I really like this location! It's the only place I go to to get my oil changed. I'm usually in and out within an hour or so. They're always super transparent with what they think should be done with my car, but never pressure me into getting anything. Today I told The Man! ‍, who is working that I had a specific budget and he helped me get everything I needed done for the car, suggested things that I should get in the future once I have my finances in order, and got me down below budget. My only complaint is that I've gone here twice now, and each time my hubcaps have been put on incorrectly. They've ended up falling off in traffic and I have had to have them replaced twice. Jiffy Lube Representatives Last week was extremely stressful for staff. Apparently they were short staffed yet strived to be successful. I waited for an hour; No problem because in the end all my questions or concerns were answered promptly. I went to Jiffy Lube to get an inspection because I want to drive for Uber Ridesharing & Lyft. Side note: I was one of the first Lyft drivers in my city. In relation to Lyft & Uber it was imperative I complete my inspection on set day. I ordered a back windshield wiper. The value of the blade was close to $20. The Jiffy Lube representatives waited for the part to delivered and installed it for me on spot. Overall, I had a fantastic experience per usual. So this day I came in kneading just a general oil change as it was due time and the drive through was, I mean, quick. They did it press on me any other services that I didn't need or ask for I love that they do have a printout on your receipt that does give you recommendations for your next visit to consider because everyone loves any service that doesn't push their service on you. And they're at Jiffy Lube, they were very kind and priced me accordingly, to the service that I was requesting, I was literally in and out in minutes. I think I made one little loop around the parking lot. Just to go. I'm not sure why there is so much turnover in personnel at this particular store. I just got the oil changed today and, surprise surprise, there is a different manager and a new trainee. The service was prompt, and thorough. The manager, Eric, is friendly, informative, and (compared to past managers) low pressure. Jiffy Lube often offers coupons, as do other oil change establishments, and the coupons at Jiffy Lube are substantially a better value in my opinion. Horrible service. I walked in with a 2024 audi q5. Asked before hand if they had the VW euro filter and DW-20 oil. They said ofcourse they did, which was nice of them. Got to the place and immediately Eric harrased me for my address. Saying its BAR regulations to provide him with all my information. I have brought my 3 vehicles here for at least 4 years. I was never asked for my address, only zip code. They continued to say "it is by law and BAR regulations". An easy jiffy lube terms of service search says and quote "4. YOUR CHOICES ABOUT COLLECTION AND USE OF YOUR INFORMATION You can, of course, choose not to provide us with certain information. Please note, however, that certain information may be required in order for you to obtain services from a Jiffy Lube® service center and/or participate in contests and promotions." I felt uncomfortable doing the oil change after because I didnt want them to mess with my vehicle as a "get back at him" situation. He continued to be extremely rude. No one came to my car to greet me yet a car pulled up to my right and was immediately greeted and talked to! Very disappointing!! Service has been sketchy this location for years now!! Rating 1 for JIFFY LUBE in sheldon, Rd is too much. Just an oil change, that took over an hour to do and that's with less customers. They checked the car coolant, saying it's too much coolant. I trust what they said to me, but this people did not tell me that they will drain out all my car coolant completely! If you come here, prepare to wait over an hour before even being checked in. I explained that I was planning to leave the lot while they worked on my car's oil change so they could check me in and I could leave them the key to my car for when they are ready (because there were so many cars ahead of me and they seemed like it would be a while). They said they could check me in if I don't mind waiting 15 minutes. But instead they made me sit in my car for an hour before checking me in... waiting until there were cars behind me and in front of me so I couldn't leave. Had I known it would be like this, I would have left and come back on a day that I have more time in my schedule. But, now I don't think I will come back to this location ever again. Edit: Once my car got looked at, I have to say they did do a good job and didn't try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need. I'm not really happy with the service I got today. I don't normally post negative posts. I normally only do extremely good ones. But unfortunately I am hurt and upset that I would be taken advantage of. I always use JiffyLube for all my maintenance; and yes they always give us new issues to buy with our vehicles. I always give them the benefit of the doubt. Well today, they said I need a new serpentine belt. I asked if they can show me the belt afterwards to see it's cracks and wear and tear. Well ladies and gentlemen, after I paid for a serpentine belt replacement along with my $100 oil change; my old belt looks immaculate. The belt they said was old and cracking, is brand new. Waited over a half hour before I was approached..then to say someone will help you 5 min later. 30 minutes go by and I have to get out the car to see how much longer. They then tell me they are short staffed. I can respect if I am informed when I arrive but nothing... it has now been an hour and 20 min. There was 1 car in front of me. I'm now blocked in. There were 2 cars in front of me and it took them about 5-10 minutes to help me. They were straight to the point with what they'll be doing and gave me an estimate. Stay away from this location!!! They damaged my car and did not take responsibility for it. I took my VW Passat for an oil change on a Saturday morning. After I drove my car out of the garage on the next day, I notice fresh oil stains on the floor (I had never had ANY oil leak from that car). I took the car back to this Jiffy Lube and explained that oil had started leaking from the car after having an oil change there. They examined the car for a while, saw the big oil mess that had created under the car then came up with the theory that it was just dirty because they didn't clean properly after changing the oil about 1 1/2 day earlier. I took the car back home and the leak continued, creating big stains on my driveway and garage floor. I took the car to a repair shop who confirmed that it was a leak from the oil filter cap. I ended up having to spend more money to have that corrected and the oil mess cleaned up. I'm never going back to this location and I strongly recommend everyone to do the same. read more

