While it's a shame that I simply cannot come close to saying any of the same for Cooper hospital in Camden NJ, I do prey for anyone ending up there for testing or anything else and prey some of the employees there get their heads checked and straightened out, however Cooper Voorhees as far Oncology or any other services is where you want to be if unfortunately you need such services. Save yourself the pain, the stress, and the tears of the foul treatment people receive at Virtua /Penn, and go straight to Cooper Voorhees, and let your worries fade away at least a bit.

Unfortunately, this was my first negative experience with the care I received following a procedure Dr.Patel and the anesthesiologist were both excellent. They were professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Patel was also informed of the negative encounter I experienced afterward and was very supportive and responsive to my concerns, which I greatly appreciated While I was in the PACU recovering from my procedure, Nurse Jean attempted to assist me with getting up. I informed her that my arm was hurting and that I was unable to move my left arm\. Despite expressing my pain and concerns, I felt that my concerns were disregarded, and she continued insisting that I sit up in a manner that I experienced as aggressive and rude. I directly informed Nurse Jean that I felt she was being aggressive and rude and requested assistance from another nurse. Given that I had just undergone a procedure and was experiencing pain and difficulty moving my arm, I expected my concerns to be acknowledged and handled with greater patience, care, and compassion. Following this encounter, Nurse Jen, who assisted me in the Rejuvenation/Recovery area of the PACU, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided assistance. Both were very professional, attentive, compassionate, and respectful. I sincerely appreciate the care and professionalism they demonstrated following such an upsetting experience. Having received care at the Endo Center since 2012 without a negative experience like this, I was particularly disappointed by this encounter. I want to emphasize that the remainder of the staff, including the front desk staff, Dr. Patel, the anesthesiologist, Nurse Jen, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided excellent and professional care. I hope my concerns regarding my interaction with Nurse Jean are taken seriously and appropriately reviewed so that patients recovering from procedures are listened to and treated with patience, respect, and compassion, particularly when they communicate that they are experiencing pain or difficulty moving.

After a routine check up with my doctor, I was told I needed an X-ray. I decided I wanted to get it…read moredone right away, so I looked up South Jersey Radiology and saw that the Voorhees location took walk-ins up to 8:30 PM (weekdays). The office was easy to spot, well lit with lots of signage and ample parking. Upon entering the office I was welcomed by the front desk person, Gary. Gary was very friendly and quickly went through all my paperwork, provided me with a black folder and told me to take a seat. The waiting room/ lobby was huge and had plenty of seating. I only had to spend a short time here, as I was taken back within 10 minutes of my arrival. I was brought to a small room and given a paper gown. The X-Ray technician, Brain, then came and walked me back to the X-Ray room. Brain was beyond friendly and made it feel like I was catching up with a friend rather than getting an x-ray. Whenever I need radiology work- I will be coming here. Great staff, clean office, and quick service- what more could anyone want from a Radiology office? TIP: Your results will be sent to your doctor, but you can ask for a copy of your x-ray. The copy will be provided on a disk which you can view on your computer.

I tried calling back but didn't have the drive to get back in the long queue considering the amount of pain I was in. I then checked on their website and found an appointment available on the night I wanted in another location. Unfortunately, their website booking wouldn't work after several attempts so I ended up leaving a voicemail requesting that time. Eventually, I spoke to a lady who refused to give me that time and said someone else took it. Therefore, I was forced to drive out to Voorhees while feeling the effects of painkillers. Super awesome and safe. I felt pretty awful and annoyed upon arrival. The lady at the front desk was nice enough and didn't take too long to check me in. Eventually I was brought back and told to change. They then stuck me in a chair for at least 15 minutes while someone else finished their test. I find that practice SO annoying. Maybe it makes the process more convenient for them, but it's so uncomfortable for the patient. The test itself was fine, though the tech didn't offer to help me sit up when I struggled. I guess that's not part of their job. This location is clean and new, and it's good if you live near Voorhees. I just found the whole trip to be a hassle.

I did not feel comfortable at that point receiving any medical attention from the staff. I was honestly in shock and just walked out. I went to Atlantic Care Express in Berlin and the staff was amazing. I ended up needing to be given steroids to help the swelling in my throat go down so that I could breathe. I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable, I did not feel safe. This was not the first time I've received attitude upon entering this place, I will not be returning for any medical emergencies.

I called to make an appointment and found out they had an appointment 2 days out at their Marlton location. I had to admit. The Yelp and Google reviews had me worried about snarky staff and long waits. I arrived early. They are bottom floor in the Rothman Institute building. Suite 101. I checked in with no hassle. I was there about 20 minutes early and I think I was taken back five minutes after my appointment time, so not too bad. The staff member (unfortunately don't recall her name!) was great and had me in and out of the xray room in about 15/20 minutes. Then I had to wait for a cd copy in the lobby but it only took 10 ish minutes or so.
