I came on a weekday so not a long wait, hence an extra star. My issue is with the Phlebotomist taking my blood. I showed her the best arm with the biggest visible vein per my many previous experiences. She said great, put the needle into my arm and hit a nerve that sent a shooting pain through my arm and hand. Painful. She then proceeded to push the needle to draw the blood. I told her she hit a nerve and it's painful. No response. She finished and I left. The next day and so far days after, there's nerve pain shooting down my arm and thumb any time I put my arm down. It's a mild numbing feeling. This happens throughout the day. It better go away. Please re-train your phlebotomist. Never going to that place again. read more

Should be 0 stars if possible. Can't believe how incompetent the front desk is here. Since COVID, labcorp encourages people to make appointments online and use the site to check in and wait from their vehicle, and you get a text message when it's your turn. I waited 40minutes after checking in before getting suspicious something was up and walked up to the office for the receptionist to tell me that she had been calling for me in the waiting room over and over and cancelled my appointment. She acted as if I should have been in the waiting room and that I shouldn't have expected a text. She then tells me to just wait and refuses to look at my doctors order. I wait till my turn and go up to the window and with a single glance she mutters "she's even in the wrong place" Apparently they only do drug screens at this location for cabs and limousines even though it never specified this anywhere in the site. What about people who does not have a computer? Anyway, I have one. Well, their site does not work! OK, it happens, so I called their general number. Told the guy this story. I.C.Q. Search and Recovery is on YELP. WCCL/PathologyInc. owned by Laboratory Corporation of America failed to submit insurance claim w/in year of service. Collections contacted me 3 yrs after sevice. I.C.Q. Search and Recovery refused to speak w/ med. insurance. The letter addressed a charge for services in 2015 for the amount of $$$$. I found the bill I received. I had called the billing department with my medical insurance information in 2015 which PathologyInc/WCCL already had since they had submitted claims for other services in 2015. I never received another bill. after I called PathologhyInc/WCCL According to my then insurance, a claim was not submitted for the date in question. My insurance informed me if PathologyInc/WCCL did not submit within a year, they will not pay. My insurance requested that PathologyInc/WCCL resubmit with proof of timely filing; or have the PathologyInc/WCCL call my insurance. I called the collection agency I.C.Q., they refused to relay the information to PathologyInc/WCCL since the claim was not submitted within a year of service. I.C.Q. requested I submit the claim or pay the bill since it was my fault PathologyInc/WCCL did not submit the claim. I informed them I called PathologyInc/WCCL billing with my insurance information on date in 2015. I wrote the date and what information I gave them. I failed to write down the name of the operator. The I.C.Q. (Amber) said that I could be making up the information - without the name they cannot look at their 2015 logs to verify. Amber stated she will give me an extension of 60 days so GEHA could process the claim I SUBMIT. I did not bother to ask them to call GEHA at this point. The I.C.Q. (Amber) stated PathologyInc/WCCL sent 3 statements in all within 4 weeks of the service; the last one being my final notice which was received 25 days after service. I only received the last one and called the billing department with insurance info. Since I did not hear from them, I thought they were paid. My insurance was upset at how PathologyInc/WCCL and I.C.Q. are handling this issue. So I have and am filing complaints against Laboratory Corporation of America and I.C.Q. with the Better Business Bureau. bbb.org/consumer-complai... I am also filing with the Office of the Attorney General - fill out the Consumer Complaint Against A Business/Corporation Form against both Laboratory Corporation of America and I.C.Q. oag.ca.gov/sites/all/fil... I had a different, more positive experience than prior reviewers. This was my second time here with two kids and husband for blood and urine. We had a 10am and 10:30am and 11:30am appointment. We arrived at 9:45am and even though the waiting room was pretty packed, we were out by 10:45am. Receptionist was super friendly and nice. The phlebotomist was so kind, gentle and efficient with my kids. Totally recommend for parents with kids. read more

worst service you could get from a Health care provider, gave my blood for testing on may 11th, expecting the results within 2-3 days, no results were sent to the Dr. for a whole 3 weeks,I asked the Dr. to call and find out when he called He was told they can not find such patient (me) in their record., while my insurance co had already paid them for the testing and sent me a copy. I called Lab corp after 20 minutes wait I was able to talk to a human, they finally found me and told me they did not have Dr. Fax # when asked why they did not call the Dr. or get from health care provider base. answer... we are under heavy load cant find time to do all this.I gave them Dr. Fax # they said we will fax today, One more week has passed no results were sent as of today June 12th. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced! I arrived an hour before closing time for preregistered lab services, and the lab technician refused to perform the services because "it was too late." Her name is Cora. Even after I waited for her to see another patient, she still refused to perform the services, referring to a sign on the wall saying they had a specific cutoff time an hour before closing time. Meanwhile, on the lab corp website the cutoff time is closing time. Despite demonstrating this information and refused, basically saying it was not her problem. Yet how is it my problem that this office has created some arbitrary cutoff time for themselves with no notification apart from within their office? I am supposed to come to the office, waste time, gas, and money, only to find out when I get there? I will never return here again, and strongly recommend no one else does either. APPOINTMENTS ARE USELESS AT THIS AMBOY ROAD LABCORP LOCATION. Had an appointment for blood work, was fasting and am diabetic. I arrived 20 minutes early to my appointment and saw from the sign-in sheet that I was one of only 2 of the numerous people who had an appointment. I was taken 25 minutes past my appointment time. I was told that other people arrived before me and had to be seen because they arrived before me - even though I had an appointment, was early to my appointment, am diabetic and was fasting for the blood work. Phlebotomist was practically mute, probably upset with the disorganization and angry patients she has to deal with. Very disorganized place. read more
