Everything worked fine. Just what I had expected. Have been here previously. Has a new owner. Most machines are new.

I've been going to this laundry mat for the last 3 months. The new owner has been doing a great job. It's much cleaner then before

Don't bother. It's not clean, the machines are old, broken and not at all maintained. I went on a Sunday mid-day.

So freaking annoying that you have to buy a laundry card to use the machines. I could understand it…read morefor cash, but if I'm using a debit or credit card why does it matter if I use a laundry card at the machine or the debit/credit? (Maybe because they charge a 4% fee, idk.) Parking in front and back at this place. I didn't realize there was parking in back which would have been helpful since it's a bit closer but oh well. There are lots of folding tables around, lots of laundry carts, and lots of TVs though only one seems to have any sound coming from it and it's blaring. In other words, bring your earphones or a book or something.

I like how clean & efficient this place is and also there's so many machines of so many sizes & the staff are so quiet but always cleaning or willing to help. You have to prepay on a card and that's used to do the machines and swipe you access to the bathrooms. They sell a ton of options for laundry products and snacks too and have tvs on. They offer laundry service by the pound I think there's a ten pound minimum and I've seen their results and looks like they do a good job. BEAVER alert. The first time I came my bf said let's go out back I want to show you something. We stood my a big rustic fenced in pond by there and he said I saw a beaver back here. I said that's bs but he showed me a pic. We didn't see it walked up front and wandered by the ditch deep water thing that flowed from a tunnel from the pond some hundreds of feet up and there was the BEAVER. Big ass paddle tail and wood collecting. Subsequently we've seen a stoic heron and family of geese with paddle of babies.

I had a lot of anxiety about coming to a laundry mat but thankfully my experience was pretty smooth! This place has been here for ages and I think the last time I was here was well over 15 years ago. Anywho, they have lots of washers and dryers. I came here on Memorial Day (yes, they were open!) and I got 3 washers right away. Big washer was $7.50 (sheesh!) and smaller washer was $4.50. Each washer took 30min or less to run. I also found driers right away. Driers are huge and cost $0.25 for every 10min. I gave it 4 stars because there's not enough seating, washing is expensive (or maybe I'm just blind to how much laundry mats charge nowadays) and the bathroom is dingy. Otherwise it was overall pretty clean (NO bugs/critters), there were plenty of washers and driers available and it was quick. Would recommend this place and will definietely consider coming back if I need to wash a big comforter or something.

What can you ask for in a laundromat? It's clean, cool, simple with good restrooms. The ma gives seem clean and well maintained with a cool clientele that of all ages, walks of life and races. Mellow music and good Lenny of parking in their huge parking lot. Also walkable to a few cafes and food shops.

Love letter to a Laundromat- for Laundry Day - Chicagoland Tide Laundromat!…read more I didn't think I'd ever write a love letter to a laundromat, but here we are. After years of juggling quarters, lugging detergent, and waiting endlessly for the single coin machine in my condo to free up, I tried Chicagoland Tide Laundromat--and wow, I'll never go back. Here's why: No More Hauling Detergent - Tide Laundromat automatically dispenses the right amount of detergent, bleach, and fabric softener for your load, based on weight. No guessing. No spills. No carrying bulky bottles. Scan & Go - I just scan the QR code, pay with the app, and boom--my machines are ready. The app even tells me when my wash or dry cycle is done and which machine I'm using. Productivity Rules - At my condo, I'm stuck waiting for a single washer and dryer, which means SIX loads can take half a day. At Tide, I loaded up three machines at once and knocked out the same six loads in about 20 minutes. That's a whole Saturday back in my life. No Quarters, Ever Again - I didn't have to run to the bank, hunt down an ATM, or hoard quarters like a 90s arcade gamer. Scan, pay, done. Sure, it might cost a bit more per load, but when factor in: Time spent finding quarters Waiting for machines to open up Multiple hours babysitting loads ...the value is unbeatable. My laundry used to take an entire afternoon. Now? I'm done, folded, and out the door before I could even finish a podcast. If you're still using coin laundry, do yourself a favor and try Tide Laundromat. It's the future--and it's here in Chicago.
