Dropped car off just to see if i needed new rotors. They looked at it for maybe 5-10 minutes and charged me $121.00 which I was never told in advance. Bill also included a miscellaneous charge of $16. I told them I was going to take it to another place. They wanted to charge me almost $800 for new brake pads and rotors. One employee can make or break a business. Last Sep I had Quick Land rework the brakes on my S560. The lady who waited on me was efficient and really knew her products and service line. When the time came to pay she gave me a military discount and waived the credit card service fee. Sadly, for Quick Lane, she left for another job. Recently I went there to purchase 2 new tires. The first person who waited on me was a point shy of nice and did not seem to know what she was doing and pawned me off to another sales person. He seemed to know his products but refused to waive the credit card fee. I just came from a competing tire store who matched QL's price, gave me a military discount, and did not charge a service fee. I placed my order there, $1100+. I don't know what the markup is on tires but assuming a markup of 25%, instead of making $250 (minus the 3% service charge) on my sale QL got a whopping $0. And as long as they put an additional 3% charge on my purchase I will shop elsewhere. read more

I have been using Quick Lane for around 3-4 years. Up until now I got great service. Not this time. I need new brakes and some other small work. Their brake guy doesn't work weekends, and I can't drop my car unless I have a loaner. If you go to Quick Lane's website, you will see a banner across the main page that highlights the fact they have loaners. Don't be fooled. They don't. To make matters worse, I spoke to a manager in Stivers' shop (they own Quick Lane). The manager said "I haven't seen a loaner since April!" Wow. Good information. I won't have my brakes done at Quick Lane, nor any subsequent service. Stivers made no excuses. It was basically "If you don't like this, then tough s#@t" Well "tough s#@t" when it comes to my business. The Stivers guy couldn't give a damn if I was unhappy with their customer service. Maybe they read Yelp reviews. Maybe they will start adhering to their own "promises" ("Loaner Cars Available"). read more

I had my oil changed twice there. The first time the technician ran excitedly in to tell me he pulled a nail from a tire. It was my lucky day as they just received a shipment of my tires. I resisted the panic, left and took my car to Costco where they could not find any problems with my tires. At a recent visit the technician asked me to look at something. I saw oil splashed around under the car. The manager said he needed to schedule an appointment for me with Stiver Ford, the owner of Quick Lane, to fix this horrible problem. There was no answer when I asked why I didn't see a drop of oil in my driveway. Instead of going to Stiver, I took my car to Collier Ford. Collier said the O-Ring on the oil drain plug needed to be replaced and that is something they always include in their oil changes. I don't think I will trust my car to Quick Lane again. They may be a fine place to do business with, but I no longer want to deal with this place. read more

Brand new business, located at probably the busiest intersection in town. It's owned by Stivers Ford & they apparently own another Quick Lane location at their dealership, but this is the new one at the corner of Taylor & Vaughn. However, expect dealer prices here & the typically dealer BS screw-job as well . . . All I wanted was my AC recharged & my tires rotated. They claimed that one of my CV joints was bad & needed replacing, which they allegedly noticed when rotating the tires, but I heard no clicking during turning which you normally hear when you have a bad CV joint. They told me it was $120, so I told them to replace it, no big deal. Then they called and said the reason the freon was low as because of a bad hose. They didn't mention any cost to replace, so i figured they'd do it as part of $140 they charged to service the AC. Wrong about that --- they charged me $210 plus labor for that, which i didn't find out about the back end. Then they charged $210 for the CV joint plus labor. Keep in mind I was told it was $120 installed, which is about right as the part is really like $45. I expected to spend $175 when I dropped it off. I wound up spending just under $700 and all I wanted was my AC recharged & my tires rotated. You are a total fool if you take your vehicle there for anything after reading this. read more

I came here with my boyfriend to have work done on his car and from that moment our experience went down hill. The negligent worker at the computer somehow charged him twice and didn't even seem to notice until my boyfriend checked and came back to the establishment only for the staff to look at the security cameras and realized he was right. Then to make matters worse the appointment took longer than we expected so circumstances pushed us to get a rental car. Not only did the staff fail to get our insurance information, but didn't put a tag on the rental. Unfortunately while rushing to leave there and go to work we got a speeding ticket that was ENTIRELY my fault I understand but because of failure to have a tag and no insurance information with the car the total price for the tickets came up to $800. We had to go back and fourth from Quick lane to the court because the manager JEFFREY made up a document and said that's all that we needed but that was wrong. Luckily we got the tickets thrown out in court but the multiple trips back and fourth wasting our gas and money, also his nonchalant attitude showed poor customer service. He just kept repeating the fact that we got the ticket which is clearly evident but you can tell he was just telling us anything he could so that we would leave. After all this my boyfriends brakes are still squeaking and I would rather go to a different auto repair shop and pay whatever the amount than to go back into this shop with incompetent staff. read more
