Before getting in it, we asked if we could use the extended hose to fuel from the opposite side of our vehicle. We were told no. What's frustrating is that these pumps are equipped with extra-long hoses specifically designed to reach either side of the car. Other BJ's locations--like Edison--allow customers to use them, which keeps the lines moving and dramatically reduces wait times. Instead, everyone is forced to wait for a pump on their vehicle's fuel-door side, creating backups like the one in this photo. We ended up leaving and driving to the Edison location instead. BJ's invested in long-reach hoses for a reason. It would be nice if this location actually used them to improve the customer experience.

The location has a small, but functional parking lot because it's accessible by two roads. Going in this place is extremely organized and neat. The food counter and the register are separate, which I love, I don't want the guy handling my money to handle my food. The guy that took my order was friendly, very friendly and tried to accommodate me on making my sandwich. I asked for a croissant, but they didn't have any. He offered to open a package one just to make me happy. I told him no, to just use the roll instead. What I don't recommend is that you ignore this advice and allow your security to be dressed in shades, black skinny jeans, a black hoody, and a black medical mask while they stalk your customers. I couldn't tell if this was some guy trying to take my phone and run for it, or if he was trying to hack into my shopping cards with an RFID reader (yes, thieves do that), or if he was an ICE officer trying to profile me while being undercover or what. It was so obvious. He passed me like around a dozen times while I'm trying to figure out what to get, mind my business and shop around. After confronting him directly to try and see why he was following me, he decided to get snarky. Couldn't even answer me when I asked him if he was a security officer or what. Had it been someone with less patience, he probably would have gotten punched in the teeth (seriously, some people are crazy like that). The food selection is poor, and the guys who work there are rude, obnoxious, and act rather juvenile to be working at the counter of what was once a thriving and busy deli. This is especially true of the two guys who usually work in the evenings. Basically it's about their attitudes and treatment of customers: they act as if the customers owe them something. They also have selective and random pricing, especially of cold cuts and meats. Food that is one price one day is suddenly increased. Food behind the counter and a lot of food on the shelves is not labeled, so they often decide on prices on a whim, and overcharge in the process. Not a good place to shop.
