But once I poured on some gravy. It was a game changer for sure. The gravy is the seasoning and makes there mash potatoes a 10. Without the gravy they are a 4. Uughh not sure what to say about this place. It has definitely gone down hill since it has opened. It was super dirty. I had a crazy craving for some of the famous chicken. I ordered 8 pieces and found when I got home it was all 8 chicken breast. I was highly disappointed and will probably not be going back. We got a bunch of fried chicken , Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes to go. As is typical with fried food it got steamed in the bag on the drive home so it wasn't crispy but it still was very moist and had great flavor! Been meaning to check out this spot since noticing it a few mths before they opened. A family member went and I decided to check them out...:while I was hungry haha. Parking is easy and I got into a spot pretty quickly. The place is separated like a gasoline station convenience store. BUT the fried chicken counter is right there as soon as you come into the bldg. If you want chicken, you need to punch in your order on the screen at the counter and then get whatever you need to get before checking out at the register. During this time, the folks handling the food will prepare yourself your order. Recommend you take the plastic bag they offer you at the register bc they don't have them when you pick up the chicken. I was directed to go back to the register to get a plastic bag for my food. Turn off right there bc I didn't know and the signs didn't say. They don't pack your food into bags to go. Also, I was given a store "card" to help accumulate points. Before I could ask what the full benefit is, the person rang it up as part of my order (shrug). Food wise, then chicken is pretty good! Breast meat pieces stayed pretty moist even after a reheat in the microwave. Skin did ok on the ride home and stayed somewhat crunchy. Parts of it felt over salted though? Mash potatoes were pretty good too..creamy and packed well. Biscuits were tasty but didn't wow me. 3.5-4 stars for chicken but 3 for the "not it" service to a degree. This place is a joke! Ordered a chicken sandwich after a long day of work. The sandwich was cold! Told them I wanted a fresh cooked piece of chicken. The manager Dan, came out & said they weren't going to make a "fresh" sandwich & said "what did you expect for that price"! This place is not going to make it in Jersey. I was very excited that a new gas station with good chicken was opening in Manville. Nothing new ever comes to this town. Finally had a chance to go in today, and I was very disappointed. I cam in around 1:10. Only 1 person seemed to be working behind the food counter. I went to order and there were no regular chicken tenders available. I ordered thighs instead. I paid and waited about 15 minutes. When it got to my order, surprise surprise no thighs, only breasts available. The explantation was that someone had ordered a 12 count meal of thighs, so there was none left for me.... How can 12 thighs be the only amount made at 1 time. I felt bad for the lady working the counter, mainly because she was the only one there.. until a man came out of the back to start making chicken. This was inconvenient for me as I asked for a refund. It took him about 20 min to finish the 1 batch of chicken before I got my refund. I just do not understand how WAWA has 15 people working and this new place that serves food only had 2 for the entire store. The only person to blame here is the manager. Sorry, but your store is new and its already gross inside as well. Typical Manville joint. The town should be disappointed. read more

Had lunch here delivered to the office, the food is gooood. They even left a lil thank you note for supporting the business. Recommended!
