Phlebotomists not to blame, but my freakishly tiny veins. I arrived 10 minutes early, super hydrated and Latoya caught me doing jumping jacks in the waiting area to keep my blood pumping! She was thorough, methodical and very professional whilst being warm and friendly. She apologized that she had to stick me twice because the flow was so slow...no big deal whatsoever. My son(disabbled) had blood drawn y Friday. I needed to return a specimen . He was told to drop it off in the afternoon or Saturday. He is unable to drive at present. When I went today, The waiting room was packed. When a technician came out I told him I had a specimen to drop off. He said I had to register and wait. I did not have his identification with me. All the required information was on the specimen container. The door was closed before any further question could be asked.​ I left and will try again on Monday. I brought my 94-year-old mother to get her bloodwork on Saturday and it went great. Our technician, Marilla, did a wonderful job. We forgot to bring the order, but Marilla happily retrieved it online. Despite my mother being fairly dehydrated and having pretty small veins, Marilla was able to get the blood drawn very quickly and efficiently. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. This location is completely understaffed. I had made an appointment online 2 weeks prior. Even so, I had to wait 45 minutes to be seen. Plus when customers had questions, the staff was rude to them. Totally unacceptable and not going back. read more

This is the first time I've gone to discourse diagnostics in the Nanuet area of New York. My experience was decent the staff was very organized and the fact that they also kept up with an pandemic relations such as mask regulations, social distancing in the area, sanitation as well too, it's been a ok experience. They are very strict on making appointments and when they can't except walkins they usually turn people away. But in terms of digital check in and making sure that everyone who needs to be there is there an identification they are very strict and organized. So I wouldn't say necessary this is a great experience but in terms of doing what I need to get done such as any current testing purposes this is a good place to go. I hope that when I go to the other quest diagnostics locations and provide a review I get the same treatment or better possibly. read more

The location at 420 Market Street has a disgusting nurse. I am not sure of her name but she is an older black woman, about 5'5" with gray and black braids and her attitude is one of the worst I've ever seen from a health care worker. Absolutely no empathy and she doesn't know how to speak to other people with respect. I will never use this location again. read more

The last visit is unacceptable . Our results took 5 days and my husband had to reschedule his doctors appointment because of no Labs!.This was never our experience.When i called there was no answer so i had to call back and press extension as if I was a doctor waited again on hold for 3 minutes to find a human to talk too. Horrifying establishment. I came in to drop off a refrigerated sample with an appointment. Yes, an appointment to drop off a bag. They refused me saying they didn't have the doctors order. I needed an order to pick up the containers from them yesterday, which I did. So obviously the order exists and they have it, because with it they gave me the sample containers. I've now been here an hour and 45 minutes with a sample in a bag that needs to be kept refrigerated. The sample is compromised because they refuse to put it in their fridge. This test is for my friend who is so ill she can't leave her house. I'm trying to do this for her. She will likely need to get this all done again and she is so ill she can't eat food besides jello. This place is negligent and soulless. There is no customer service here- just a screen that doesn't work right. I am being spoken over and ignored when I ask for help. This is not a matter of entitlement or lack of patience- it's a persons serious health condition. In a bag on my lap. Unrefrigerated. I hope this place burns to the ground. I've been here well over an hour now and multiple people have had similar issues. read more

The failed and incompetent techs at this location, who likely pursued this career since they could not make it as real MD or nurses, intentionally take their time as a means to punish/discourage walk-ins. I waited for nearly two hours with a waiting room of less than 4 people. They refused to take myself and the other woman holding out for other appointments. It's perfectly fine to expect to wait as a walk in; it's not okay to intentionally waste time, chose not to call people, with the hopes that they would leave. CJ, the male tech called several people who had already left. It took him at least 10 minutes in between to call each patient, each of which had already left. They are also unprofessional and rude; when I finally got a hold of one of them, she cut me off, showed zero empathy , and refused to give me an update by not even taking my name. Luckily I have a recording of this conversation to send to corporate. If you're going to be in healthcare, regardless of whether you're the MD or the frustrated tech that didn't make it, understand it starts with people first. Do not come here; they all deserve to lose their jobs and give way to people who deserve to be in this field and are happy to work. read more

