I hadn't been here in years because I wasn't a fan of some seasoning they used they didn't agree with me, but we were close and my son wanted gyros. It was right before the lunch rush so it was just us in the dining area, which only has about six or seven tables and a small counter. We just ordered a couple of standard gyros since we weren't trying to be bogged down while out and about. The gyro meat was piping hot, the sauce and veggies were cool and crisp, and the gentleman taking and making our order was very nice and polite. Def would come back. I'm updating my review to four stars since that flavor didn't seem present this time. My husband and I ate here one evening, and the food was amazing. We had the vegetarian mix vegetable platter and the falafel platter. Everything on the plate tasted pretty authentic. We have traveled to the Middle East in the past and I can say that their food tasted pretty much the same. The food servings were generous and the prices reasonable. The gyros are quite good. However, this last visit I had the falafel platter; it wasn't great - the falafels were actually over done, slightly burnt taste, so that was disappointing. The hummus was rather thin and had some whole chickpeas in it. The salad was just the same chopped veggies they put on the gyros. If you want a quick and decent gyro, then this place is fine, but if you want high quality Mediterranean food, look elsewhere. read more

I've been to this restaurant twice. Both for take out and after the first disappointing trip I decided to give them another chance, to no avail. In my opinion the value for price is very poor. We got gyro plates for $17.99. On both occasions the portion size was very small: mostly rice, maybe 1/8 cup of tzatziki, and maybe 1/8 of a pound of meat. Their pita is also not fresh baked and can be found in any Safeway or Costco. For $18 one should not be left hungry at the end of their meal. The rice also stained the bottom of the paper to-go container with a layer of grease. Next time I will drive 10 minutes further into Lynwood for a proper portion at another Mediterranean restaurant. read more

The guy at the counter mentioned about the pricing and recommended order over phone/ at the store for a better deal. It's not a big place. Handful of seatings available. Ambience looks casual. Looked very neat and clean. The food was warm and well packed. Must say all the items were quite delicious. Lamb warp was served with hummus, mix salad and tahini sauce. Portion was just right. Mixed vegetable sandwich was nice surprise - never tried that before. Falafel, cauliflower, lettuce, hummus and onion wrapped in pita. Really enjoyed the flavor, and the fried cauliflower flower definitely contributed to it for sure. Chicken gyro platter has good portion - grilled chicken, rice, greek salad and tzatziki sauce. The chicken was tender, well cooked and had a nice flavor. As a platter, it was just perfect - items were complimenting each other, especially the tzatziki sauce. Overall very happy with food. When I walked in I wasn't greeted. The guy working made me feel like I was being rude for coming in (seemed like I was bothering him or like he was mad..) I ordered a Greek salad (no meat) for my friend and then Greek fries. I got a chicken Greek salad for myself. On their menu inside, it says the Greek salad (no meat) is $7.99, and that the chicken one is $9.99 (photo attached) So I'm wondering why I was charged $9.99 for each one? Then it's $0.80 for a side of dressing (photo attached). I also noticed that there were no onions on either of our salads, but it says on the menu it was supposed to have onions. Update: Beware that this place has changed names and ownership since most of their 4 and 5 star reviews. Once again, my husband and I got something completely different than I have had in the past despite ordering the same exact thing recently. One month ago, a Gyro salad had romaine, onions, bell peppers, pepperoncini, tomato, cucumber, olives, and a Greek vinaigrette. Sometimes, a dollop of tzatziki, and some toasted pita on the side. Today, it had finely shredded iceberg lettuce (crap), finely diced cucumber, tomato (I said no tomato), feta, no peppers at all, no pepperoncini, no onion, no vinaigrette, drowning in tzatziki and meat, just a big sloppy mess, and no pita. I made my own pita at home. What gives? Quick Gyro can be 1 Star one day and 5 star the next. It's so unpredictable that I can't bear to even waste my money or time on the Russian Roulette you play coming here. For the love of God, can you guys PLEASE standardize your menu to somewhat resemble the same thing every time I order? . I'm done. Previous review: Under previous ownership, I yelped this restaurant 5 stars. Sadly, I can no longer do the same. Since changing hands, it has been the least consistent Mediterranean/Gyro place in the area. You can order the same exact meal three different times and get something different each time. Today, I ordered a classic gyro with no tomato and my husband ordered a beef shawarma plate. What we got was a gyro covered in tomato, and a gyro plate (shaved gyro meat and not the pictured shawarma). In previous orders, we've asked for a gyro plate and have gotten either a) a really good entree with perfectly cooked meat, b) undercooked meat covered in paprika, c) gyro meat mixed with bell peppers (not advertised or pictured), or today, undercooked meat that was exceptionally spicy hot but with no detectable spices or peppers on top. I really want this place to succeed, but I can't support them if I get something different or wrong every time I order. Hopefully management will see this and take note.
