The rudest bunch of women I've ever met in my entire life. The two white women who work there were nasty to every other customer that was in there too then they were being rude to a vendor also! I'd love to know how this place is still open. read more

Food is good, service is HORRENDOUS!!! Word of advice, if you order you need to open your sandwich up while you're at the counter because these kids don't care... Obviously QuickChek doesn't care... You'll be lucky if they put 50% of the stuff you ordered on the sandwich. I'm a lifelong resident of this town and I've been going here for a long time and within the past two years, every other sandwich is a disaster. I've had to now open up my sandwiches when I order them to make sure they're correct, and MORE than half the time they're not...ON PURPOSE. And no one cares...... No mgr cares, the servers don't care, the COMPANY doesn't care....Order at your own risk, or better yet, go REAL deli, and get REAL food. ZERO read more

Clark store, Westfield Avenue. 12:30 this afternoon (Friday 3/17). Don't have to worry about giving free coffee Friday as they don't have much coffee available. Half of the coffee pots are sitting on stands empty and others behind counter are waiting for someone to make coffee. (This is a constant problem) Coffee area is always dirty. The first of the month is "Family Reward". the rewards are rarely available most times. read more

I have been a loyal customer of quick check for 20 years NO LONGER I have family who works for your corporate office. I AM DONE WITH YOUR COMPANY. Your clark location can't get a lousy pack of smokes right you don't have any deals... I am ONLY driving or jogging to WAWA in Rahway I will avoid your stores and chains like the black plague. Its inconceivable how your company stays in business to me your sandwiches are over price compared to subway. I stop by here often (@9am, Monday thru Friday). One day, there is no bacon on my bacon & cheese sandwich. How can you forget the bacon when there only 2 items on it? There were 2 girls behind the breakfast counter making sandwiches. Another day, while i was washing my hands in the bathroom, a teenage employee opens the door, glances in without even stepping into the room, and puts her initials on the hourly bathroom condition list & closes the door. How is that checking the stalls, paper goods, etc.? Today, while standing in the line to check out (people line up down a candy aisle), there was a sign "99 cents for M&M 1.74 oz size". It rings up $1.74. I said to the cashier "the sign says the candy is 99 cents". His reply was "if it's on sale, it'll come up on the register". I said "i work retail too. Your register can be wrong". He shrugged his shoulders. I looked behind me and there are 4 people in line. They're all trying to get to work too. I didn't want to hold them up. He calls "next" & takes care of that person. I go get the sign and put it on the counter. I said, "your sign says 99 cents. Perhaps it can be changed in the system?" He looks at it. Shrugs. And calls "next". Guess what? There's a 7-11 a couple blocks away. I'll probably just start going there now. read more

Would be 4.5 stars... Whenever I'm at Clark, I stop here to grab some coffee. The variety that they have is perfect, and they all taste great (my favorite flavor is the Chocolate Macadamia Nut). Ever since they did the renovations a while back, this store looked a lot nicer and cleaner than several years back, which is a huge plus. Staff people are friendly, and MOST of the time when there are long lines, they move at a decent speed. Excellent location! read more

Cashier I dealt with was slower than molasses and the line was to the back of the store. I was buying two Sunkist sodas that were clearly labeled 2 for $3.50. I get to the register and she tells me they are not that price. Even though she saw that there were two rows of Sunkist bottles labeled 2 for $3.50 she continued to argue and tell me that they are not that price. Last time I'll ever go there. read more

Came here last night and ordered two different sandwiches. It didn't even seem like there was anyone working behind the food area. I browsed the store a bit and paid, went back to the food area and still no one. Finally a young boy appears from the back. He quickly made my two sandwiches that I was saving for lunch for the following day for myself and my mom. Went to go eat my sandwich for lunch and to my surprise they got my entire order wrong. I travel all over NJ on a daily basis and frequent many convenience stores including WaWa , 7-11 and Quick Check. This is their worst location . Always dirty and un organized . The employees are all in a fog . I called Quick Checks suggestion line , left a message relaying my impression's . Never received a follow up . I guess they don't care . read more

This is probably the worst quick chek I've ever been in. They have the old sign on the building, which should tell you something. It was so dirty inside I decided not to buy anything. I especially liked the loose wire hanging in the beverage fridge. read more

Place just seems so dreary . Ordered a sandwich and people seem just to not care and throw it together . Cheese was in little triangles , and well meat was tasteless. Cashier was a nice young kid but some of his comments defiantly made it seem like he didn't care about his job . Place needs a remodel or something. Maybe its me but great your customer with a smile. if making there food double check there order with them if possible , i wont be back for food but maybe other little things. read more

The person who made the food was very grumpy and sloppily wrapped the food. It was hard to get their attention and we had to ask her multiple times for them to realize it and it was still pretty sloppy. read more

dirty.... did i mention it is dirty?? and everyone in theEr is rude..... the crew behind the cold cut counter ...well, they should all be fired. CURSING, asking each other for cigarettes while waiting on you, taking garbage out of the cans outside with no gloves on!!! and then go make a sandwich...!!!
