This is a beautiful Whole Foods supermarket. I have only good things to say about it. I can get all of my favorite things here like a Gerolsteiner mineral water and vegan baked goods. They have an extensive hot and cold food self-serve area and a nice place to sit and eat. There's lots of parking. There's an Amazon return counter inside and that's very convenient and I've used it a bunch of times . The store is really clean and bright. The staff are helpful. What can I say, I love Whole Foods! Have come here by bi-weekly for a decade and it's always excellent in here no matter the season. This review highlights the control sensitivity to how the lunar new year prefers stems connected to the Mandarin oranges and special ingredients such as abalone and large Asian pears. As always, produce piicking and careful selection is near perfection. Especially not to the floral section for being extra stocked for the nearby Valentine's Day holiday in addition to the Lunar New Year, whose preference for fresh florals is seen. Great location compared to Clark, NJ or Metuchen, NJ. Store feels spacious and like the old Whole Foods before Amazon took over and made it feel like a cross between a Shoprite and a Wegmans. Inside is a cute coffee bar and their cheese "shop" and "butcher" feel more like that than other locations. It's a nice place to shop for food you'll cook but other Whole Foods locations seem to have more prepared food selections. That being said, it's a solid store. I shop at Whole Foods quite often. The staff behind the deli counter really are not welcoming at all. It's incredibly difficult for them to even look up and acknowledge you. Then when they do acknowledge you, it certainly isn't with a smile. Seems like many of the cashiers really don't like their job. They are not smiling. They are not engaging. Most times no thank you and goodbye when they are through ringing you up. However, I was in there three days ago when I had a nice young gentleman cashier and he was very nice and engaging. I've had a disappointing experience with the bakery service. It felt as though they were unwilling to assist. I've called twice to try and place two different cake orders over the phone. The first time, I was told they were too busy and only accepting Thanksgiving orders. The second time, when I tried to order a birthday cake, I was told that they wouldn't take my order over the phone and to order on their website, which was confusing to navigate. What a store and what a collection! If walking into a grocery store can give you a feeler of walking into a posh jewelry store, then this store is the mother of all. The last time we were in a Whole Foods Market was when I was in Minneapolis. To come back here and to find WFM look bigger and better was a great feeling. This place has the perfect ambience to offer for its customers and has all the space for them to walk around and shop. There are sections of the shop that support local businesses too. Love the fact that Whole Foods finally made it close to my home base! Not only is this store new but the entire development is a scratch built from raw land (that was not the most friendly -- meaning flat -- place to build all of these stores). Got Prime? Get your Chase Visa card and that will effectively reduce prices across the board with a 5% cash back if you use it here. Bulletproof, for fans of the coffee, oils, and other supplements will find stock here as well. Though I did not see Brain Octane in the 32oz sizes which will hopefully be added over time. Otherwise, it is a Whole Foods. Don't expect cheap, and don't expect most mainstream brands to be on the shelves here. One example would be sports drinks (think Gatorade and the like). Here you will find Nooma Organic Electro Lyte Drink in Mango and Chocolate Mint flavors. Try it, you might like it and hopefully you will live longer and with fewer health challenges as well. It's always a pleasure shopping at a Whole Foods Market. Chimney Rock has one of the better WFMs that I've shopped at. It's the Goldilocks of WFMs. It's just the right size to get in and out of easily. I shop here at least 3 times a week to get my spanakopita swirls, cold food bar, hot food bar, and fresh squeezed orange juice. They treated me (mixed) and my mom (black woman) very bad in the food court. Went in for a spinach and feta roll, already had to try to get their attentions because the people behind the counter were just hanging about and right away assisted a (white) woman who came after we did. I'm adding the races here for the record because the context is important. While the lady gets a panini I ask for a spinach and feta roll, the two people assisting us was an old white woman and an old white man. I ask for it to be warmed and get shot down by the room right away, literally at the same time the lady next to me asks for her food to get warmed and the man says yes to her. Already rude, but I figured she's just a cranky old lady and dismiss it. My mom was already pissed and I told her it's not a big deal, she's just being lazy. So I walk over to him instead when he goes to put the lady's food in the over, ask him if he could warm mine too and I get the "I'm BUSY" treatment. When I wait for him to put the panini in the oven and come back to me, he says yes to warming up my bread and puts it in the oven I presume (plot twist at the end: he didn't.) Then, the old white lady comes and starts lecturing me and my mom about how we are supposed to warm the bread in the MICROWAVE and the oven is ONLY for paninis. Her words, she exactly used "ONLY paninis" as if there's not a handful of baked items being sold behind the counter. Very weird, very rude. The man then tells me and my mom that we don't have a tag on the food, how we were supposed to get a tag on the bread to pay for it. We were NOT given one, so I don't know why he asked as if I crawled over the counter to steal the bread. He was upset at us not having a tag on the food as if it wasn't the old woman's job to weigh and label the bread ! He then ignored us when we were reasonably confused. Anyways, we got a different person behind the counter to weigh the roll and tag it for us, but it's very uncomfortable trying to get my mom not to argue with these people while getting disrespected by old miserable white people working at whole foods in their retirement ages. I genuinely wish them unwell for their rudeness, I hope they fall and break some bones. The roll wasn't even warmed so i had to get spitroasted by them infront of my mother for absolutely no reason. read more

