Overpriced indeed. I requested a rather simple hem to be attached to a dress. I even supplied the fabric. They quoted me $58 not including tax. I also don't like the process of dropping my item off while I wait days to recieve an overpriced quote only to have to return to pick up my unfinished dress. It just seemed like a lot of wasting time for something that's still not fixed. There are many tailors available. So disappointed I could cry! First, the dress fit perfect before and just wanted to see if the pleads in the middle could be taken out or in.... They told me it could. I got the dress back and it's taken out EVERYWHERE when all I wanted was the skirt to be taken up. Not sure why they touched the top!! It's so frumpy and too big now and the pleads are still there. They also didn't even bother to sew back this little belt that they clearly had to take off. There is also a stain that was not there before. To top it off they told me they would not work on the dress until I received a text and approved payment. Almost a week went by and two days before I was suppose to pick up I called and they said the dress had already been worked on even though I did not get a text. As soon as I hung up the phone, I got the text. That was extremely odd to me. Not sure why there's so many good reviews on here.... Had this wonderful family business take care of a suit I needed tailored for my 20 year high school reunion. I dropped the suit off on a Friday afternoon and they had it ready the next day at the same time. I have a pair of banana republic wool slacks that I wanted taken in on the waist from a 36 to a 34 and i wanted the legs made into straight legs. This place works absolute magic but I have altered men's pants only. I am usually 32x31, so I always purchase 32x32 and alter the pants and I have readjusted waist sizes as well. They are super quick and do an amazing job. They are very technological as well, they give you a paper slip, but everything is paid on an iPad and you get a receipt via text or email. Then they text you as soon as your item is ready. Fast and efficient, the prices might be a tad high on other alterations, but its $15 for men's pants. read more

Few months earlier came here to get measured for a wedding to take place in New Orleans later this year. Sent measurements to tuxedo company in NO n was informed by them that we would need to have suit worked on such as hem of pants, Once suit was delivered to us we decided to go see Joe again since he was the one that did measurements. Joe requested FOB to put suit on n was surprisingly happy that it was perfect on him that all was needed was to hem his pants. As good as it gets! I had some customer service issues with a few other tailors when trying to get alterations on my wedding dress, so I had to go back to the drawing board. I found Quick Fix on Yelp, and decided to check them out. I was uncertain at first because it wasn't specifically a "wedding dress" shop, but everything changed when I walked in. Joe and his team are so professional and made me feel completely at ease. They send all the pricing quotes by email and don't start work until you approve. They film and photograph the fitting sessions so there are no doubts during the alterations process. And they remembered and called me by my name every time I came in. At the last minute, I decided to have one of my grandmother's old dresses altered for my rehearsal dinner, and they did that with no problem! My gown had a very fitted silhouette, so I had to by it a few sizes up. It needed lots of work at the waist, and they didn't stop until it fit like a glove - even adding in some darting to the bodice. I felt like a million bucks, and I didn't pay nearly that much! Found out on Wednesday that they wouldn't be able to finish until the following Monday. When I brought up the fact that the employee had ensured me that the pants would be done by Friday, their response was "you can come pick up your pants and find someone that can do it faster," as if we weren't already mid-week. How inconsiderate of a business to not even make an attempt to follow up on the promise they made? Complete disregard for the idea of quality customer service.
