He saw the number of items we had and was told exactly where the truck would need to park. Despite this, when it came time to settle the bill, the movers claimed the quote only included FIVE boxes--when in reality they moved well over 100--and that the walking distance was underestimated (100ft vs. 300ft). A two bedroom apartment with only five boxes? Seriously?! They tried to up charge us by more than $700 at the very last second, after everything was already off the truck. When I called Ramon, he was nothing like the friendly guy who came out originally. Instead, he acted clueless, dismissive, and nothing like the guy I first met. On top of that, once we started unpacking, we realized some boxes were missing entirely, and our beige couch had been delivered with stains. They had wrapped the mattresses, but not the couch--an obvious oversight. When I complained, they offered me a laughable $50 credit. After pushing back, they grudgingly increased it to $100, which doesn't even begin to cover the hassle and damage. Between the attempted last-minute price gouging, the lost boxes, the damaged furniture, and the dismissive attitude, I would never use this company again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

I called everyone, but it was Two Guys and A Lawn who returned my phone call quickly. From there, three guys showed up from the company and hand shoveled the driveway. (I started to shovel, but it was a useless, tedius thing to do.) I could finally leave my house. Once out, it seemed the rest of the world must not have long driveways! He was very honest about the treatments and recommended that my best option would be to buy a new rug vs having it cleaned since it was not overly expensive or sentimental. Both Adam and Amanda were very responsive and nice. They were able to get me booked for an appointment this weekend with only a day or twos notice.