This was my first visit to this new location which is located in the new Chimney Rock shopping area. Well let me start by saying it's really nice inside and everything neatly placed . It was super crowded today in the parking lot because the container store had its grand opening. Although I'm not big on the prices of the items it's a really great store for those who love Organic foods and some unique items you may not typically find in a regular grocery store. They have a really great hot and cold bar with prepared items that you can grab for lunch or even dinner. They also have a great bakery selection. They also have a coffee bar where you can order some breakfast and lunch items . Also they have a juice bar area that you can order a health drink. You definitely could go over board in there with all the great items they have. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

The real star of this place was Maha wonderful person cares about her customers this over work person deserves a raise. Since Amazon bought Whole Foods its like a dung beetle that has lost interest in its work. I went to the customer service after asking the butcher who was no help. I asked customer service if they could look in their computer to tell me where the duck fat was. The precious little one total me, they wont have any informatio. In their computer and go ask Maha (hence the woman appear to be the only that actually does her job). My overall impression of this and any Whole Foods is the following For the most part employees are lazy and incompetent employees too many standing around doing nothing except discussing drivel after what appeared to have had over dosed on edibles or something. Customers 6 deep with pnly 2 lanes open. No one has a clue of what is where the badda boom badda bing butcher clearly didnt want to work attitude "yeah we dont have it" .....Maha found it in 10 seconds. Showed the butcher, "oh we did have it". Also bought a single servicing of egg nog......it was spoiled..... Amazon fix this over priced under valued joke or selling or shutter it. Going progressively downhill every time I go back. Lady at the register coulo process a gift card so I had to pay out of pocket all this while she was whining about being too tired. (Bitch please keep that to yourself) The attendance at the deli bar are too busy talking to amongst themselves to listen to what you really want. The Home goods Selection is very reduced and they also remove the micro exhibition needs to have next to the fruits and veggies. Wegmans can kiss my b*tt. Whole Foods is fantastic. Sure, it's a little more expensive but your body is important and you should eat healthy foods to take care of it. Their selection is wonderful and the staff are friendly. I love how EVERYTHING has nutritional facts. After hearing the criticisms from my friends on the West Coast and having them refer to this store as "Whole Paychecks", I didn't think there would be much to like. The store is clean and new and carries complete product lines of some of my favorite brands. For instance, you can get Green Mountain Gringo salsa at the local discount grocery store but you can't get the roasted chili pepper flavor anywhere but Whole Foods. As a cook and baker, I will be visiting for hard to find ingredients. They have tons of organic and natural foods. They also have many brands I have not seen before. A nice butcher offered to order in any cuts of meat I wanted. Whole Foods appeals to lots of hipsters and young people. They seem impressed by the lack of plastic and cellophane packaging. I'm impressed by the old school paper bags which I can use for holding paper I intend to recycle. read more

Having never been to a whole foods before, I was amazed by how clean, interactive, and ecofriendly everything was. You can make your own nut butter, mix your own granola, fill reusable growlers with kombucha, buy hand made pasta, slice your own bread, and grow your own edible mushrooms (not the psychedelic kind unfortunately)! As an eco-freak, this is my dream come true - to be able to buy things in bulk without all the wasteful plastic packaging. If you are vegan, health-conscious, or love the environment as I do, you'll love whole foods. The entire store is so bright and well organized, and I have never seen a more organized produce display. This is one of the best Whole Foods locations I have been to in NJ. The layout is similar to most other Whole Foods with produce at the forefront when you walk in. The isles are nice and wide which makes it less stressful when you are shopping at peak hours. The selection is bountiful but not excessive. The store is always clean. I haven't had an issue with parking. If there is ever anything wrong with a purchase or product, the situation is handled appropriately and timely. They have a well stocked hot bar and small cafe attached. There is also plenty of room to enjoy your meal if you choose to have it there. I enjoy going to this location very much! read more

