We have been coming to this urgent care for years. But when we came in today, we were told that our insurance is accepted but because our medical group is a different branch of Sutter (PAMF vs. Sutter Gould, we have to pay out of pocket. We were told we would have to pay the $300+ bill and take it up with insurance. We were given the option of going the ER. This doesn't make sense. Why would our medical group would impact being seen at an URGENT CARE? I get if you're seeing a doctor and it's not in the medical group I, but this is an URGENT CARE! We had to drive 35 minutes away to be seen at another urgent care (non-sutter) and there were able to see is just fine. What a terrible experience. read more

My experience was GREAT!!! staff was courteous. Doctor was very nice and the weight was very short. I did go early in the morning so that I can make sure to be there if I had to wait a long time. We were driving through town when around 9 am our adult daughter started feeling her poison oak take hold so we stopped here for a shot. We were told an hour and a half wait..we spent three hours out in the waiting room and then she waited over an hour in the back after being told there were "two people ahead of you". If they would have told us 3-4 hours when we arrived, we'd have gone some place else. Never experienced anything like this before. Would absolutely not recommend this "urgent care" facility. PS the staff members we experienced were friendly. We had no issues with them at all. This is all about their poor staffing numbers (?) or is it that the staff checking people in had no idea they are giving out woefully incorrect length of time info??? i checked in around 9:30 am needing possible tetinus shot after getting arm all scratched up last night. since i couldn't be 100% positive if i've had a tetanius shot within the last 10 years. only 1 person was in waiting room when i checked in. i thought wow i might actually get treatment fairly fast on getting my shot. we are both still waiting. i havent seen or heard any patient called back for treatment. its around 11:10 am now the waiting room seems to be filling up. not very happy with the situation. considering just going home and try to get appointment online rather then just sitting here. i could understand if patients actually were being called back into a room for treatment. read more

We come here for urgent needs and we never have problems. Staff upon check in are always friendly and helpful. Not sure if so because I was a previous employee in the Oakland location but they treat all patients that I see fairly. Providers are always kind, asking questions and giving proper and understandable advice. Only reason for 4 starts is the MA that checked called us in on Monday 9/9/24 around 9:45 AM. She took vitals and put us in a room. I worked in hospital/medical office setting so if I see something that doesn't look right - I'll say something. Upon entering the room, there was no sheet covering the bed so I mentioned to her and she stated "we don't use paper, we just wipe down the bed." I thought ok, that's new. Dr came in, saw us and ordered an X-ray (I'm so thankful) and it didn't take long (appreciate that very much) and walking through the office to the X-ray room-the other rooms had paper to cover beds. Ok, now I'm upset. Didn't see the MA that roomed us but she didn't have lie and just cover the bed. Reason for 4 stars. Overall, great patient care. read more

Very disappointed with Sutter Tracy Urgent care. We went on a Sunday at 3pm because online it says it closed at 5pm. We walked up to the door and the security guard said they were closed for the rest of the day. My daughter and I were in severe pain from strep throat and ended up getting seen elsewhere thank goodness. This review is not about the people who work here (who I've had great experiences with), it is about the ridiculously outdated COVID screening policy from the height of the pandemic that inexplicably remains in place. Upon arrival at the urgent care, you will be asked a series of questions about the symptoms you've been experiencing, and if you answer "yes" to any of about a dozen questions which could even remotely be caused by COVID, you'll be assumed to be COVID-positive and denied care. Yesterday, we had a sick 5-year-old who couldn't keep food down and brought him to the urgent care. The minute I answered yes to the "vomiting" question they said he couldn't be seen. They told us to go back home and call the number for their "respiratory clinic" but advised us that we probably wouldn't be able to be seen that same day, but if it was bad enough we could go to the ER (and wait 6 hours behind the drug seekers, etc... no thanks.) He's still sick today, so we are heading west over the Altamont in Monday morning commute traffic to the Sutter Pediatric Urgent Care clinic in Dublin, which we've been told doesn't have these outdated, medically unjustified COVID policies in place. Maybe today our son can finally receive the care he should have received yesterday in Tracy. read more

Went in with my daughter and the check in process was unbelievable. The person helping me (lanisha) I believe her name was could not figure out my insurance. Although she tried to help me it was evident she had no clue what she was doing. She asked her coworker (angel) for help once he was done checking in his patient but he just briefly tapped on the screen and continued checking in other patient instead of helping. It could have been a quick fix but he refused the help. His dementia was super condescending and rude. I asked if there was a manger or someone else on sight that could help check us in to where they both declined. I grew frustrated as I arrived at 4 and it was 4:45 and I still had not been checked in and they had already checked in 6 other people. They both said if I had a number I could call and verify myself.. but that's literally their job.. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere but I do not recommend and will not be going back. I also filed a complain through the department of health already for other reasons being they were turning away patients way before their lab closed. Seems like they need to improve training at this facility because the front desk personal are so illiterate. read more

