It's not our first time here typically just get gas but went inside with a snack. Prices were okay but there was a large variety but grocery items as well. We choose to get there 2 for $5 sausage, egg, and cheese sandwhiches it was on an English muffin. The bread a crispy, cheese was hot and melted, egg was well done and soft, and sausage patty was flavored well without being too salty. What happened to the Quick Check stores? The Sparta store never has hot coffee .., I always have to ask to be told it will take 5 minutes to brew. The store used to be a well oiled machine as it was always clean and the customer service was stellar. Is there new management? or just not enough help? At 5 am this morning I walked into the store and asked the Overnight cashier if it was too early for the attendant to pump gas. He called the gas attendant who was in the back behind the coffee. After I ordered my sandwich I took the ticket to the cashier who was on his phone. He said check out. I said there are three employees here and I am the only patron. Can you ring me up? He said self checkout. I retorted, so you are explaining to me that this particular Quick Check is paying you to be on your phone and inform customers to self checkout ?? Is that correct ? Then Clearly Your Job is Obsolete as you have just said. He said speak to his manager. The manager who is making my breakfast? As I walked out to pay the gas attendant who said 22$ I handed him THREE 10$ bills. He gave me a 5$ bill and said have a good day. I said excuse me you owe me 3$ Best part was.... He stated Oh you did?? Clearly this employee was trying to skim off the top. To early morning customers, hoping they wouldn't notice. Never ever go there again. read more

Bad gas!! After getting gas there yesterday, my car was acting funny. It had trouble starting and almost dying on me on the highway. Took it a friend, and he had that I got bad gas. This is the 1st time this has happened there. What a shame,I love that place. read more

Avoid Bruce if you have a company car. Consistently inputs whatever numbers he wants for mileage rather than what you provide. Tried giving the benefit of doubt but doing this four times in a row is a result of laziness and disregard rather than a mistake. read more

Bruce is one of the nicest individuals you will ever meet. He is always friendly and up for a cordial conversation. This is the only place I go to for gas because of him. The other employees here are nice as well. They make great sandwiches and I can tell instantly when it is from another location because of the excellent quality that this place has. The only knock on this place I can think off is that sometimes the add ons on the sandwich are a little small for the price. So went to quick Chek on 5/23/15 at 12:30 . Technically it's 5/24 but who's counting.. went in to grab a sandwich and as I was approaching the computers to order a sandwich the guy behind the counter started shaking his head as if I was inconveniencing him. Are you kidding me. So I ignored it so did my other two friends .. after he slapped the first sandwich on the counter my friend thanked him anyway he said nothing.. he then slapped my sandwich down on the counter and I also thanked him .. he said nothing and walked away.. how rude. I went to this quick check with my son. We went to go get a sandwich from the back and a drink and when we got to the register there was a extremely rude lady at the counter who started to insult my 14 year old son. She proceeded to insult him. I have been to this quick check before and this was the same with a different child. I walked in to see her yelling at the child in the store while she was working there. I would NEVER RECOMMEND GOING HERE UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING GAS. read more

As a Realtor in town, I got into a bad habit of stopping here for a quick coffee and snacks for while I'm on the road in between showings! This Quick Chek in particular has good, strong but not too strong, fresh and hot coffee in the mornings. I got so used to how perfect their coffee is that when I went to another Quick Chek in a different location I was caught off guard by how awful the coffee was at another location. Always dirty and horrible service. Treats there workers horrible I've heard. Hate the self checks out. They never work properly.

So happy this store is in Sparta! Clean and the workers are nice. Best of all- great coffee and I can pick up milk too.

Don't get me wrong, I love quick chek but when I come in and need help getting something and all of the employees are outside in someones car, smoking, and I wait 10 minutes before I have to go out to their car and ask for help, it makes me not want to come back read more
