Place is permanently closed. Sadly. I was suprised as this was my go to for bigger items to wash.

The owner is very friendly and sweet. The laundromat is clean and maintained well, and I like that it's a quiet location. I'm very happy with how well the washers and dryers worked on my comforters. read more

Don't ever come to this laundromat. I never encountered greed in a public laundromat before until I came here. I only needed to dry my clothes and there was no attendant when I walked in. I put in my four quarters to do my load. A couple of minutes later, the operator walked in and we had a friendly chat at first. But then she asked me how long I have been waiting. I told her I have only been here a couple of minutes and I already started my load. Her reply was that I owed her an additional $1.00 because I was only using their dryer. I was stunned when she told me that!!! I asked if what I thought I heard was correct. She confirmed what I heard the first time. She said there is a sign in the window that states the rule. I was in complete shock but I gave her the money anyway. But the more I thought about it, the more it bothered me. I confronted her about the scam she was pulling on me because I never had this issue with Family Pride on Northwest Highway in Norwood Park. On top of that, I told her I was never going to do business with them again! When I took a photos of the signs that were posted, she was furious. She stopped my load, refunded me and kicked me out!!! Like I said, if you want to deal with greedy scam artists, then go to this location on Harlem Avenue in Edison Park. However, if you want to deal with honest people, go to Family Pride on Northwest Highway in Norwood Park and talk to Sherry. She will not charge you extra if you only need to dry your laundry. read more

First off, the facilities are old. I mean very old. This is probably dated back to when Matlock was a kid. But they get the high rating for the following reasons: 1) Super easy parking up front. 2) The machines seem to be maintained well. 3) It's a small place that's rarely crowded, so quiet time is nice and no bebe's kids running around actin a fool. They also have dry cleaning services, and while your waiting if you wanna grab a quick bite Subway, Wendy's, and other spots are a stones throw away from this place. And while hauling clothes out to wash them isn't exactly my favorite recreational activity to take part in, at least this place makes it hassle free as possible. read more

The service here is terrible. What prompted me to write this review was an incident that happened today. I called earlier and asked how late they'd be open, the attendant told me till 5. I knew I wasn't going to be free till 3:30 so I was like "sweet" and made my way over at 3:45. I got there at 4, only for the male attendant to intercept me at the door and say "Sorry last load is at 3:30. We close at 5." Okay so tell me that on the phone! I would plan my day accordingly. But it's 4:22 now, every other place near me is shut and I can't get there in time so it's Sunday night, I work at 7:30 tomorrow, and have no clean clothes to wear and no way of rectifying that. It's not the first time I've had an issue with their availability. My boyfriend showed up last week at 4 with a bunch of laundry and they had already shut, despite all the signs saying they close at 7. Also it's a total scam. The machines look like they're from the 80s, it's $3 for a load in a small washer and the dryers don't work. Spare yourself the time and go somewhere else. read more

The owner was nice and friendly to me and my baby and husband came at the last minute when she finna close she told us we still can come in for the last wash . She was helpful and kind, friendly. I had my baby with me she help me during the whole washer and dryer. She so sweet and nice. I would definitely come back . dryer is the best and hotter dryer I ever seen. every since I walk in the laundry she make me and my baby feel welcome. see you soon read more

The new owner are just as friendly and helpful as the previous owners. The only complaint would be it's too cold in the laundromat on my last two visits. The thermometer inside read *63, it's the middle of winter. The dryers don't create enough heat. I believe it should be closer to at least *68 read more

This place is a little outdated and not as clean as I would like. But it beats waiting for hours at home to get all my loads done. To wash in a standard washer is $2.50 and to Dry is $0.25 for 10 min of dry time. I find that 30 min is enoght to dry..even heavy items like jeans. read more

Just one experience with this firm. I needed to wash some clothes today and stopped by at 7:30 pm. Closed! Their hours of service on the door said their hours were M-F 8:00 Am to 9:pm. Obviously they aren't a serious business enterprise. Will check out the somewhat larger place in Norwood Pk as it's almost as convenient. read more

Great location close to edison park for me. Parking is great, right out front, I use the drop off service and they have a great 24 hr or 2 day turn around time every time. My only gripe is no credit card service all cash. Had to ding them a star for that one, but the drop off service is great. Cloths neatly folded in a bag for pick up and very clean. A must add for my routine and time savings. read more
