I will never come back! Staff is rude and I have been on a wait list for 4 hours and they can't take time to verify my place or if it got wait listed! I could have had the 10 am appointment but didn't because I thought wait list would be faster! Now it's 12! Wasted day and rude staff. They knew they had a computer glitch and one verified I was on the list but now almost 5 hours later. They say I must have done it wrong, regardless that it was verified earlier and now nothing! Staff is rude and impatient when the problem is on their side, and everyone else pays for it! Crappy place to go and be mistreated!

    Bruised arm

I went in to get some lab results and asked the technician to use a baby needle. She joked and called it a 'chubby grandma needle,' and now, three days later, my arm is still bruised from it. Honestly her demeanor and sarcasm made me very uncomfortable.

They won't talk to you here.

Listen to all the reviews!! I should've checked before I came here. DO NOT WALK IN HERE. You'll wait hours and when you have to fast and drank a ton of water to give a urine sample, that's PAINFUL. The care quality is horrible. They literally don't care and don't mind if you see them not caring. They blocked out the window and locked the door so they don't have to answer questions. See picture. Please someone create another company to compete with these horrible humans!

It is better if you make an appointment but I still had to wait about 10 minutes. So I'm not that impressed. Not sure how long walk-in service was today. The people are nice and friendly. Their only saving grace. I had a "liquid" test, but no trash can in the bathroom? Come on people. Do you want all that hazardous waste piling up? Yuck! Unsanitary and unsatisfactory.

My mom had appointment with this location for 12:30 pm and we got there 12:34 pm and they make her wait for 2 hours ! My Mom is senior and being fast that long is not healthy and easy for her at all ! Staff were so rude. I am not recommending this location at all.

This is the arm that she had to work with.

I'm an the toughest stick. I have no vanes. I have scars from latex burns so my arms are almost impossible . I've been to quest in many places. The tech took time to deal with me and the problems I come with. Latex free , keloid's in both arms , very dehydrated, (Hertie) the technician Got my blood done . ( Hertie ) has gotten my blood draws done and put a smile and happy tears on my face . Remember these techs risk there lives . Exp now since Covid 19 and now Covid is back . Make appointments, ware a mask and say thank you.

Nobody was at reception for more than 15 minutes so I had to leave my samples and hope for the best they got them.

Made an appointment for 12pm I arrived at 1148. Checked in on their kiosk which was super easy, I just scanned my barcode that was sent to me by email. A male called my name asked for confirmation number and then I waited to be called. I was in by 12:02 pm about 2 mins after my scheduled appointment. I'd say that's amazing in my book. Staff was nice, explained the process of what I needed to do and took care of business. I was in and out by 1215 ish the latest. I had planned to be there for an hour and so I cleared my schedule from 12 to 1. Now I had all this time to kill and decided to just run more errands. So I went to the DMV. I was impressed. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk for several minutes. When a staff member finally appeared, I was simply directed to use the kiosk, despite having questions that required assistance. During my visit, I also observed elderly and disabled patients who appeared to need help checking in, yet they were also directed to the kiosk with little to no assistance. After checking in, I waited approximately 20 minutes before being called. The employee who assisted me displayed some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered in a medical setting. Her tone was stern, dismissive, and unwelcoming from start to finish. I understand that drug testing requires specific procedures, but there is a significant difference between enforcing procedures and treating people with respect. Throughout the process, I felt as though I was being treated like a suspected criminal rather than a professional completing a routine employment requirement. Every instruction was delivered with an unnecessarily harsh tone, and the overall interaction left me feeling degraded and uncomfortable. Regardless of whether someone is taking a pre-employment screening, a court-ordered test, or any other medical test, patients deserve to be treated with dignity and basic courtesy. The entire experience felt cold, impersonal, and hostile. If I had a choice, I would not return to this location and would not recommend it to others. Unfortunately, this location was assigned by my employer. This was easily the worst experience I have had in a healthcare-related setting, and I hope Labcorp takes steps to improve both its customer service and patient experience.

Better plan to go to some other hospital if you're immunocompromised. That's only after spending 1-3 days in the er beds waiting for your partial room upstairs. Doctors are typical doctors they do what's convenient for them not you. I was literally admitted for pain control and they never controlled my pain and when I finally got a plan that at least worked ENOUGH it made sense to stay for help they IMMEDIATELY tapered me in less than a day. I left in horrifying pain because there was absolutely no reason to be in pain in this disgusting old dingy hospital when I could feel the same way at home in my bed with my pets and my things. Its only appropriate these Drs offices have a lab nearby to draw blood and collect specimens. United West Lab is one of two labs that I know in the 7230-Medical Ctr Drive building. UWL is: -on 3rd floor -has a tiny, awkwardly shaped, black n white checkered wait area -Staff is chipper -Staff is not as fast as Quest diagnostics (that has 10x the flow of patients) located in the same building, 3 floors up. -Note: They DO answer their phone, unlike Quest. I called after closing time, surprised that they answered and were genuinely nice. For adults it looks the blood draws are fast with little to no wait. For little ones, on the other hand, they didn't have the proper tools to accomplish a simple blood draw for a potassium check. United West Lab must be associated with the hospital--West Hills Medical Center because they called them to ask what they needed to use on a baby and then ran over to pick up what they needed (a heel stick) to finish the job. Reason for a 3 star review-- our labwork that was stat (test done immediately) was not a good draw, needed a re-do, so we wasted an hour, yes an hour. Plus we needed to go to another lab and start over. And...they got blood on our new car seat :/ For adults this place be convenient but for the little shoot for Children's Lab in Encino, if your insurance allows it. They are experienced as they only draw from kids.

I've spent enough time in hospitals over the years to know that kindness can sometimes feel like a limited resource. Walking into West Hills Hospital, I honestly expected good medical care. What I didn't expect was to meet one of the most compassionate, respectful, and genuinely invested medical teams I've ever encountered. Dr. Namavar, the nurses, the social workers--every single person we met treated not only our family, but our loved one struggling with addiction, with a level of dignity and respect that frankly brought us to tears. Addiction carries so much stigma, yet not once did anyone make him feel like "just another addict." They saw a human being. That matters more than words can express. Our family had a very specific plan to safely transition him from the hospital directly into a rehabilitation facility. Every concern we had was heard. Every request was taken seriously. The team coordinated with the rehabilitation center, communicated with us every step of the way, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Instead of making us feel like difficult family members, they made us feel like partners in his care. Then there was Dr. Namavar. I've met a lot of physicians. I've never met one quite like him. He sat down--not because he had to, but because he wanted to--and shared his own personal experiences with loss and drug overdoses. He wasn't reading from a script or giving a lecture. He was connecting with another human being. You could actually see the walls come down in the room. It was one of the most genuine moments I've ever witnessed between a physician and a patient. To the nurses: thank you for treating us like family. To the social workers: thank you for fighting just as hard for the next step as you did for the one we were in. To Dr. Namavar: thank you for reminding us that medicine is as much about the heart as it is about science. And finally... this is probably the weirdest compliment I've ever written, but if life ever decides to throw another medical emergency my way, I sincerely hope it has the courtesy to happen somewhere near West Hills Hospital. That's how much confidence you've given me. You didn't just care for a patient. You cared for an entire family. Thank you for giving us hope when we needed it most.
