    Quicks "buffalo wings"
    Jawad M.

Drove for 25 mins and I was very disappointed after finding out their buffalo wings are just the plain fried wings. Make sure you get buffalo sauce on the side when you order your wings. They claim if wings are red then they are buffalo.

I got my chef salad and it's my favorite order they have.

The food is delicious and Service is awesome as fast place as you can't imagine. I got my chef salad

    Quicks Chicken Cheese Steak Combo

I just ordered from Quicks because all my boys recommended me to try their food and they did not disappoint! The chicken cheesesteak was really well seasoned and super tasty and I they gave a ton of cajun fries. I can eat a lot, but the portions were huge for the sandwich combo (I couldn't finish the fries lol). They also threw in 3 bags of ruffles chips, which I didn't even ask for, which was really nice! The mixed platter was also pretty good, not the best I've had, but definitely well seasoned. I liked the white sauce, but my recommendation for the halal platters would be to add more rice and to make an in house chili based hot sauce for the platter. Everything overall was delicious and portion size with the price of the food, is something you can't beat! :)

    Chicken cheese steak

Quicks is a landmark of sorts in Paterson. Its a small convenience store that coincidentally also has great food. It's open 24 hours which is great but I'm told that if you're there late you should probably look over your shoulder. To be fair though, you should do that anywhere in Paterson at any given time. The workers here are pleasant and service is pretty fast. I had the chicken cheese steak sandwich with a side of fries. The portions were rather large and the prices are really cheap. The sandwich was juicy, the chicken was marinated well, and it was very cheesy. The fries were surprisingly great as well. The parking is rough and the place can be really busy at times so I recommend ordering ahead. I'll definitely be coming here again. Its a great place to get a good sandwich when most other places are closed except Wawa and Quick Check but their sandwiches are gross so don't go there.

    Philly cheesesteak w/fries

So this place opened probably a little over a month ago about 10 blocks away from my house and this place couldn't have been a more awesome addition to the neighborhood! It's your regular convenience/food mart but the deli/hot sandwiches are beyond delicious. Their Philly style cheese steak is killer and the seasoned fries are great. Prices are also insanely affordable! Finally a place where you can go to anytime *literally* or even have delivered for a reasonable price and huge amounts of food! The owner(s) are super friendly too. A++++++ So glad to have this place close by!

If you're looking for a good cheat meal, this is the place. It's greasy, crispy and salty. So bad for you, but tastes so good! Chicken cheesesteak and chicken cutlet subs are my go-to! Open 24 hours and meal comes with a bag of chips.

Love the imported sweets/chocolates they have!

Not always the easiest spot to get parking (the lot can fill up for sure) and sometimes there's a wait, but the bagels are always super fresh and delicious. When I was in there, I saw the stuffed bread. After a bit of a conversation about what was in them I opted to get two of them one with broccoli Rabe And one with mixed vegetable vegetables. Boy were we both unhappy with what we got. My boyfriend's father found his braciole and sauce to be so salty it was inedible. He likes food and he is rarely disappointed in an Italian meal. But he said it was so bad that he couldn't even eat it. He ended up throwing it away. I was equally disappointed. Maybe more so. There was no way that vegetable roll was made that day let alone any sooner than two days before. It was so stale. It was hard as a rock. And I hadn't even heated it up. I cut into it right after I brought it home. It also tasted stale. I ended up throwing it away too. Broccoli Rabe roll was a tad better. It wasn't hard as a rock. But it wasn't fresh either. It tasted meh. The only thing I was happy with are the prepackaged taralli. They were imported and were lovely. Go there for the prepackaged imported food products. Don't waste your money on the dicey homemade food experience.

Nestled in an old world-like, half Sicilian half Albanian neighborhood, right across from the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Montevergine, the entire experience took us pleasantly back in time ... salumeria along the wall, aged provolone hanging from rope, and just about every handmade delicacy you could imagine.....and some new ones we hadn't seen before... Then there's .... the bread..... the bread.... Nowhere in America is there bread like this. This is the real deal (NOT the chain supermarkets--you know who you are) that offer supposedly "Italian" or "French" bread with marshmallow softness attributed to all the preservatives and polysorbate 80. No Signore, this bread contains all the goodness of that crispy crunchy exterior with pure angelic cloud interior that melts in your mouth! Bread this good can be eaten as dessert... (if there aren't any cannolis around).... Yeah they got those here too... We couldn't decide, and we were running late so we ended up grabbing a loaf of semolina bread just in from the oven and a container of Sicilian olives (with pits! Don't waste my time with pitted olives that taste like salted cardboard). Could say more but why? Veni e guarda (look and see for yourself)... Highly recommended. We'll be back! Ce' vediamo dopo.

Mr. Anzalone…read more(who turns 70 in June of 2025!) and Vitamia (nipping at his heels with about 60 years of being in the biz). I've made my way here now a few times and for whatever reason - Siri will only get me to the general area but just won't 'accept' Vitamia's specific/actual address. (I know I've 'arrived' when I see the crisscrossing of American and Italian flags at the start-and-end of the blocks denoting a very little Little Italy portion of the town.) And don't get me started on how jacked the entire length of Harrison Avenue is - causing my poor car's suspension and axle to suffer - or how much gas I usually waste when continually circling the block looking for a (legal) parking spot. Crankiness aside... for a small 'basic' deli they sure do pack a punch. An incredible selection of legit (crunchy) breads, a slew of prepared platters and meals in the refrigerated cases, all sorts of goodies hanging from hooks and then there's the freezer with an absurd amount of specialty ravioli, tortellini, tortelloni, mezzelune, cappelletti, gigante, agnolotti, fagottini... Two guys behind the counter (casually speaking Italian to each other) are able to keep up with all the foot traffic (that never seems to let up) and a few guys manning the ovens in the back that are continually refilling the metal bins by the cash register. (With 800 days of Duolingo under my belt I was tempted to try, "È delizioso. Mi dai la ricetta?" when leaving but flaked out and just went with, "Grazie mille!" which... fell flat.) Parking (as mentioned before) stinks. For every item I've tried and loved (stuffed breads, stuffed pastas) there's been a few that were major disappointments, unfortunately. Their pricing is a tad too rough on my wallet. On a prior visit I dropped over $80 and I made a mental not to not do that again. Most recent visit? Over $100. So, yeah... that's not good. (And just in case you give a hoot - Glenn Anzalone is better known by his stage name of 'Danzig'. Now go and crank some early Misfits songs and thank me later!)
