Honestly I was pretty disappointed by this place. Maybe we got a bad sample because there was a long drive-through line and it's clearly popular. We were really excited about a Halal burger place but it's not great. We got chicken sub, Philly Cheesesteak sub, and a chicken burger. Both chicken items were really flavorless, and the included sauces didn't help much. The philly cheesecake had a little more flavor, but still a 3.5/5 at best. This place opened up recently just steps from my house. So far it has been very busy when I drive by so I had to try! The perfect opportunity came up to try it as we need a break from Thanksgiving Leftovers. We called our order in, which went well. I did find it odd they told us 20 to 25 minutes until it would be ready and they are called Quickies. When we arrived around twenty minutes it was done, so there was no waiting. After paying and receiving our ticket we did notice that only one burger of the two had bacon added (we asked that both have bacon). It wasn't that big of a deal so we did not say anything. I do appreciate that they made our drinks once we ordered so that the ice wasn't melted. Once we arrived home and looked at our goodies we noticed that the one burger we ordered and paid bacon for, did not have bacon. (Thankfully I had some precooked bacon so crisis diverted!) As for taste it was yummy. The bun was nice and soft and there was the right amount of toppings. The burger itself was a smidge in the dry side, but the American cheese melted into the patties made up for that. I did have to add more ketchup and mustard. Once I devoured the cheeseburger, I moved to my fries. They were okay. They did not seem fresh, as they were limp, but not the worst fries I've had. The onion rings were good. Much crispier than the fries and not too much breading. Overall I see myself coming back. The food was yummy and filling, and better than other fast food near by. read more

With a name like Quickie's, you think they'd be a little more "quick". Was driving down 441 tonight and needed a quick stop for a bite to eat. I walked in and you can tell it was a hole in the wall kind of joint. However, that had a huge menu so I figured I'd give the place a shot. The cashier was very nice and knew the answer to all of my allergen questions. She printed me a receipt with a number on it and I took a seat. The tables are super tiny so if you have a part of more than two you'll have to combine the tables yourself. Time went by and nothing was on the counter yet. Then more time went by and I walked back up and my food was in to-go bags. Even though I never specified to go. So I unwrap it all and say down. A friend of mine ordered a grilled mahi and it came out fried. The Philly cheesesteak looked very scarce. My wings were much bigger than expected but the fries were mediocre. After sitting on my behind for over three hours at PepBoys, I was starving. Since I was in the area, I decided to give Quickie's Burger a try. It's a small burger & seafood joint that you would see set up in the hood - offering burgers, chicken wings, and fried seafood. I greeted the female employee behind the counter and looked at the their menu on the wall. I was indecisive for about five minutes then ordered a small Quickie's original burger and small fries, which was separate. As soon as I received the food, I quickly headed home. Entering the kitchen, I sat at the kitchen table and began to partake on the fries, which was tasty...wish I could say the same about the burger. First off, the burger was visually unappealing. It was just a bland beef patty topped with some awful tasting crunchy onions and sauce between two buns. I read some of the reviews on Quickie's and some people stated that the sauce was good. Well, it had a bit of a kick to it, but for me, it didn't make the burger taste any better. Now I can smash a burger, but I couldn't make myself take another bite. So what did I do? I took a butter knife, scraped off as much of the sauce as I could, and added ketchup & mustard. I at least made it tolerable to eat instead of throwing it in the garbage. I was going to give this review two stars, but I'll give it three because I did enjoy the fries and received good service from the female employee. If I was rating the burger patty itself which I ate at Quickie's, I think I would rate my burger a 5 but overall, eating there, different things we ordered etc... The overall picture for Quickies is about 3.50-4 star rating. What I really liked: They have a ton of different speciality burgers. Like the burger I ordered was called Diablo and it had spicy peppers incorporated with the beef and it was so good and different. My husband ordered the melted which had a totally different taste to it with beef, onions, mushrooms etc. I also liked the many options of sides. We ordered mozzarella sticks (decent), onion rings (good), and okra (really good, fried okra balls). What I really didn't like: The cashier was so confused giving us over order. She messed up telling me what is what. We had 5 people in our party and she couldn't remember which burger was what. I started to eat the melted one but then it wasn't spicy. Since I had ordered the spicy one, My husband was eating the one I ordered before we both realized it. Also, my hair smelled like fried food after leaving here, since they are cooking so much fried foods as well, this is no fun. Pleasently suprised with this place! The joint is super clean and the staff was very friendly to my boyfriend and I. We told the girl that it was out first time and she gave us a little run down of the menu. The BBQ wings were amazzzzing! Some of the best I've had in awhile. The burger was good, Quickies sauce was great, bun was O-K and the fries were a bit cold, yet had a good flavor. All in all, it was a good experience. I've ordered delivery through Uber Eats a few times from Quickies. I've driven by and it looks like a run down hole in the wall off of highway 441. With that being said they did have some tasty burgers! Incredibly affordable burgers and sides. They top their burger with their signature sauce and it is just delicious. A lesson we learn as kids is--Never judge a book by its cover. This couldn't be more true for Quickie's. We were driving down 95 looking for a place to eat. As we pulled in we were instantly skeptical. The setup of the building and the run-down sign lead us to believe it is closed down. But it's not. Even when we walked in we thought to ourselves--are we really going to eat here? The answer was yes. We placed our order at the counter (they also have a drive through). There was only one girl working at the counter and, while she wasn't the fastest moving employee, she was kind and patient. The order came out relatively quickly and boy, were we surprised. The burger was so delicious! It was cooked perfectly and tasted fabulous. The quickie chicken sandwich was just as good. The quickie sauce is a must try if you go here. The fries were seasoned, cooked perfectly and delicious. If we are back in town we would come in for another burger. This place is no frills or thrills type of establishment. However... if you want great food for the amount of money you probably have in your change purse, it's totally worth it! These burgers are HUGE! Not only are they big in size, they completely taste amazing. I'm not sure if its the preparation or the seasoning, but it's always on point. Get any burger or wings (the limits of my expertise) and the fires and you're good to go. They are open super late and tend to have a line, but I've never waited too long. If I had to guess, it's a mix of mayo, tomato paste, with a dash of cayenne pepper. We ordered extra on the side for some fry dippin. I added a little ketchup to mine and O M G!!! We ordered a large so it's a 1/2 lb. burger. (Fries and a drink are extra.) Super delicious fries that are full of flavor without being overly salty. They seem like hand cut fresh potatoes that are cooked to crispy perfection on the outside, but soft on the inside. Still perfect even after a 15 minute drive home. I love wings so I have a very high standard...we ordered medium flavor and WOW! These wings are the way wings should be...naked, crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. Celery and blue cheese comes with and yum-yum get some! We did have about a 12 minute wait in the drive through (which was not a problem at all). I'm just saying that the drive through is not a fast lane to get your food here. This food is cooked to order and fresh so it's well worth the wait!! On our way back from Miami we finally decided to give this special place a try. We were looking for a repeat visit to Elevation burger in Miami but at the last moment we detoured to Quickies on 441 somewhere in Hollywood alongside a lot of construction. Once we were able to navigate the traffic and get there things got very delicious. I need to say that the burgers were amazing and reminded me of Fuddruckers burgers which used to have great food back in the day. I got the melted mushroom burger which was cooked to perfection along with fried okara, which you will never find anywhere I promise you that. They have a lot of excellent options on the menu and it will take a few visits to get to try most of the options. This hole in a wall is a must go for all broward representatives of yelp and if you are from palm beach like us you just got to be opportunistic and find a way to stop at Quickies!!!! read more