I went here to get an oil change and wheel rotation maintenance for my car before I make a 12-hour trip, because it's an old car. After the service, 6 hours in the trip, my car started making sounds whenever I press the brakes. Weeks passed, because I mainly need my car to get from A-to-B, I took my car to a repair shop to get checked. Turns out they forgot to put the bolt back in for the breaks. I drove for 12 hours not knowing that there was a chance that I could've crashed because of one missed bolt. I come here every 3,000 miles. Everyone here is kind & helpful. The service is fast and there's no hassle. I've been having oil change for almost 3 years on this branch with the same car (2013 Mini Cooper Countryman). But this morning, one crew told me that my car can not be serviced because they don't have the tools for it. I just had an oil change after 5k (almost 2 months) of the said branch. Why the sudden change? When I reasoned out that I've been a customer for years with the same car, they popped the hood and had a change of decision that they can actually do it. Then, the clerk came with an unwelcoming rude behavior, asking about my mileage. So I had a change of heart, canceled their service. Really disappointed! I was on Sheldon Rd. on the turning lane onto Bruceville during the peak of traffic time, when my car suddenly died on me! I had no jumper cables and a line full of cars behind me -- pissed off. I don't know what miracle sent Alison from Jiffy Lube to me but she was the car right behind me. She knocked on my window, while I was in distress of not knowing what to do. She asked if I had any jumper cables, which I did not have any. She walked down the row of cars stuck behind me asking folks if they had any cables. She found a lady who had cables and was willing to jumpstart me. I am not sure of the lady's name but she was driving a blue SUV. She pulled up in front of me and had to dangerously maneuver her vehicle - in traffic to turn it at an angle to jumpstart me. Alison, from Jiffy Lube hooked my car up and got it started up again! I was able to get back on the road again, where it died 2 additional times but I was able to get it into a parking lot and safely off the road. No words can express how thankful I am for Alison and the lady in the blue SUV. I had no clue on how I was going to move my dead car off the road in the middle of traffic. After having no lunch being able to get in to get my oil changed at the EG location to Saturday's ago, I decided I try again with this location. The EG location mentioned that I'd need an appointment to ensure that I wasn't waiting all day as they filled up pretty quick, so I assumed the same for the Sheldon location. So I called to make sure, but the Sheldon location doesn't make appointments for oil change, so I stopped in not long after they opened. This location is off of Sheldon & Bruceville, and is right next to Shell gas station on the corner. I arrived around 8:45 and walked inside, there was know one at the register when I first walked in so I waited about 5-10 minutes or so before someone came in and greeted me. At this location you'll want to pull up to the bay doors FIRST before going inside, as this is how they'll know you need service and get in work order. They will then escort you inside and were nice enough to offer me water and coffee. I got there just in time as while I waited for my oil change to be done, 3 more customers came in for service. I think I waited maybe all of 30 minutes to have my car taken care of and was out the door my 9:30. This was the faster oil change that I didn't do myself. And I checked in on Yelp and got a 15% discount on my total service. so I ended up saving like $13 dollars on my oil change. 30 minute oil change and I saved $13.....how can you beat that? read more

One of the main reasons I come to Jiffy Lube is for the extra things you get w/your oil change. The vacuuming, they wipe your windows down, and the discounts. I don't like that you can't combine two coupons. Most coupons do not allow combining, but it's the businesses that don't mind combining coupons that will be getting my business. I witnessed a veteran get told by the head manager/ that he could get his veteran coupon or $10 coupon whichever is bigger. The percentage for that particular Vet ended up $6. Why not allow him the percentage he gets off the total AND the $10 coupon? -- But if you try to reason w/the Doug, no matter how long you've come to the location, he won't budge. I've come to Jiffy Lube for over 11 years and this location more than half those years. This was my last visit. read more

Well after my previous experience with another location I was a bit hesitant on popping in, but I said I was going to try another location and so I did. The service was quick and friendly. However, I was sitting in the lobby waiting for the check out process for over 30mts AFTER my car was finished for a simple oil change. They even took a couple people prior to me that were there after me. The manager had stepped out for a bank deposit of some kind... when he returned I was still waiting for my car so I informed him of the situation and he looked very upset at the way his staff had dropped the ball. Went in for the 1st time to get oil changed. The employees here all seem like they hate their jobs and have a lazy attitude towards the way to talk to customers and in their service. They half-assed everything and I'm not even sure whether they did a good, thorough oil change or not (crossing fingers that they filled up the engine oil , not cheapstake me). 1st mark-down: The guy who attend me when I first pulled up said, "just put the car on Park and come out." I did as he said and left my key in with the engine running thinking they would pull my car in to be serviced right after I stepped out. He led me into the office/waiting area and 10 minutes later, I glance out the window and noticed that my car has not moved at all. I went back out to my car and guess what?... the engine was still running. WTF, waste of my gas yo! 2nd mark-down: The guy who ran my transaction in the office tried to trick me. He says "your iron-blah-blah-blah reservoir is low and needs to be changed immediately." I said, "I beg your pardon, what is low and what happens if it's low?" He then says "oh never mind, it's fine, just a typo." Sure it is -_-!!! He also wanted me to spend $40 to change my air filters... no way, I just changed it 2 months ago and only had to spend $15 on it back at my regular mechanic. 3rd mark-down: Price is expensive ($42) for an oil change. I wanted an oil change and a tire rotation but an hour later they told me they couldn't rotate my tires on my 2014 Ford Fusion because it wasn't possible to get the bolts off (or something along those lines - regardless though they've been rotated before at other businesses) and that was that. Since that day I have had NOTHING BUT TIRE PROBLEMS. My front drivers side had a patch before I came and needed a little air maybe once or twice a month (planning on getting new tires soon - but this is still ridiculous) but it's been over a month and closer to 2 months now and my right side tires both front and back have been having problems weekly since I brought my car here and they supposedly attempted a tire rotation but couldn't...
