The accessibility ramp is blocked by garbage cans. There is no way to contact Quest or the owner of the building (1st Fl). Please bring someone with you that can walk up stairs or down stairs to assist you. DO NOT bring a large power chair u will not be able to get through the building's Glass Doors. (Quest door is narrow but the other side of the door can be opened by a person who can stand and pull the top and bottom pins to unlock the door. NOTE: Elevator is controlled by Owner on !st floor. As per owner of Building it will only be unlocked if you ask staff to use the elevator.. However, there on the 1st floor. Ramp is on basement level. I had a very good experience with Quest staff and they were very helpful. read more

The 5 stars are not for the establishment but for the Phlebotomist. I once before gave this place a bad review because the staff was so rude and not cooperative. But, I was there yesterday (only go there cause it's close to my house) and my phlebotomist was a lovely young woman name Angela. She greeted me with with a friendly smile, she was thorough putting my info into the computer and checking twice to make certain all the necessary tests were being ordered. She was extremely skillful drawing blood all the while maintaining pleasant conversation. ANGELA should be the poster child for this lab. read more

This place is on a very busy street, finding parking is difficult. The hours are very accommodating but you're better off making an appointment. If not, expect a long wait. The technicians are skillful and make the process as painless as possible. read more

My mom usually brings me to quest whenever I need to get my blood taken when she's busy and it usually takes them a couple of tries to pinpoint where but this one lady on Richmond her name is Yedis with like blonde hair near the end of her hair, first of all she couldn't pinpoint where my blood was and immediately went to the lower part a little after my elbow my forearm and I don't like getting my blood taken from there because it hurts and I told her that I don't like it taken from here and to take it from my hand or to check my other arm and she had a really nasty attitude saying no and she already found it and when I requested my mom to take my blood because she's really gentle and she's been a phlebotomist for 20-25 years and she said "no I've got two hands too" and like if she said no I would've understood it's probably a policy or something but overall I hated the experience, my arm is still numb and she had the nastiest attitude ever and she was absolutely really rude to my mom and she kept accidentally moving the needle when she was grabbing the all bottles. read more

The young girl with the dark hair who works at this location takes her anger out on the patients. She inserted the needle into my vein and there was very good blood return then she jabbed it in to the side of my vein. I was very talkative and I think it bothered her. She just wanted me to be quiet. I would steer clear and go to someone else because she purposely hurts you and will purposely use the biggest needle. Im sorry that I have to write this. Came in as a walk in at around 4:15pm. Basically one of the tech was very mean and telling me that I need to come like 1.5 hour early. I am here just for a urine drug test for preemployment purpose. I didn't give her any problem and I was able to collect my urine sample right away. If you hate your job, please quit your job and don't take your angry out of clients. read more

This is by far the most unprofessional quest diagnostics ever. One particular tech there is beyond rude!!! Literally watched her tell a poor old lady that she basically doesn't give a crap that she's there... or that she had an appointment. No one is there to help you. You have no idea where you are in line. No updates. It's horrible. Quest needs to step up their game! Horrible experience. Undercover boss... where are you!? 7 people max in waiting room "rule" yea well... there was a good 15 people in that tiny seating area. read more

I came into the waiting area and most seats were filled and there was a sign stating that they were understaffed, so I was worried I'd have to wait a long time. I came in at 11:00AM for an 11:15AM appointment. I waited for about 5-10 minutes, and I was called in. I'm so glad I made an appointment because there was little to no service and there were many children screaming and crying from the rooms. The employees were very friendly and efficient. I'm glad I gave this quest another chance because I was pleased (even if it was for blood work). read more

i wish i knew the names of the girls but one in particular a young girl with dark hair was insanely nasty. screaming at everyone in the waiting room and at the other phlebotomists. she threw me out of her room and gave me to another phlebotomist because i called her out on her behavior. the other lady was so nice and accommodating. whoever the nasty girl was was absolutely horrific and should not work in the medical field read more

Horrible! The phlebotomist was too sick to be at work around potentially ill patients. She coughed, sneezed and blew her nose while entering my info into the computer as she wore a face mask under her chin. She then started getting supplies without washing her hands first. I asked her to wash her hands and she REFUSED!! I reminded her that she coughed on her hands and blew her nose and she still REFUSED! read more

This place is horrible I've literally got here at 5 pm. The place closes at 7 pm I sat and waited to be seen which was 7:10pm

I've been going to this place for about a year and usually haven't had a problem (thanks to my overwhelming patience and understanding). However, this is the only Quest Diagnostics on Staten Island that stays open after 3pm (!?) and depending on who is working you can either get great service or very crappy service. Yesterday there were two phlebotomists working they spend 30 minutes trying to get a baby to stop crying rather than having one of the workers take the next patient. Then when it was my turn - the computer miraculously wasn't working. If you're going to have one branch that stays open normal hours you probably shouldn't have people who can't use the computers working there. The parking is also extremely limited and questionable in a sketchy part of Staten Island. The point is that I wasted 45 minutes of my time waiting for a blood test that would never come and there's no other decent option because the people who run Quest Diagnostics don't realize that blood tests need to be taken at specific times of the day and can't just be taken whenever their faulty business practices deem it necessary to be open. Stop wasting our time! read more

My mother, brother and I all went one day to get blood work done. We each had an appointment and the wait wasn't that bad. We were called in to the room and my mother had a few different doctors who needed blood work- I think there were about 5 scripts. My mother asked if she should split it up into two separate days of getting blood drawn, but the woman said it would be ok. The woman then proceeded to put the information from each script into the computer, which took AN HOUR to do so. We started talking to each other and the phlebotomist SHUSHED us. My mom went first. The woman pulled out two HANDFULS of vials to fill with blood. My mother said that she thought it would be too much, but NO NO NO it was already in the computer so she had to do it, of course. She prodded my moms arm for a good minute until she found a vein and once the blood started flowing everything was ok. After about 10 vials, my mom said that she was feeling very lightheaded and to please stop drawing blood... Before I knew it I watched my OWN MOTHER'S EYES roll back in her head and she passed out. Keep in mind, the woman was STILL DRAWING BLOOD. Afterwards, we had to call my grandparents to come pick up is because my mom couldn't drive after that! Overall, it was one of the worst experiences of my mother, brother and I's lives. Please try to go to a different lab to get your blood work done. read more