I had an appointment ant the kiosk did not read that I had one. I had to tell the tech that the kiosk was not reading my code. She said she would make a note of it. The waiting room was busy. They would only allow 4!people in the waiting room. All these people were going ahead of me and this tech said your not the only one with an appt. Till I hear 9:15 called and my appt was at 9. Smh. This place is horrible. My husband got a transplant from Cleveland Clinic and has to get blood tests every two weeks for the transplant team there to follow his progress. The Clinic sent electronic orders to Quest twice for this and the incompetent people who work in this Quest location say they can't find them. Apparently, all Quest locations are supposed to be connected to the Cleveland Clinic electronically. Then the people at this Quest told my husband that he needed to bring his blood draw order printed on paper every time he goes in order to not be turned away. He was doing that for a while until they said he needed to get a new order because they can't take the same order for more than six months without a new order. First of all, the order he brought in that day in October started in August and was to expire in February. I don't know if they can do math, but October is only two months later than August. Second of all, who do they think they are to be able to deny following a doctor's orders? The people who work there are very rude, incompetent and uncaring. Either they don't know how to use the electronic orders software on the computer or they just don't want to be bothered to do it. Either way, it isn't acceptable to have people like that working at a medical service place. This place is definitely not patient centered. I really think the main management of Quest should take a look at this branch and either reorganize it, starting with firing the people who currently work there, or shut it down. I think the people that work in this branch enjoy making the patients feel powerless. It is a horrible place. Don't go there. read more

They purposely are slow. One woman in particular. You will wait over 2 hrs even if no one is being called in for an appointment. After 2 ppl were a no show they still didn't call me back. I had an appointment scheduled electronically and when I arrived I checked in 3 minutes before my scheduled appointment through my phone. I received a text back stating I was checked in and I could wait in my car until I received another text to come in. After about 10 minutes, I received another text that I could come inside. I went in and entered my name, birth date and phone number into the kiosk and the response at the kiosk told me I was 10 minutes late and that I was now being considered a walk- in without an appointment. I wanted to correct this mistake so when the inner door opened (a patient was leaving), I saw a lab technician and asked her if I could speak to her for a second. She was the only person in the room at that time. She looked at me and said loudly, "what?" So I raised my voice a little and repeated my question. This lab tech looked at me and yelled, "wait until I'm finished with the patient!"!! JESUS!!!" I was shocked at how rude she was. I was embarrassed because other people were in there and they all heard her and were staring at me. I am a Christian and I was horribly offended when she used my saviors name in vain. She was rude, impolite and disrespectful. There are signs all over the place about how quest diagnostics make their patients feel important and that they care, but after the way I was treated, I think it's all bullshit. Needless to say, I waited for about another 5 minutes and she never came out and I kept feeling more and more uncomfortable so I left. This lab tech had no idea what kind of test I was having.It could have been for cancer for all she knew and I could have been anxious and scared and nervous and she just made it all so horribly worse. I will NEVER go to a quest diagnostics again! I ended up finding a Lab Corp on 3rd street in New City that can do the test I need and the tech there was kind, polite and very helpful. DO NOT GO HERE, Lady was rude and no one helped me. They treat you like garbage. I had an appointment at 1pm signed in at 12:45 and opted out for them to call me since I was going to wait in the car. I decided to come in and sit in the waiting room, it was around 1:03 p.m. People coming in after me were getting called in. One lady who was waiting was yelled at for asking why she hasn't being seen that she has been waiting a long time. They lady told her, well she had an appointment, in a very nasty tone. I decided to get up to ask the same lady if she can check if I signed in correctly that my appointment was at 1 pm. All nasty she said what is your name, then she said well I can't check I have a person waiting for me in the room and closed the door behind her. Been to this location.I made an appt.via internet.My appt was 3:15pm and I arrived at 2:20 pm hoping that I could have my blood test done if the place is empty. I checked in when I came in and 2 people were waiting . Few people came after me who were walk-ins meaning no appointment. I was up to be called next when a lady with a baby who came after a lot of us went inside to complain and the worker took her in ,I understood because she had a baby with her so I was fine with it. Then she called the lady who came after me who has no appointment.So I told the lady worker that I came before the lady she's calling and that I have an appt. ,her answer was "I know you have an appointment but this lady has been waiting for an hour and I'm the only one here,"so I said that if she's waiting for an hour how about me who came before her but she did not listen to what I had to say , didn't even bother to check the computer and took the lady in.
