Honestly, how hard is it to follow a list? Idk why but night and day SOMETHING is always wrong with whatever I ordered. Whether it's peperoncinis missing from the sandwich or salad or simple salt and pepper missing from the Mac & cheese (which obv isn't a big deal but come ON!) ... just check your food orders before you leave so you're not disappointed. This quick check is huge and very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. They make a good sandwich if your in the mood and need to grab something quick. Been coming here for over a year now during work. A lot of the same employees since I started coming and they are experts at customer service. Very friendly. Always giving service with a smile. Great sandwich deals. They are always worth the money. During the summer, they have quite a variety of $2.99, 6 inch subs. No place can match that deal. Love it here. Convenient. Easy. Delicious. Boy, has this place changed for the worse. I bought hotdogs and coffee on my card - fine and good. I left and then almost immediately remembered I forgot to get a lottery ticket. Went right back in. Can't get ticket on a card, of course, so I took out a $20 bill and asked for change for the lottery machine. I've done this for years with no issue. Then this: "I can't give you change without a purchase." "I just made one." "That doesn't count." "Huh?" "I can't open the register to give change without a purchase" "I made one just now." "It has to be a cash purchase. That's company policy." "The lottery machine doesn't give change." "That's our policy." Some back and forth that sounded like the old "Who's on First" sketch. Upshot. I used to do this all the time and spent much money here regularly for gas, food and lottery. No more. I went here for food, not bureaucracy and crappy attitude. Enjoy your policy. It kept me from spending more money in your store. Not just for today - but permanently. It's not like I don't have other dining choices. Zero customer service means zero money from me. This store is a disaster today. I started to get coffee but it ran out before my cup was filled and there is no one to ask for help. The Pepsi was out of syrup. I ordered a sandwich but people were complaining that there was no one back there making sandwiches so I abandoned that too. Staff is overly rude!! Bathrooms are always filthy or out of order, but yet the staff never seems to put up an "OUT OF ORDER SIGN" on the door. Theyll only open the door and scream at you to get out of the stall. Very disappointed in the awful customer service received today. After ordering some deli cheese, i noticed the price on the ordering computer was different than the price advertised on display at the deli counter so i pointed it out to the attendant who responded rudely when i asked for a manager to speak to. She told me there was no manager to speak too and continued to argue that the computer was right and the sign was not, instead of just apologizing and honoring the price advertised. It took me 25 minutes to get a 1/2 pound of cheese! Clearly this person could use some customer service training as she had no idea how to resolve this matter and apparently no manager to speak to. I have to wonder if the people that work there even get trained properly . Incompetent, no one truly cares about customer service - their self check out machine got messed up so I went to another one , fearing I didn't want to get charged again and charged me twice the one guy that works there kept telling me I didn't pay and I shouldn't have gotten double charged well long and behold I checked my bank account and showed the guy I did indeed get double charged and they basically couldn't refund me , now I have to open a dispute with my bank. Wasn't too happy, took almost 10 minutes to get just $10.00 worth gas, i asked the attendant why only 2 guys were working the pumps (about 20 pumps!) , he said it's the store managers opinion that only 2 people are needed per shift!, of course i knew right away it's a sham, the manager puts less help outside and more $$ into his pocket ! I've even seen 1 guy working all pumps while the other was inside,or somewhere else!, wtf?...that's no way to run a business, hey quick chek hire more people and don't be afraid to not get your 'bonuses' for having less help! Bottom line people, if you're in a hurry to get some place, do not go to quick chek for gas, you'll be late every time! *There's nothing quick about quick chek ! * And the gas isn't the cheapest (in quality ?,yes...not price!) in town,there are a few 'real gas stations' that have lower prices & better fuel. * The attendants ( morning-afternoon shift) are nice,friendly,so sad they have to be treated so poorly with poor pay and under staffing, 2 attendants are armed forces combat vets too!, shame on you quick chek, hope the extra $$ the manager gets is worth it. * read more

Here's customer service for you: I lost my car keys while in the store. The manager stopped his already busy day, got some gloves, and went outside to help me sift through the garbage! I'm already loyal to this store, they have good prices, good selections (especially soups), great coffee, and it's always neat and clean. Deli dept has turnover so service there can be hit or miss depending on the shift. But since there's no 4 1/2 star rating, lets just go with 5 read more

It's not that I hate this Quick Chek, I just think they need to better train the staff making the subs. Multiple times I have gotten subs there, and every time the bread is stale. Besides that, the actual Quick Chek is new and clean. I also have to give a shout out to the older gentleman with the glasses, who always works in the front.
