I had a package full of Christmas cards shipped to my son in Brazil. The guy at this location filled out the commercial invoice incorrectly to say I shipped 1 Christmas card at a total value of $5, when, in fact, I shipped 29 cards from family members in the same package. Customs received the package and opened it because it looked suspicious. There was obviously something more in the package that 1 Christmas card. They counted all the cards and assessed a value of $5 for each card. The invoice should have been filled out to say 29 cards at $0.17/card for a total package value of $5. So, instead I was charged duty and taxes on a recalculated value of $145 for cards!! What did I pay?? $171 for express shipping, which was ok, and then $171 in duty & taxes which was absolutely wrong and not ok!! The Fed Ex Office in Brazil that received the package even agreed with the recipient that this error was made in the US by the shipping office on West Lane Rd. Will anyone do anything about it?? Nope!! Not a damn thing. Never again will I ship with Fed Ex because they take no responsibility for their very clear mistakes. And do they care if their error costs the customer money, nope. The very rude CSR I talked to in the International Revenue Department said if I dispute the transaction with my credit card company that they won't care, they will just mail a bill to my house. Classy Fed Ex. I will tell this story to everyone I know so they don't have the misfortune of shipping with such a shitty company.

I paid for the shipping, received a receipt with a tracking number, and assumed there would be no issues. Marshall called me at 11:00 a.m. to inform me that the package had yet to be delivered. UPS reported they could not deliver it because the final destination was not open. I contacted the company I was shipping to and verified that they in deed received packages from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. I relayed this information to Marshall. Throughout the day, Marshall personally called me at least five times, providing me with detailed updates on the progress of my package. Ultimately, the problem was resolved because of Marshall's efforts. This level of care and attention sets Roscoe Pack & Mail apart and has set a new standard for customer service for all companies. After this experience, I can confidently say that I will not use another shipping company. The trust and security I feel with Roscoe Pack & Mail is unparalleled.

This location is absolutely useless. if you want to drop off an Amazon return using their kiosk, then it's perfect. Other than that, drive over to E. State. I went there a couple of days ago with exactly what I'd walked in with in March 28th at this location and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The employees at this location have no interest in doing their job. AT ALL. a complete waste of my time and energy. I will not go back there for any reason, as I would rather drive out of my way to do business at a store I know will be helpful if I need assistance.** I hope this email reaches the store manager and then also the franchise owner. I have been coming to your location for several years now for various needs and have always experienced helpful employees while there. On Saturday March 28, 2026, some time between 12 and 1pm. The employee whose counter I was called to was Aurora. I had multiple items I had carried into your store. Unfortunately, a medical condition is forcing me to leave a job behind and it's time to return all of the equipment. I was sent an email with instructions that I followed when I came into the store. From the moment I walked up to the counter I felt as though I was an inconvenience to Aurora. She saw me standing with my 10 year old daughter at the island counter with my pile of items, and when I walked up to her explaining what I needed she asked me if what I had placed on the counter was all of the items. I said no, and helped my daughter bring what was already inside to the counter, then asked her to go to the car and grab the last two things. The email from my company indicated that I should bring the items in and then show the QR codes attached to the email to the UPS employee in order to ensure I had each item to be packed. I did as instructed. Aurora became agitated when she scanned the code, telling me that it didn't tell her anything. Insisting that she couldn't help me and there wasn't anything she could do because the code didn't tell her anything. I explained to her that I was following the instructions in the email word for word, and if she wanted she could read them herself to see if I'd missed something. Her response was curt and rude as she said "No, I'm NOT reading your email." I said, " Okay, then what would the next step be?" She told me she didn't know because the codes did not tell her anything and she cannot help me, all the while continuing to treat me with rudeness and disrespect without reason. At this time I confronted her by asking if there is a reason she had been giving me a bad attitude from the moment I walked up to the counter? She responded no. She attempted to correct her behavior but failed. She scanned one of the QR codes again, again disrespectfully told me she can't do anything, see anything or help me and she doesn't know what I expect her to do. At this point I had had enough, she had a bad attitude, adopted a seriously disrespectful tone in an increased volume and all in front of my daughter. I chose to pack my equipment up as best I could. I let Aurora know that I did not appreciate the way she treated me the entire time I was at the counter, de as though I was an inconvenience in her day, being talked to so disrespectfully and being shown no regard or assistance in finding a solution to the issue at hand. I remained calm as my child was still present. We walked out with our things in our arms and put them back in our car. It was a complete waste of our time, a significant amount of time. And also of my energy. It took me days to get everything gathered and carried to my car due to my chronic illness and it flaring up due to the weather changes we've been experiencing. I had to take it out of my car again as we had a trip to my parents' planned for my daughter's spring break. It seems petty or small, but for someone who deals with chronic illness, this type of interaction snowballs my symptoms, not to mention the work it took me to finally get everything in my car. I came to a location I frequent expecting the same experience I usually have. But instead I was met with bad attitude, being made to feel like an inconvenience and poor customer service from the moment I walked in. I am not looking for anything in particular. I just wanted to be sure someone knew of her poor behavior in order to offer the opportunity for improvement.

I then verified the information on the website for The Postal Shoppe, and it said, "The friendly team at The Postal Shoppe are big fans of the environment and always try to do our part to "keep it green" by recycling whenever and whatever we can." Along with "We encourage the residents and business owners of Rockford, IL to also do their part by using The Postal Shoppe as their recycling center.", along with a listing if items they recycle to include toner cartridges. However, when I arrived at The Postal Shoppe, I found the team anything but friendly. At first, I was told no, they do not do any recycling. When I asked about the website, the staff told me it was "not our problem", and "we don't care", and "we are not responsible for the website". When I pressed them on the information posted on the website, they said it was probably the old owners. So, I asked when the owners changed. They said it was 5 years ago, but again they didn't care and are not responsible. This review is for the attitude of employees at The Postal Shoppe. Instead of "I'm sorry we no longer offer that service. I'll let the owner know to update the website"; it was "not our problem", and "we don't care". To the owners of The Postal Shoppe, if you no longer offer a service that listed on your website, then you should update it. Apparently, it's been at least 5 years since this service was offered. I wanted to purchase the pre-assembled chair because far too many times, I've gotten home with one to assemble + there have been issues. But they wouldn't let me purchase that chair. We assembled one of the chairs and from the start, it was popping, tilting left/right and I wasn't able to adjust the tension. Today was the soonest my husband (working in a different location) was able to drive up, take it apart and reassemble just to make sure we didn't miss something. Discovered the tension knob does nothing, so when you rock you go waaaayy back and you can't adjust it. The base is off and the chair tilts left and right. Despite being told that we had 30 days to return the chairs, and today's the 20th day, read the fine print and look for signage that supposedly exists in the store. With furniture you assemble, you have to disassemble it, put in original packaging and return within FOURTEEN days! Otherwise, you have to contact the manufacturer. We spent close to $900 and were planning to return for a standing desk. We won't now.
