I went there on a Sunday morning. They opened up at 9am, but I got there around 8:45am. I've passed by this place too many times to count and there were always packed! I told myself I wasn't going to be waiting for hours, so I wanted to be first! What do you know???! I sure wasn't the first one there!! Lol I was in second place. But my car still got done in a timely manner. I'd say about and hour. They first vacuum your car, then they hand wash it, and wipe down the inside. After they take it to another section where they shine your tires, and focus on the interior some more. I am so happy I gave this place a try. I paid $30 to wash my car and it was well worth it!!! I really appreciated the fact that they worked fast,but still payed close attention to detail. I am so over paying for my car to be washed and they rush, and don't do a good job! The last time I came here was nine years ago, it was horrible then and still is now, I never returned because of awful service. I decided to give them another chance and stopped by today to get my car cleaned for the New Year. Figured must be new management after so long. The attendant at the front talked me into a VIP package, assuring me it included vacuuming, cleaning, and Armor All. After waiting over 40 minutes, I watched as my car was repeatedly skipped while other vehicles were finished. I eventually left with a dirty car, and a headache, and lost thirty something dollars! When I asked to speak with a manager and requested a refund for services not provided, I was met with a dismissive and condescending attitude and no attempt to resolve the issue. Staff initially spoke to each other about me in Spanish assuming I was white and wouldn't understand, and when I responded in Spanish, the tone shifted to being patronizing. So repulsive! I paid for a service that was never provided. So basically they stole my money. Hope they enjoy it! With so many car wash options in Baytown, I genuinely don't understand why anyone would choose this one. Save your time and your money.

I had also just stopped in Alabama and spent a fair amount of time at that Buc-ee's location. Baytown Buc-ees was a stop I made at about 3:30pm on 6/10/26 and I knew I was going to battle Houston traffic to get to Austin! I was able to purchase some nuts and snacks here and the store was consistent with other stores in the chain-- tons of food, super clean restrooms, mesmerizing merch, and plenty of gas pumps. Along with my love of Buc-ee's, I also have a ton of perks at Starbucks and was pleased to see that there was a store next to Buc-ee's. I was able to get a cold brew and be on my way in 30min. Fastest Buc-ee's/Starbucks stop on my trip! I guess it possible to do a quick stop at Buc-ee's, but before I left I saw a manager and asked her if this was the first Buc-ees and she said in a polite TX voice, "No sir, we are store #34" She also let me know that the first store was in Clute, TX. Knowledgeable staff!! Since I live near the first Chipotle I was curious. I didn't get to visit the 1st Buc-ee's store or the first In and Out Burger on this trip but there will be more. :) I did visit the first KFC and museum in Corbin KY! lol
