They answered all questions I had regarding the process and the actual inspection. They were able to get me scheduled in under 24 hours, which was important because of an encroaching deadline. What ultimately swayed my decision to use Truview was the price. Other competitors, after offering a military discount - which Truview does not - still ran $100 above Truview's cost and didn't include the wind mitigation and four point inspection. The inspector (Armanni) was great - he arrived ahead of schedule and was polite and professional, and was very clear with his explanation of findings. The report was received within approximately an hour of the inspection completion, and all 97 pages detailed every possible deficiency you could imagine - from serious to ridiculously cosmetic. After receiving my report, I was unable to send the 4-point and wind mitigation reports by email for our insurance quotes. A quick call to Truview remedied that, and within 10 minutes each report was sent individually by email to permit easy transmission to the insurance company. Very happy with our choice.

We recently used this company for our house inspection and during the inspection period leading up…read moreto closing everything seemed fine. They pointed out some obvious issues and whatnot and we acted accordingly leading up to closing. After closing, our cable installer opened the attic and immediately noticed that there were rat droppings and evidence of infestation. We called out pest control who then confirmed that this was a persistent and long standing infestation of roof rats which were there prior to the inspection period. There were pictures provided in the initial inspection report showing that the inspector did indeed inspect the attic and failed to disclose any pest issues whether it be the clear and obvious evidence of rats as well as evidence of termites. I then tried to contact them and get some financial recourse due to this obvious oversight and clear failure and their response i have attached which is clearly intended to waive any of their responsibility. They claim that the scope of the inspection did not cover pests however when there is such obvious evidence immediately visible within the attic opening they deliberately omitted this information. This behavior is clearly negligent. If you quickly glance through the other reviews of this company you will see that their business model is to nickel and dime you for specific services and take zero responsibility for their inspection reports. I personally would expect better business practices and accountability and would never use this company ever again. I have also used other companies who do a much more thorough job, are cheaper, and offer more comprehensive services regarding pest, water damage, etc... Let this be a warning to anyone considering this company that you can expect a subpar job, no accountability, and to overpay.
