reason she still has a job? Because Quest is in need of help. Quest diagnostics at 555 main st in Manchester ct is a hot mess. The people are rude. They called my number and before I could get up the rude lady slammed door in my face. The we're tending to a baby that out could hear crying in the back there was no one else there so it was some one who works. They have a monopoly on all the labs around I hate going there and they are rude rude rude. There was a man there that had an appointment and she called his name and then slammed the door. Then came back out and said oh yeah it was you. We were there at 6.10 am and the only way I can describe the woman was she was white. It's a shame they are in bed with hartford hospital. QUEST LAB is the most FILTHY lab ever! I thought they were having a bad day, but every time I was sent there, the toilet was NEVER flushed. Who can pee into a sample cup in unsanitary conditions anyway? Even when you hand them your "cup", they still do NOT LET YOU WASH YOUR HANDS. I started going to CLINCAL LABORATORIES on North Main Street, in Manchester, CT., and it is immaculate. They are not ridiculous about the screening either. You can sit and drink water until you feel the urge. When I first got there, I could not "go", so Iread some magazines and drank water. I went back again this past October. My doctor called me, YELLING, that I HAVE TO GO TO QUEST. I was like, I went to the "other" lab already this year and you did not say anything. Then to verify, I called DPH, and they said he may like their "hand off" better....so they think I have something to do with a urine sample once I leave? Quest called me after I posted a complaint and they BRAGGED about how they will NOT ALLOW YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS, like it is a good thing. Any place, that refuses you hand sanitizer or a sink and some soap, should be shut down by Public Health. This drug testing is going to a new LOW. I heard from this woman that they are suppose to come into the bathroom with you and watch!!!! If that is the case, they would never get a drop because I have "stage fright" when it comes to peeing in front of anyone. I was verbally told to find a "new doctor" by the "yeller". So far, no luck. I have a titanium neck and a failed back surgery so I am a bionic mess and the medication I take, I need. I do not take too much, share, sell or do anything stupid like the people that have now ruined it for the rest of us. Do not lower your standards when it comes to sanitary conditions. If it is a pig-sty, then leave and stand up for your rights, and yes, we do have rights as a patient. read more

Wow, no word to really describe this place. Came in for a simple drop off had to wait 15 minutes before I even talk to a real person. Instead of a front desk they have a kiosk. I'm tech Savvy and had trouble using it. Think of all the elderly people coming here, think they can check in. Nope, watched some guy try and had to help him out. They give you a wait time conveniently on a TV that never changes and is way off. If I can use a different lab in the future I will. I suggest you do the same. read more

During the pandemic, I needed to get my blood drawn. Quest Diagnostics claimed that they were able to provide a safe and secure environment for that to happen. I made an appointment and showed up on time. The door to the office was locked and a note said that this office was closed and to call another office in town. No one answered my call. As I was fasting, I went to the other office. The waiting room was full even though it was clearly posted that there should be no more than 6 people in the waiting room at any time. I had to sign in using a touch screen (who knows how many other people had signed in using that same screen.). Fortunately, I was wearing gloves. My appointment was not honored. I had to wait, so I left my cell phone number and went to the parking lot to wait. I finally got the text telling me to report for my blood draw. I still had to wait in the overcrowded waiting room until the technician finally called my name. These are not safe procedures!! I will never use Quest again!! read more

Horrible horrible experience! I went today for a pre employment drug test, I signed in and waited only about 10 minutes. I was sent to a room where the employee called me by the wrong name and had me set up for bloodwork. I explained why I was there and that there was a miscommunication. She then preceded to send to another room when a man came in and told me to just sit down. I asked him the process of a drug test since once again I was sitting in a chair for bloodwork, his response was "something like that". After another 10 minutes he told me to pick my own cup to take in the bathroom with me, he insisted I leave my bag in the room and I explained that I'd like my bag in the lock box. After I used the bathroom, I sat in the room for another 15 minutes when all of a sudden his computer malfunctioned and told me it's not his fault that he can't "do anything with the specimen". Very unprofessional all around!! read more

This is the most disorganized facility I have ever been too. I had to wait 40 minutes just to drop off a specimen. No services required! There is a check box on the sheet to indicate you are just dropping off but they don't look at it. You still have to wait for all other patients on the list to be seen to drop it off. Ridiculous! Also, this was my second visit in a week. last week I went to have blood drawn for my biometric screening and the technician was not very good at doing it. Unfortunately given my insurance not paying if labs are done at the hospital I am at the mercy of their crappy services here. read more

Iran at Quest Diagnostics is a pure professional and I never experience any discomfort when giving blood. He is by far the best medical technician I have ever seen. Quick and always ever so cautious! He deserves a raise Quest. He always handles the early morning rush with finesse and a smile to all his customers. Never saw him frazzled in all the years I have been using Quest. Sometimes there are 15 people in line and he carries on with such grace. Thank you for your services. read more