We happened to be in our way to visit family in Warren county NJ. When we ran into this mall which has a huge while foods and other restaurants. The mall itself , including the roads are brand new. Upon arriving we were met by a small reception area with an attendant which is dispensing sanitizer as well as wipes to all customers coming in. Plus there was a huge sign telling everyone to MUST wear a mask inside! I had to use the restrooms as we had been on the road for a while, i noticed attendant checking the restrooms and cleaning. We end up getting an apple pie for $12.99 which was delicious. We love apple pie from whole foods and we had the apple pie for dessert later in the afternoon. The store is clean, the produce is fresh, and they are fully stocked - I never not find what I'm looking for. They have a bigger selection of greens (including watercress which is hard to find) and snacks and everything else. The staff also seems friendlier than other locations. I just love exploring whole foods & love basic grocery shopping. Staff is very nice & happy with wide selection of items. Its a great place for lunch and if you are prime member with amazon- its 5% off with their credit card. There are couple of things i wished were better. Each time I visit this store it gets worse. Unfortunately for me this is the only "healthy food " store nearby. Within the past few months the food quality has taken a dive. I don't know if they have changed suppliers to save $$ or its due to a lack of manpower which is clearly evident throughout the store. The coffee bar and the salad bar are still closed. They tell you its COVID related but thats BS. They have no manpower beceause they treat their employees terribly. Why dont you offer them some Amazon stock or some form of incentive? My advice is start treating your employees better they are the life blood of your success. read more

This is a very nice grocery store. The personnel are outstanding ... helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Store is immaculately clean and beautifully stocked. The produce section is superb with a deep selection of organic. The salad bar is well stocked with interesting selections. My peeve with this store though is the bakery/bread department. For some reason the bakers insist on overbaking nearly all of the breads. Instead of light, chewy, tasty breads, you get, on a consistent basis, dark, tough crusts and dried, tasteless and crumbly interiors. At times the sperlonga rolls are hockey pucks disguised as bread. Kaiser rolls too are hard, dry and unappealing. Store is still s great place to shop but the bakery needs work. read more

Picked up our Thanksgiving Dinner that was preordered for a later time and the service was exceptional. Since I was a few hours early, I expected to wait or be turned away but was met with all smiles from beginning to end. Gave me a chance to experience this location for the first time and it is so well stocked, clean and bright. I have been going to Kings for specialty items and paying more for same products that Whole Foods carries. The butchered meats behind the glass looked picture perfect! This store needs to figure out customer service and checkout. Every thing me I'm in the store, there is normal to light traffic. Yet despite what seems like a multitude of employees and only one or two customers in line, it generally takes ten to 15 minutes to check out. The cashiers move extremely slowly. Assistance at any of the service areas is equally as bad. You would think for the extremely high markup on their inventory they would at least offer good customer service. I honestly prefer driving out of my way to go to Wegman's. read more

I've been to Whole Foods all over the country and this is the oddest location and the quietest. Yes, I was there at open and one of the first customers. As far as I can tell, it's much like the other locations, except not very organized at open - it took at long time to get my coffee, and there was very little vegan ready for breakfast - certainly no donuts and the hot bar wasn't out yet. Firstly if you're worried about the expensive and priciness of WF's products, stop and think about your health and why this is a great stop. If you need to lose weight and force yourself to buy healthy, you will ultimately succeed because there is almost only healthy food (hence "whole" foods) and the price will deter you from buying large portions since that is a common problem of large eaters and obesity or dieters. Control what you buy and what you eat by coming here. Invest in endurance and power foods to get you (and/or your families) through the week and stay healthy and in shape even if you can't exercise. Many people I know like WF but complain of the price (everything else is top quality like cleanliness, produce, events, friendliness, etc). But just stop and think of how much we overbuy because of cheap quality goods. If you have 15 children or whatnot I can understand this may not be the place and Costco might be the spot for you but otherwise, this is a great community and store and now bought by Amazon so let's see what it has in store for us in the future. The store is huge and very clean, and is adjacent to a ton of other stores including Saks Off Fifth, Nordstrom Rack, and Ann Taylor, all new locations. I took advantage of their large hot and cool food bars to create a delicious lunch, and appreciated the extensive bulk food selection with plenty of nuts and granola. read more
