I recently got an oil change and tire rotation. It took almost 2 hours and there was only one person ahead of me. On my way home I noticed the change oil notification had not been reset, no problem. Then I get a notification that my tire sensors were not working, as well as my airbags, my abs and front end sensor, plus the cruise control. I take it back to them the next day for them to check, and also noticed my oil was leaking as well. Well apparently I got there too close to closing, so they told me to bring the car back tomorrow. They didn't even offer to top off my oil. So I take it back the next day. Note this is accross town, and the price of gas was still high!! Trip number 3, they got the oil light reset, plus all of the other notifications stayed off for a whopping hour. They topped off my oil and tightened a seal, but said that they originally told me that my oil pan needed to be replaced, and that my car barely had any oil in it when I brought it in for the oil change. At the present, I have faulty tire sensors, airbags, no cruise control, no blind spot warnings, no front end sensors, plus, every time I start my car it stalls as a safety feature for at least a fourth of a mile. In essence, a simple oil change and tire rotation has turned into a complete nightmare that's going to cost me way more than I can afford!! I thought these were good honest mechanics at first, but I know now not to let them anywhere near my car and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy!!!! read more

I requested service for my CV axle and to replace my oil pan. It was pretty pricy for my liking but they got it done while I was at work and paid for my uber over there after. When getting it back the heat shield did scrape a tiny amount but the mechanics can't tell that until it's test driven, which it was. They were really cool, other than the heat shield, that the did fix I'd give it 5 stars and I'll go back. read more

THE WORSE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR MADISON AVENUE (DOWNTOWN MONTGOMERY) ..... I took my car to get my tires rotated and they supposedly changed my oil and didn't rotate my tires. So after I went back to get my car they told me I couldn't bring my car back because I needed three new tires but I took my car to get it inspected by another company and they told me my tires were still good. And I also let them check my oil and they didn't even put enough oil in my car. After I took it back the next day, the employee still didn't add enough oil to make it fill to the top of the dot on the stick. I asked him "doesn't it suppose to be on the first dot at the top" and his response was "No, it supposed to be in between the dots" read more

I was in town for a meeting for the day and badly needed a new tire and front end alignment. This business is within walking distance to most of downtown Montgomery, so I decided to try them out. I dropped my truck off before 8, and they texted me around 11 that they were done. At around $300 for service, I think the cost was reasonable for a new truck tire and alignment. Actually had an appointment today at Gipson for 7am to fix the sensors that went off in my car let Friday got there the guy never checked my car to to see what's going instead put me down for today. Got there waited 2hours and guess what they didn't fixed anything I asked them to fixed instead they changed my oil, mind you I just got my oil change Friday the 3rd, they never asked or anything so I will be there tomorrow asking for my money I paid the dealership to change my oil that was 89.21. BUYER BEWARE! Gipson's will offer you a good deal on the front end, but if you ever have any trouble with their service or product they will make you pay. I had four new tires installed on my wife's vehicle and she hit a nail 3 hours after we picked it up. When she took it back that afternoon, they said they could patch the puncture, but allegedly the sidewall was also damaged and the tire would have to be replaced. The manager told her he did not have any option but to charge her the full cost of a new tire. When I called the manager, he reluctantly gave me other options, but I was still forced to buy their upgraded warranty package for a tire that was 3 HOURS old. If I had to guess, the tire was damaged before it was even put on the car. The Gipson brothers are obviously running a racket and I would recommend you steer clear of this operation. read more