The hospitality is amazing and they are so kind. My child's throat was extremely in pain. He texted me right after school was over that his throat has been in pain all day. I took him to the Urgent Care to get a check up. Doctor Kruger was very informative and the nurses were so kind they were even cheering my son up. The smiles and the laughter on his face warmed my heart. They immediately asked him for his symptoms and did some tests on him. After that, they instantly prescribed him some medicine for his sickness. After we walked out, he was so happy because the process was smooth and he didn't even complain once. False advertising. They're not an urgent care respiratory clinic, I presented in obvious severe respiratory distress like about to faint due to my asthma and allergies on a windy day in Tracy, right? Instead of taking me right in they gave me grief about not wearing my mask properly and turned me away. Said the "urgent care" was fully booked with appointments. I went in today to see if I could get retested for something because the urgent care doctor made a not on it on the sutter health application. I went in and the lady in the front desk was being super loud and wasn't really understanding what I was saying. Then she was loudly saying the things I was there for. I forgot to mention my first visit on 1-18-22 . For some reason they put me in an office . I was in so much pain I didn't ask why. No gown nothing just say on the wheel chair. The doctors assistant just barely looked at my feet and my lower legs. They did take an X-ray of my left shoulder why not my swollen knees I don't know. I was given water pills because my legs are swollen. So with the pain of my arthritis had to get up go to the bathroom all night and to sit on the toilet was so difficult I had to grab on the edge of the sink to get out of the toilet. Now my right shoulder is so painful. So I could barely walk I peed in my pjs so many times because I couldn't get to the toilet on time. My legs are so swollen because of my arthritis on my knees. read more

I've been here several times and 2 of the visits have prompted me not return. I came here twice with no problems after this location opened. My 3rd visit was that my 4 yo had come down with strep and needed medication. As I was checking in, my son was denied due to my coverage and the medical group I was under. Mind you, I've come here before and never had an issue with my coverage nor did it change. I informed the front desk who still apologized and denied my son from being seen. I decided to drive all the way to Dublin where there's an urgent care at our medical group. As I was already entering the Altamont, the office called me back to apologize and asked that I come back in as there was mistake. I refused and decided to file a complaint, which I did. I gave them another shot recently for myself. During this 2nd incident, I had to get bloodwork done and started to take antibiotics due to their diagnosis. I had shown my sister, who is an NP, my first test results which lead to my diagnosis and said there were no signs of anything, no reason to be on antibiotics. In 2 days, I received a voicemail from the DR who informed me that my culture also showed nothing and that I was misdiagnosed. Hmmmm... so the bloodwork and 5 days of antibiotics weren't necessary?? read more

We were outside, it was very hot (it was April 1st), and my father was also waiting outside. I am honestly impressed with the quality of care i recieved at Sutter Tracy community Hospital. The key is to give the staff a break. What i mean by this is to go in without the attitude and demands. Think about how they are just like you and they don't make the rules. Take the attitude you may give to the staff at urgent care and give it to city hall or congress if you care so much right? The truth is that they can only do what is necessary and available therefore it should be obvious to show respect and greatfulness. I'm currently on what i believe is called Covered California through the Obama Care act and was told that the hospitals only recover half of the expenses of a visit of someone with such insurance. That being said i was very thankful for what kind of care I was given at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital. After a couple months dealing with Community Medical Center Family Practice and having to wait a month to be seen for my issues along with being treated like crud i am thankful to have the help from Sutter Tracy hospital. read more

I have been here twice and had a bad experience with the same receptionist, Roxanne. She is rude, has no empathy, no personality and not pleasant to interact with. The first time I came for a visit it was a basic check in. She talks very direct to you as if you work there and should already know all of Sutters processes and when you don't; she looks at you like your stupid. The second time I came for urgent care and she seems like she just does not want to be bothered when you first approach the counter. Very rude and condescending when explaining things to you and has no personality what so ever. I hope all of Sutter employees understand that their job is interacting with people and they should do so in a friendly manner with some compassion. Update: Tuesday came around and after waiting 5 days fir someone to contact me with my results, I decided to go to the urgent care to speak to someone in person. When I told the person checking patients in at the fron door, ahe refused to let me in and gave me a number to call, a number that they miraculously answered right away. Turns out they had my results aince Saturday, and no one had a good reason as to why I didn't get a call. 5 days!! I called everyday, 5 days they told me my results were pending!!!! UNFREAKEN BELIEVABLE and UNACCEPTABLE! So yes, Heroes are working tirelessly during this pandemic but they don't work at sutter health. read more

I called her back to tell her I didn't apréciate her hanging on me and her rudeness. since I was never rude or unkind to her to treat me that way. This place is a complete rip-off, I'm VERY dissatisfied with the service I was provided and ultimately charged an arm and a leg for. Apparently Sutter Health is supposed to be a not-for-profit organization... which I find completely funny considering a "wrist wrap" they charged me $500 for is only $30 on Amazon.com.... the SAME EXACT manufacturer and brand. That's UNETHICAL, at best. So, to claim you are not-for-profit is a complete LIE. My insurance company declined paying for the $500 wrist wrap so it is ultimately supposed to come out of my pocket. I contacted their office to negotiate returning the device since it didn't work for me and gave me a blister the one time I used it, and the care center supervisor (Kristen Sloan) told that it was a "medical device" that was recommended by my primary care provider for my pain so I can't return it. Unfortunately I cannot afford a $500 "device." I plan on escalating my issue to another supervisor, and sending a letter to their Board of Directors. This place is ridiculous. I'd avoid the Tracy facility at all costs (no pun intended). Even their doctors have bad reviews, that should tell you something. I've already taken my business to Modesto instead, it's an extra 20+ miles for me, but worth it not to deal with this place and it's people. read more

I can't believe this place. Went in on Sunday with my 10 month old. He had covid like symptoms minus a fever. I've attempted to call so many times(4x)with no results to the test they swabbed for, I asked for help to link my child to my chart so I can review online. They keep saying the same thing , can your dr leave a detailed voicemail YES. We will be giving you a call back! And no nothing I haven't gotten anything! Not to mention I was thee ONLY car in parking lot and they took FOREVER as the baby screams his head off! This place is NOT AN URGENT care anymore. It's by appointment only and they suck ! STILL WAITING FOR RESULTS ! terrible! We all tested negative from the test we took the next day at the school nearby with results the next day. My husband is having extreme respiratory issues now and we sent him to the other urgent care in town that has awesome reviews!
