The cashier decided to be on her phone and ignore me when I walked up to pay instead of ring me up like what she's supposed to do as part of her job. I had to say something just to get her attention which I shouldn't have to do. A cashier should be attentive to customers walking up to the front to pay. Never going in here again! read more

Never again. This place has absolutely gone to pot over the last year. For a start, I get it, you want your trainees to learn how to make all the sandwiches. Morning rush is a really bad time to stand there and watch while they struggle while there's a line. Used to be able to snag a sandwich in 5 minutes, no problem - last visit took almost 15. When there's a bunch of people waiting you get moving and help out, even if it means your trainee's practice on making sandwiches may need to wait a little bit. There's one woman who's been there each time I've stopped in: I've no idea what her job is but she literally stands there chattering with people around her and never does anything productive. While I suppose it's possible she's on break coincidentally every time I stop in, I'm gonna go with 'probably not'. I cannot comprehend why there are between 4 - 5 people behind that counter at all times and only one ever actually doing anything. Looking at the gas side of things, I have NO idea what they're doing. Half the pumps closed and blocked off, but not in any kind of logical order, so you never know which lanes are open and which aren't - with traffic coming in both ways it's literally impossible to know where to go. They're the most convenient for me in terms of location, but I'm done with this place. read more

I've come monthly for 6 months typically in the late hours when Costco Gasoline's closed and so I get my air pressures checked and done at the automated machine then refill on the reliable, nicely priced (usually $0.05-0.10 less than competitors) gasoline. I however never go into the store itself namely due to not needing anything. Always the friendly happy staff are game to discuss local living and good vibe smalltalk. I always say that when the management take care of the staff, the rest takes care of itself and judging by the finely maintained air pumps (famed for being broken if at any other gas station), store (immaculately clean, even if brand new not at a touristy interstate rest stop), and gas pumps (both the fine maintenance and spic-and-span of both priors) all suggest all is going very well behind the scenes thus at the front of the house, so thank you to all who make it happen. read more

Very large gas station and convenience store. Lots of parking and bays for getting gas. Full service Bc it's New Jersey and by law you cannot pump your own gas. I ain't complaining! read more

Sadly there is only one convenient gas station on my way home, and this quick check is it. Awful. The service for the gas stations is poor. I've been yelled at by an attendant to move my car up whilst actively receiving gas. Literally screaming at me in the middle of the lot because there was a line; yet I couldn't move, obviously. Every time I'm in contact with the people that work here they shrug you off as though they just hate their job. Pumps are never available. Every time I come here there are at least four pumps not in service. Honestly worst gas station I've ever experienced. read more

This Quick Chek is very large and has plenty of pumps for gas, as well as a good selection of snacks and drinks inside. The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

Terrible experience !! This place is run by lazy, careless and rude staff. I bought milkshake along with bunch of other items. The 'straw' compartment in the milkshake machine was empty (picture attached). Since I bought food items as well, I asked the staff at food counter to give me a straw. She had a bunch of straws right beside her, but refused to give me one. Few other staffs ganged up immediately and rudely asked me to go to checkout counter for a piece of straw even though they have a bunch of straws right beside them. I wanted to complain this harassment to the store manager. The store manager said - "Go, complain to Murphy" (i.e. Murphy is NJ governor). All this is over a 'piece of straw', as if I asked for the most expensive item in the store. One staff said they don't give straw to save on plastics, but failed to answer why then they have plastic spoons and plastic lids in the milkshake machine. Their arrogance and attitude knows no bound !! I also took a picture of overflowing trash can that proves the main reason for not having the straw in the machine is their laziness, nothing else !! read more

stopped in around 1045am saturday 7/11 to get gas, use the restroom and get a drink. the bathroom was clean, which is always good ! the smoothie i got had huge ice chunks in it still & my cup wasn't even full. it tasted good, so that was redeeming. when i tried to pay at the self check out, 2 employees were blocking the check outs as they were talking, one behind the counter did not have on their mask. it was pulled down under her chin. if you're going to post signs on the doors about wearing masks, make sure your company and employees follow your rules as well ! read more

The one on Somerset Street Raritan is the only Quick Chek I would patron. The other ones in the area service and cleanliness are horrendous ! Raritan Quick Chek has it all. Service with a smile, fresh filled coffee urns and clean environment! Way to go QC Raritan! read more

Always get the same subs at least twice a week and its made well at this location. Lots of other food are available now and turns in to a one stop shop. read more
