Of course I need something if I am standing at the front waiting to be checked in. The staff was non compassionate and rude. The triage nurse was the only person that was pleasant. She was great. My blood pressure was dangerously high higher than it has ever been and I was getting a massive headache. I typically do not have high blood pressure and I am not on any medicine for high blood pressure. I was sent back out to the waiting room where I waited an hour. No one was taken back in the waiting area during that hour. I understand that sometimes you have to wait a while. I was getting worried about my symptoms as I had a bowel blockage last year, it felt like a blockage and even during last year my blood pressure was not even close to what is was the night I cam to the ER. I went up to tell the registration desk that I needed to leave and go somewhere else that I felt like it was getting worse . The said okay and I went to another ER for treatment. When I contacted Ohio Health to make a complaint I was told that the lead of the ER would contact me. It has been 11 days no contact from anyone. This is a place that I will never go to on my own ever again!! Very disappointing

They insisted no less than 6+ times that they had already given me a CD. No matter how many times I said they had not, they kept at it. With attitude, they did hand me a CD. The person behind the glass went as far as saying something about 'my son'. I do not have children, and I pointed this out. They clearly were mistaking me for someone else. I would have let it go, if they had just appogized. But, they did not.

Called 4 times, pushed #'s to get to location we had appt for, get more options and if you are on hold 30 minutes, it puts you into their voice mail system. I finally got a person today in about 10 minutes! I had faxed (at their request) his insurance card 3 business days ago. The nice lady I spoke to opened up the Pickerington locations "fax folder" and found they had not even looked at the fax I sent, which is why they called not too politely this morning asking for it again. I hope the issue they had is finally resolved for my husband's appt. tomorrow.

They cancelled the second appointment and put my first appointment on standby, so I had to wait 1 1/2 Hours on Standby for my turn! When I got inside, I asked if the person was able to retrieve my orders from their webpage , she explained to me how they worked from different web pages and was unable to retrieve my orders! Had she taken my new appointment at the new time, we could have ended out visit about 45 minutes sooner than we actually did, by checking my orders before taking down my second appointment and making me wait one and a half hours to be sseen! Or at least post a phone number so that One can call your office to tell you they are on their Way, especially from out of town!

The people at this Quest lab seem to be very poorly trained and Quest Labs in general appears to be…read morea very poor laboratory system. They're very slow and seem to be prone to fumble. I think it was a bad decision for Ohio Health to change over to them. I recently had to have 5 viles of blood drawn that my specialist ordered. I've had these same tests many times and was expecting things to go smoothly with this draw as they did BEFORE Quest took over. That was not the case. I had not even made it back home before the tech who drew my blood was calling me and telling me that she'd made a mistake and that I would need to come back in the morning to get more blood drawn. She said that she hadn't seen that one of the tests needed to be drawn while fasting. No patient should EVER receive such a call! It erodes patient confidence in a major way! I told her that I'd had these tests done many times and that fasting was never a requirement for any of the tests ( by the way, I'm a trained laboratorian which I didn't share with her). I told her that I would absolutely not be traipsing back in for more viles to be drawn. A short time later she called again and said that she had spoken with her supervisor and asked if I wanted the tests to be run anyway. I politely told her to go ahead and send the viles off for testing but SERIOUSLY?! I will never go to them for a blood draw again as I simply don't trust them. I'd suggest that others don't put their trust in them and look elsewhere for laboratory services.

Thankfully, it was nothing serious, but urgent care is handy if you can't get to the doctor and don't wanna go to the emergency room, so it fit my needs.
