NO EMPATHY NO SYMPATHY NO APOLOGY Simply did not care, there is NO communication on this hand written rule that is posted in their lobby. What a waste of my time. While they take walk-ins, they will not see you until the waiting area is completely empty of patients with appointments. Several patients complained while I was waiting. Being told it would be a 'few minutes", it was closer to an hour before I was seen. I asked about the delay and they said it was possible for a walk-in to have to wait 90 minutes or more. The blood draw was a bad experience. I have had a blood draw where the phlebotomist ask my permission to proceed because she admired to being inexperienced. This rookie did a better job than today.. First, as she lined up the needle with the review, I could see that she was going to miss the vein by about 2 mm. She missed it, but did not give up. She kept probing the needle in my arm to try to hit the vein. At one point the needle was almost perpendicular to the vein. She also kept wiggling it up and down. After all this, she gave up and tried with a new needle. It has been about 1/2 hour and my arm is sore from the poking around. Staff was very patient and polite in answering my questions.

I arrived about 20 minutes before my appointment time in case there might be additional paperwork, but there was none. I only had to wait about five minutes before being called back. Instructions were very clear prior to my appointment, check in was fast and friendly, and even though they were very busy, there was ample seating in the waiting area. Most times when you have to drink oral contrast, if it's not the liquid chalk, it's the nasty water reminiscent of Flint tap water. My CT called for the Flint water, but you have the option of either lemonade or fruit punch flavoring. I opted for the fruit punch and it actually did a great job of covering up 64 ounces of foulness. Since I was able to get the contrast down in a flash, I didn't have to wait that long for my CT. The tech that took me back also took care of getting my IV started. This guy is an absolute pro! Even with a large bore needle and nothing more than contrast to drink, he found a juicy vein and got a perfect, pain free stick on the first try. This man needs a raise! The tech that performed the CT was also great. Even though they were very busy, he was able to get my scan done quickly without me ever feeling rushed. Everyone involved was very friendly and super professional. If I need another scan in the future, I would certainly have no issue coming back here.

From the very first scan they silenced my nerves and made me feel relaxed, they are warm, friendly, caring and very professional. I am always greeted with a warm smile and usually a laugh because I'm usually late, but I have never felt rushed or like I was just a number to them they take an interest in me. my overall health and even my family. Then 2 weeks ago I had an ultrasound on my legs for blood clots. It was clear according to Rayus. However, I spent 4 hours this morning in ER because I have a blood clot in my right leg. Imagine that. Avoid Rayus if you can!. Now I have to delay my surgery that was scheduled Friday because I have to take blood thinners.
