RUDEST garbage employees ever! There's not one ounce of customer care here. Everything is an inconvenience to the staff and they're extremely condescending. I came in as a walk-in because my doctor ordered a last minute blood draw that was time-sensitive, so no appointments were available. This location closes at 11am on Saturdays, so I made it a point to go within the last hour to avoid the crowd of fasting patients in the morning. I walked in and there was literally no one inside. There were 3 appointments listed within the next hour, but zero names on the waitlist and not one person in the waiting room. As I was checking in at the kiosk, one of the phlebotomists came out and said "do you have an appt? No? We won't see you today". I looked around confused and was like "but there's no one else here and you're still open". Long story short after providing some BS excuse, another staff member came out and pretty much yelled at me for even trying to do a walk-in. I told her it was a time sensitive blood draw that was ordered at the last minute, but she could care less. Instantly turned me away and just ran to the back. The women (and I only say that because I've only interacted with female staff here) are extremely rude and act like they want to be anywhere else but there. They also often have issues finding my vein and end up poking me more than once. Probably as incompetent as they are rude. read more

Had the worst experience lately with the Phlebotomist here. She was upset that she had to deal with two different doctors orders.She was extremely rude and was shouting in my face about how I need to coordinate the two lab orders with my two doctors, so that they dont duplicate each other in some tests. She also said with HIPPA they wont be able to share information, which doesn't sound right.. Meanwhile the two tests were on totally different dates to be completed. VERY RUDE, no direction, just kiosk to deal with. Not sure what's going on and if you don't complete the kiosk steps correctly this crazy rude nurse talks to you like your trash. Yes- we walked in without an appointment. We were on "Stand By" so they would get to my husband when they could. We were told stand by would be around an hour wait. Ugh. We waited 3 HOURS!!! I finally asked the lady how much longer it would be because my husband has been fasting since 8pm and he's diabetic. She couldn't care less. She snapped at me then explained that appointments are first then walk-ins. Another half hour went by and another lady popped her head out the door only to tell us that they were not able to take walk-ins today, sorry. Wow!!! I had such an awful experience here I ended up driving to Stockton to get my labs done. I really don't mind the kiosks you have to sign in with, it's the staff and the whole setup at the Tracy Quest that grinds my gears. I had lab orders that they couldn't find but somehow the Stockton one found the next day with no problem. Absolutely nothing changed between that day and the day I went to Stockton, I checked with my doctor. This leads me to believe their system is just bad or broken or something. Also the lab tech that couldn't find my orders was very impatient and condescending. She acted like it was my fault that they couldn't find the orders when it totally was not. Today was my first visit to Quest Diagnostics. First off, the business is kept very clean inside and looks very modern. I was surprised to see that the check in area was just kiosks. When you arrive definitely have your ID and insurance card ready to scan. I thankfully had made an appointment over the phone yesterday. As soon as I was preparing to sit down, a nice technician was already calling my name. It was a nice surprise, being called early. It was a nice environment, that there was only 1 patient per room and not like 5 or 6. The technician who did my blood draw today was Jeni F. She was polite, courteous, respectful, and experienced. It was a positive experience and definitely will go back to Quest Diagnostics of Tracy, when I need another blood test. 5 out 5 stars. read more

It was very easy to set up my appointment via app. My tech was incredibly kind, patient and professional. Even the other clientele waiting in the lobby were friendly. I come here couple times a year and it feels like they change personal pretty often. I have baby veins so I know it is difficult to look for a good vein. The pokes do not bother me, it's looking for the vein once I'm already poked (Feels like a sword fight). I've gotten bruises from here a couple times every time when it's someone new to me. When it comes to someone new I always tell them where I have a good vein. Some listen and some don't! Last time I went it was the second time this individual has drawn blood from me. I did remind her that I have a good vein on my right arm but it's pretty deep. She totally went the to my left arm and tried looking for a good vein. She did have trouble looking for it so went to the side and drew blood from there. She did have trouble finding the vein once the needle was there. Once again, she was moving the needle all over the place to find it. Luckily this time was once poke but it seemed like it took awhile. Something positive about this location is the waiting time is not long in my opinion. So you get helped pretty quick. read more

