This visit was with Al and she was downright professional but friendly. I have tiny veins and some techs have a hard time tracking mine down. She adroitly found one and was on target. I had labs done at Quest, and while I was there, the phlebotomist told me they don't perform the bile acid synthesis test and that I needed to go to Labcorp. After finishing my other tests, I left, went back to my doctor for new paperwork, and scheduled another appointment at Labcorp--only to later see that Quest had already run the bile acid synthesis test and posted the results in my app. This kind of miscommunication is unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress, time, and extra appointments. read more

Where do I start? The waiting room was filled and people had to wait outside of the lobby. No chairs. They don't staff a front desk anymore. I waited an hour even though I had an appointment. No one bothered to tell anyone that they were running late. About 45 minutes after my check-in time, I stood up and asked the person who opened the door to call the next patient, "how late are you running?" She said AN HOUR. They don't bother to even let you know they are running late, nor do they honor appointment times. I am returning to LABCORP. read more

I've used this location 3 times now at different times of day, and every visit involved a LONG wait (hour+), even with an appointment (which I always do). The waiting room is small, always standing room only and there are only kiosks to check in - there's never a receptionist manning the room. They'll tell you that they overbook and never have enough phlebotomists working. My attached pic shows every seat taken and to the right, a peek of standing people lining the wall - ugh. On the positive side: - there's lots of parking - this Quest is located in the Makena Medical Center Building, upstairs across from the Rancho Family Medical Group Office. - Chloe, my phlebotomist this last time, was amazing. I have extremely small veins and blood draws are usually very difficult and time-consuming. But Chloe was able to get a vein for 10 vials...with no bruising afterwards! And she was extremely personable, to boot. Although they'll tell you that appointments take priority, that's not what I observed with the many people coming and getting in. If they could properly staff, this could be a great facility. And if I could make an appointment directly with Chloe AND get in promptly, this would be 5-stars! read more

How do I even start? I arrived at 6:55, about 5 minutes before they even opened so I could be the first in line for standby. I had to be fasting and there was absolutely no appointments available. Well, I was first in line but they kept calling the last people to check in for STANDBY, they did it 3 times!!! I asked what was going on and they said their computer was having issues, even though I let them know MY name was the first. I waited 2 hours, they kept calling later appointments that were checked in even though it was not even the time yet. The standby list was extra long and I just felt so frustrated that my only option was to leave. It is the second time I come to this location and staff doesn't even bother to do their job right. This facility is the definition of efficiency at the cost of humanity. If you are technologically impaired, need help checking in, or have questions of any type, you're out of luck. There is literally no one there to help you. The waiting area consists of a dozen or so chairs and two check-in tablets. By their "I don't care" attitude, it's plainly obvious to see that the phlebotomists working there are overworked, understaffed, and ignored by whoever runs the place. The management has pushed them to the point where they no longer see patients as people so much as veins to have needles inserted into and moved on as quickly as possible. If I had a choice to go somewhere else, I would happily allow whomever owns the Jefferson branch of Quest Diagnostics to go permanently out of business read more

They need to have personnel working the front desk in addition to the kiosks like LabCorp does. This office depends on two automated kiosks with no one to assist a room full of patients. Not even a bathroom code is displayed. Patients have to flag someone down just to ask simple questions regarding the kiosk, confirming their lab orders were sent in or where to merely drop off specimens. While I was waiting, a patient came in unable to read the kiosk and no one to help them. I had a mishap with the scanner unable able to read my digital insurance card through my phone. I thought the kiosk completed my check in when it beeped however, it deleted my info I had inputted when it didn't scan properly. I waited for an hour before I flagged someone down to check where I might be on the standby list. She informed me I was not on the list at all and proceeded to check me in properly. She placed me on the wait list without my insurance card. I then asked if I can be moved up on the standby list since there were many other standbys that went ahead of me already that got there after me. She said she would put a sign on the door to call me next. Didn't happen -I was there for 2.5 hours. I attempted to talk to a couple of techs in between to no avail. Further, I was not there to have labs drawn, I was there to drop off a urine sample. I'm hoping the specimen isn't spoiled by the time they got to me. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask to have someone working the front to ensure patients are properly taken care of. read more

Their appointment system is dumb! Our appointment time is at 8:40 am and came there exactly at 8:50 am and they wont accept our time and put us on standby list. My son is a minor and his lab draw is a fasting one. Talked to one of the person that works there and they are not even accommodating at all!!! Mind you all of the people checked in are way ahead of the their appointment time and they couldnt accommodate my son!! This is stupid! If you can give this place 0 stars i would've! I waited for 2 hours, and when it was finally my turn, the appointment line was manipulated. I went from being next in line to suddenly being 3rd again. This is unfair and such a waste of my time. They have a display of names in the lobby and I wished I have taken a pictures of it. Our healthcare system has gone really bad, it didn't use to be this way. They should say it's appointment only. My child needed a test done between 7-9 am per the test requirements, there were no appointments during that window for weeks. I was told I could walk in. The computer says it should be about 30-60 minutes. They never saw us. We got in at 7:10 and waited until 9. There is no one you can talk to in person or over the phone just an automated answering machine and the people at quest do not help at all. Complete waste of time. read more

0 stars if it was possible, I scheduled an appointment for 10:20, checked in right on the dot. Only a tablet to check in with, no human. It confirmed that I was checked in. I heard a woman in the waiting room say she had been waiting 3 hours... well I waited an hour and never saw my name populate onto the screen, thinking there was just a lot of people ahead of me in line. The person working and grabbing the next patient came out and was calling names and no one she called was there (assuming they also waited hours and probably left) anyways she grabbed a list and started go through it to see who was there and who wasn't, she called my name and I was about 8-10 people down so at least I was on a list. Waited another 30 minutes and still never saw my name on the screen so I went up and asked if we really were checked in for an APPOINTMENT and not a walk in and she said if our name isn't on the screen then we didn't check in right. Everyone working at Quest has ALWAYS been courteous and helpful, BUT... I'm a senior and I tend to struggle with today's technology. So I was not looking forward to messing with that check-in screen and the usual long wait AGAIN. This morning, however, I got a text on my phone from Quest stating to click on the text on arrival. I did so 1 minute before my appointment. Instantly I got a message stating that I was checked-in and to have a seat!!! About 5 minutes later my name was called by a pleasant tech telling me to follow him. Within about 10 painless minutes, I was heading out the door! Every visit to Quest is a hassle and not a pleasant experience. Staff are rude and they don't seem to care about their patients. Whether it a bad attitude, delayed time regardless if you have an apt or not, missing referrals due to "their systems", it never fails. I wonder if bad reviews are even looked into and addressed? This was basic bloodwork that should've taken no more than two minutes. I had to leave because I had a work call at 9 AM What's the point of making appointment if they can't honor the time. Appointments is a priority and I don't understand why not take stand in in between some of these appointments. I have been to Quest Diagnostics several times in the past three years for Blood Work and have always waited for an hour or so as a walk in. They recommend setting appointments and even tho I have done this we have been informed by a tech you will have to wait another hour we are running late on appointments. Quest Diagonistics is a testing facility located on lower 79 ( Temecula Parkway). They take on line appointments as well as walk ins. The facilities are clean and well lit, the staff if friendly and wants to minimize the time it takes to get your test performed. I went in for blood work and was a walk in. It took me about 20 minutes from the time I walked in until I walked out. Their lab results are on time and very detailed. read more
