Today I had an appointment for 11:20. I got In at 12:50. They explained they were an hour behind and could not accept walkins as they had 3 phlebotomist out with the flu! They checked with Bevile Rd Quest and found they were empty and people down on the list could go there. I stayed as I was next and I'm glad I did. The girl was fabulous, hardly a pinch, and no bruising! The mess wasn't their fault. The Damn flu is rampant in our area! read more

I easily got an appointment for Saturday online. i arrived on time and waited maybe two min to have my test taken. The lab tech, Kay, drew blood from my arm and I really had not felt when she put the needle in my arm. Kay was friendly and kind! I have always had exceptional service here. read more

Always had a good experience there, but to show how a single person can generate a bad experience . . . had blood work on Thursday, could not urine and was given a secure cup to use, and told to bring it back on Friday, just knock on the door and they will take it. I did so and was told I had to sign in as a walk-in and wait to drop it off. The board showed about 15 walk-ins in front of me. they would not take my sample!!! it was secure, if they had to look up some paper work, that could be completed later. NO NEED TO WAIT. jUST STUPID PEOPLE WHO CAN'T THINK. I'd avoid this location!!!! read more

Waited 4 hours as a walk in after fasting since last night..Manager was extremely rude..and unprofessional.yelled at a patient in the waiting room and then kicked him out.After waiting was told not accepting walk ins. Couldn't have told us at checkin not accepting walk ins.you need to hire qualified personnel to manage your office. read more

My grand daughter needed a blood test this Quest says it takes walk ins stopped in at 3:00 to get the blood test done and they said they don't take walk ins after 2:30 there wasn't a sole in the place and still wouldn't take her in for a blood test. So my wife had to make an appointment for another day because by the time the doctor ordered the blood test and drove there it was after 2:30. Obviously the rules you have is for your convenience and not your customers. read more

My wife had a scheduled appointment this morning, when trying to check in neither of the check in kiosk were working. When we brought it up the the dark haired snowflake was like ma'am you need to calm down. Nothing my wife said was in an elevated voice but this obvious disregulated snowflake felt she was. Go back where you came from or reevaluate what is elevated or when someone is simply trying to convey their equipment isn't working for the 4 people in front of who are unable to check in read more

Town Center, Palm Coast: Zero Stars. What a waste of time. Showed up at 6:30am/opening time because I had to be a walk in for blood work. At 8:30 a Quest person comes out and says "you have to start over with signing in because the Kiosk only gave me a number and told me to have a seat- we need a name and birth date." Then I said I've been waiting since 6:30 and now I have to sign-in AGAIN? All she said was "well, we haven't called anyone on the wait list yet". They didn't call anyone because no one could sign-in properly with their kiosk. Then I find out I'm 6th in line because at some point their system kicked in. I finally left -already late for work. Quest-you suck. I get to do this all over again tomorrow. read more

Easy to set up an appointment, on time and had the greatest technician named Rayon draw my blood. I didn't even feel the stick, nor did I bleed afterwards. He was an extremely competent and friendly technician. Highly recommend this staff member for advancement. read more

I went to Quest yesterday for bloodwork. DJ was awesome. I screwed up and forgot to make an appointment so the only appointment I could make was 2:30 in the afternoon. She asked if I was fasting, and I said Ha! No. I'm diabetic and it's 2:30. She laughed at that. She is very good at her job and the whole thing took a couple minutes. It takes a very special person to do a job like that. read more

If you want to experience medical INEPTNESS, you need not look any further then Quest Diagnostics on Nova in Port Orange! I was there today w/my wife. Her Dr. office called and faxed the lab request to them, about 1pm. When we showed up at 1:45 all the staff could do was try to tell us they could not do the labs. I tried to explain the situation to the "gentleman" on staff. His reply, without checking anything just standing there in the spot, "they did not call/talk to us!" "They can't because all calls go to our office in Virginia!" Take a card and schedule an appointment because we close at 3pm, so even if we had it, (he still had not checked, looked or attempted verify anything) the labs AIN'T going to happen today. I can only assume he missed the class on compassion and empathy when he was in Phlebotomy school! read more

Staff was incredibly rude. Made an appointment for 12:00pm, and got called at 12:03pm to come to the collection center. After standing there for 15 minutes, a woman shouted at me to go stand outside. Not only did I not appreciate being talked to in that manner, but my appointment didn't seem like an appointment at all, considering I was told to come inside for my collection, then pushed outside to wait for another 25 minutes. I'd definitely not recommend coming to this center, and will be taking my future collection needs elsewhere, and not suggesting this business. read more

I waiting in my vehicle for over an hour, then got a text saying to come in. I came in and continued to stand in the lobby waiting for 40+ minutes. They close at 3:30 so they locked the doors and read off a list of everyone's names that were still in the lobby waiting... my name was NOT on the list. They were so rude also. Told me to sign in on the iPad and I'd be at the end of the list. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! This place really really really needs help. Short staffed and long waits. No one at a desk to help you. So many older people trying to use the iPads to check in that have no one to answer questions other than the people piled up in the waiting room. Do not try to do a walk in, they will not see you. read more

After being a patient for years at another local lab, they eliminated many of their sites during the pandemic. After a sketchy June 2021 experience at my old lab, I sought out a new one and went with my local Quest. After a few months of waiting for a morning appointment due to having to fast, I finally got an 8am appointment. I was in and out of there in 15 minutes. My phlebotomist was lovely and I love the one-stop-shop approach and system. My out of pocket cost was 1/3 of what I expected. read more

Arrived 30 minutes early and was waiting for my appointment and 2 different people came in and were told they didn't take walk ins but then proceeded to take them back and draw their blood while I just sat there. When asking why they didn't take me and let them wait for an opening their response was I had an appointment and they didn't. I went to have lab work done at Quest this morning. There is a big sign on the door saying Face Masks Required. I was in the waiting room with several others and a woman walked in without a face mask. I told her they were required and she said she didn't bring one with her. She proceeded to check in her mother for an appt and I then told one of the staff members that the lady wasn't wearing a mask. The staff member said that they couldn't ask her to leave and allowed her to sit in the waiting room coughing and hacking without a face mask on. I felt extremely unsafe the entire time that I had to be in that environment. read more

first, trying to reach via phone a real person is impossibly frustrating. when i went for a blood draw, my doc's orders said "stat.". i was guaranteed by the tech that results would be faxed "stat.". Hours later I was told by both parties they didn't know the status of the order. today i stopped in and was rudely received by a tech who wouldn't answer my request to see my results, said all analysis was done in Tampa and kept referring me to a customer service card. No compassion, no help... no more. I'll go to LabCorps. read more

I've been going to this facility for many years and I have never had a bad experience and that's why I keep coming back. The staff is very pleasant and they get you in and out quickly. I would also like to add that I am a very hard stick and they always get me the first time with no issues. read more

I had an appointment today for 10am. I arrived at 9:55 am signed in and sat down, two patients without appointments were called before me. I then asked the tech if appointments matter and she replied back nasty yes, go sit down they will call you. She made a remark to the other tech and the other tech called another patient who came in after me. I will never go back to this facility again read more

I had blood drawn today in New Smyrna Beach. Whenever I need blood drawn, I request Treneice. She is extremely capable and caring. My veins are deep and many times in the past, phlebotomist have had difficulty finding what they considered to be good veins. Treneice found "the spot" without probing. I now am able to tell others where to draw the blood and no longer end up being bruised. She is the best! read more