I went into Quest today after 6mo and seen such a different atmosphere! I am very pleased with how my visit was today. As I walked in Jenni & Ashley greeted me into the office, letting me know they would be right with me. Ashley helped me check in a sample I was dropping off for a family friend, she took all the information and payment. They both told me to have a great day and stay safe! I asked what tests I was going to have done and she said "a lot" then I asked again and she said "your doctor should've gone over this with you"...very rude and she just wanted me to sit down. I did not feel confident at all about going in to get tests done with them. They called me in to get my lab work done and the guy said that I didn't drink enough water...he started poking me and I felt like my arm was not in the right position, he didn't do anything to fix it and just started. I took my infant for her first blood test. Check in was smooth and wait time was short. I went with my mom & husband for support. The older white lady was rude to us before we even started. My mom stood back to give them space and my husband held up Ms Rachel on his phone as a distraction. Another older white lady came to assist and another grabbed my husbands arm & yelled at him because she thought he was recording, which he clearly was not and we told her we weren't. Then they told both of them to move back further even though there was lots of space and they were now up against the wall. The blood test went well, however when my baby was crying, my mom offered her a lick from her lollipop. They then proceeded to yell at my mom for doing that. Even though she was out of the way and it was a helpful distraction to keep her still. As my husband held up Ms Rachel on his phone they yelled again about recording and at that point he just shut it off and we kept quiet because there was no point in explaining ourselves to these miserable women. Full waiting room, hardly any place to sit. Cellphone check-in did not work, Kiosk for check-in did not work. The last time I was there I tried to catch an open door to get to someone who worked there to make sure they had my order. A waiting patient tried to stop me and she shoved me and closed the door on me (I am 79). Of course there is no help or anyone to complain to. I left and vowed to never go back to that hell-hole. Unfortunately it is a long arduous drive to Livermore so I decided to try again. So this time, I requested help from a lady that worked there who was in the waiting room getting another client. She helped me check in. So I waited and realized it may be a while. Once more I was able to get another lady and explained I was doing a urine test and I have overactive bladder and needed to go soon. She allowed me in to do the sample but I still had to go out to the waiting room again for another 45 minutes. Now four days later my doctor contacted me and told me they did NOT culture the sample and I have to go somewhere and do it again. Obviously it won't be Quest. They closed all but one location in Tracy so they are understaffed and overwhelmed. Except for the two nice employees who helped me I would be giving a zero not one star. I went in there today as a walk-in. When you sign in the computer asks you if you have and appointment or if you are a walk-in. I have been trying to get into the place for several months because my mother is dying and then I threw out my back making it impossible for me to ride in a car for quite some time. When I mentioned the fact that I had been trying to get in there for quite some time the person that took my blood began berating me because I was a walk-in. She told me that they don't take walk-ins and that next time if I don't have an appointment I will not be seen. Why then do they even have the question on their sign in computer. I have never been treated so badly by any so-called member of any health organization. She was entirely rude and mean, and when I did explain that it had nothing to do with having an appointment or not there was no apology whatsoever. Some people do not belong in this kind of a profession, and she was a shining example of exactly that kind of person. Based on my visit today March 1st 2021. I have been coming here for over 10 years now. I have never had such horrible services then I had today. come to find out the girl who was snotty and completely rude was a floater she goes where she's needed. Her name is Michelle. She is not nice to people with disabilities. She actually chuckled or frustrated sigh when I couldn't see the chicken screen and pressed a different button that I should have I guess? I was there the week before and the girl told me to push any button. I am blind so I did that.. She made me go next door to ask my doctor to change his order. She was just so incredibly rude. When I came back and started to tell the other girl that was super nice to me and was the one helpitng me at this point in time, what the doctors ladies in the office said she gave me the dirtiest look, and said excuse me really loud.... I am talking to her and pointed at the gir that was helping me enrolled her eyesl. I mean so much for professionalism. I complain to the girl the girl was super sweet I did not get your name sadly because she was amazing! I just proceeded to ask who this woman was because I was going to throw her under the bus and complain. I have never in my entire life had personnel at a quest laboratory be so rude. And then I get in a survey as soon as I got home. Of course I filled it out and I let them know how unkind and unhelpful and rude she was. The nice girl told me that she helped out a woman earlier that couldn't walk very well and went to the doctor next door and ask them a question on her behalf. She told me Michelle should have handled it different. She gave me a card and said I can call the number on the back. It could have been handled differently it shouldn't have been handled at all nobody should be that rude! If you don't like your job get another one! Refused to take my son because he had no ID, yet they take 5 year olds no problem. He showed DMV ID printout, school ID, insurance card, birth certificate, SSN, even proofs of residence and still refused him. He now is unable to obtain employment because they refused to take him. As for me, they keep sending me bills the VA is in charge of. They're trying to get doubly paid. Disgraceful how they treat patients. I will never use their services again. read more
