He says that's how he does it. Honestly I shouldn't care about hurting anyone's feelings, but I felt like I was offending him. He did the exact opposite. Cut my bangs off. Chopped them like I was a 5 year old. A nice other stylist tried to fix but everyone's answer was that I needed to wait for it to grow. In a matter of minutes my bangs were destroyed. I was crying and I felt like the manager or owner was annoyed at me. I explained I have zero eyebrows and I explained this on the phone, before and during the appt. I explained I wanted a TINY TRIM. This place is not high quality at all. I'm just so sad the way they handled me and the situation.

My main concern was to even out my skin tone from acne scars and clean out my pores, so we ended up going with the Microdermabrasion facial. I will admit that even after the consultation I was still nervous. I knew that there would be buffing involved and was very scared that it would hurt and my skin would look raw! But boy was I wrong. Claudette was very gentle and took her time, making sure I was comfortable with everything she was doing. Within minutes I was completely relaxed and forgot that I was ever worried about anything. The space is tasteful, the bathroom serves its purpose. To be sure, you come to Face to Face NYC not for the "spa experience" but for the men. In my case, Ray. Frankly, I'd much rather have Ray's masterful ministrations upon my flesh, and the aching muscles underneath, than some artifice constructed to "relax" me. Besides, if you aren't relaxed after a few minutes with Ray, there's little hope that anything else might help. Before a massage, I usually tell my masseur that I am quite ticklish. I explained this to Ray before we got down to business. And as he administered the most amazing massage I have ever had I was completely surprised to almost never get tickled. Unlike any massage before, mine at Face to Face NYC with Ray felt like it was really designed for me. It involved a great deal of stretching which felt amazing. And Ray is superbly intuitive and also has a keen understanding of anatomy. And he's wicked strong. Where other massage therapists feel like they're simply going through the motions, I felt like Ray was very present and had a genuine desire to leave me feeling better than he found me. I think Ray is actually gifted for this kind of bodywork. In a way that I, personally, have not experienced before. I had a massage elsewhere a week later and the entire time on the table I could only think of Ray. It is possible that he has ruined me for all others. They say pictures speak more than words, so I will provide the images below. For my birthday I wanted a different, new fresh look so I reached out to book a butterfly haircut with face framing. May 2 2025 I went for service, when the so-called hairstylist finish my service, she failed to provide a mirror so I could see the back of my haircut, but I lasted a long time there so I needed to leave. While I was waiting for my ride, I seemed the receptionist and the hairstylist who did my hair talking in a different language, but they both kept looking at me. I stood up and tried to see the back of my hair but since it was partially curled( which was a request I did not ask for it.) I couldn't really tell the horrible job that she had done. I had my boyfriend take a picture once I left the salon. I reached out and let them know the horrible job they did, so they unhappily booked me for the next day made it seem like the other hairstyles were extremely busy and I was being an Inconvenience. The hairstyle that I seen that day told me the girl Who styled my hair didn't even use the right scissors to cut my hair and she agreed my haircut was cut was horrible. She tried to fix it, but obviously could not attached to Hair the other stylist removed so the "fix" is still horrible. I even heard the new hairstyle tell another customer as I was leaving that my hair was ruined by another hairstylist in that salon.I reached out to them, received my refund. I did ask the receptionist why she kept looking at me once my haircut was done. She admitted she was asking my hairstylist. Why was my hair cut "so different" The hairstylist apparently told her that's what I asked for, mind you she seen it was horrible and was the person who booked my appointment when I specifically asked for face framing, butterfly haircut. receptionist didn't provide me a mirror or bothered to take five seconds to ask if I was satisfied with my service. after all this was said and done, my hair is completely ruined. They chopped half of my hair off. The owner never bothered to reach out to me even though she was aware of the situationand the receptionist only advice was I hope your hair grows fast.. I took all the correct steps. I looked for a certified location and had this unfortunate, terrible traumatizing service not to mention it's permanent till my hair grows out. I am writing this review for anyone who does the mistake of going to the website and seen the beautiful work, but the truth is otherwise. Please, please please do not come to this hair salon. It should be shut down. Avoid the emotional damage they cause with a smile. The owner never reached out, even though the receptionist let me know she was aware of my situation. The owner only solution was a manicure which I was appalled, since it had nothing to do with my service, and I denied the free manicure In the fear of what else could go wrong or losing a finger. What made sense to me was maybe 1 of the products in the salon since they had walls full of them but they denied it. The one thing I can say about that location is, they have great teamwork as they all work together to destroy my hair.
