Not gonna lie, it pains me deeply to write a negative review for a Flanigan's. I've been to flanigans a million times and definitely will a million more times, but this was my first visit to this specific location and likely the last. I ordered the 10 wings lunch special. They came out super dry and with only 9 wings. I asked the waitress for more sauce and the missing wing, and she pretty much disappeared. The people I was with were pretty much done eating, and I hadn't even started because I didn't have sauce. I asked someone else to get our waitress and she still didn't come. I ended up going up to the bar and asking for sauce, and by then, my wings were cold. Our waitress finally came back with the sauce, saw it on the table, and said "oh someone else brought it?" I told her I got it myself and she just said okay. I still never got my 10th wing. She disappeared again and now our drinks were empty for a long time and we were out of napkins. Again, I went to the bar. I apologized for bothering them and explained that our waitress disappeared, and the bartender was super nice and helpful. Eventually she came out to check on us and was again surprised that our drinks had been refilled. I again told her that I got them myself. She said she had other tables, which I get, but they definitely weren't busy and the amount of time she was gone was still super excessive. I don't blame the server but I definitely do feel the manager is responsible. He does not lead with a positive example and I think it was obvious he does not have high standards over all. Food was good, I've had better at other locations. It's a bummer this Flannigans is pretty close to me. I'll make a stronger effort to visit the other locations vs this one. I can't think of a more perfect place when it comes to naming one of south Florida's true staples. This location underwent an extensive remodel after a fire a few years ago & it's now one of the best. It's spacious, clean & has plenty to look at while you're eating. Whether it's the local game fish mounts, insane variety of lures in the display cases, or their beautiful salt water tank, it's sure to keep your eyes busy. More importantly, however, their food is mouth watering & comes in great portion sizes. I could write a book about how good their food is. They offer an incredible variety of items. Not only are there plenty of options, I'm not exaggerating when I say it's all delicious. I've been visiting for well over 15 years & can't say I've had something I didn't like. Their wings? Great. Ribs? Phenomenal. Burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, mahi mahi? All amazing. I also strongly suggest trying their rib rolls; they're game changing! What could possibly be bad about egg rolls stuffed with rib meat, pulled pork, cheddar cheese & BBQ sauce?! They'll leave you dreaming about them until you come back for more. They also offer some great lunch specials during the week. You really get a great bang for your buck. Beers are always served cold in a frosted pitcher with chilled glasses, the pours are nice on their cocktails & they also have some delicious sweet tea. Service is generally always spot on but of course I've had times where it's been iffy. It gets crowded on the weekends & during dinner but they do a good job at getting you seated & served as quickly as possible. Flanigan's has become a traditional place for my fiancé and I to at least have once or twice month because the food is consistently good. This was our first time trying out the Hollywood location since the new rebuild and let's just say, this is definitely a party vibe Flanigan's. Our waitress, Liubov, was full of energy with a great personally for how busy she was and the overall location. To keep customers coming in, you will see the manager walking around scanning for dirty tables and calling them to get them clean right away so another party had the ability to enjoy a meal and experience. Let's start with the food! We started with their Garlic Rolls which are much have. Super soft but covered in a flavorful garlic butter that you want to just scope every last drop and topped with parmesan cheese. Next, I ordered the 10 count of their famous Chicken Wings Hot w/ garlic and yes, toss them is garlic because your taste buds will that you later. These were super saucy , coated with garlic and had a nice crunch with every bite. I didn't finish all 10 because I ordered a loaded Bake Potato that came with bacon, cheese, sour cream and butter. Add a little salt and pepper to potato and mix everything together, you will be enjoying every bite before it's all gone. Lately, we order the Bonsai Brownie and this is definitely at 4+ person dessert to finish. It had a brownie at the bottom, ice cream, whip cream, KitKat, Oreo crumble and fudge. You smelt the unhealthiness the minute it was placed at the table but it was so good to eat. If you are chocolate fanatic, I recommend ordering this to try with a big part. I've been here before and have had very good experiences, which is why today was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, the service this time was extremely slow and disorganized. We ordered a beer and waited over 30 minutes for it. We also ordered a half wrap but were served a full wrap instead. We were a table of three and only received two napkins, and our food was brought out without utensils, so we had to ask for them ourselves. We were sitting outside, and it honestly felt like the outdoor tables were being overlooked while most of the attention was focused inside. There seemed to be very little organization or communication among the staff. I know this place can provide much better service because I've experienced it before, but today's visit was definitely not up to the usual standard. Flanigan's is a South Florida staple I have been introduced to because of my wife and her family. She grew up going here and I see why. The food is actually really good. They do have a few locations around South Florida. This location is near my in-law's house, so it is the one we usually head to. Essentially, it's a Sport's Bar with numerous TVs around the restaurants. Their seating includes booths, high-tops, and bar seating as well as seats outside on the patio. This particular location has recently been updated and completely remodeled in the past year. It looks very fresh and redesigned from what it used to be. Seems more open and higher ceilings. Their parking lots is terrible. I have never seen such a large restaurant with such a small parking lot. It could be very difficult to find parking, especially during football season. Inside decor is unique, in my opinion, very South Florida with fishing, boating, tons of photos of people fishing, large stuffed fish, dark wood tones, etc. Their decor is very unique. We usually have to wait for a table, even at lunch. You can wait at the bar, or if you can get one of their seats in the front. I really enjoy that they have tons of specials, both food and drinks. Most of their drink specials do involve beer but liquor specials are also available. They also have lunch specials Monday through Friday and then Meal deals, Sunday through Thursday. We usually come here for a quick lunch when we are visiting our family. The lunch special is available Monday through Friday and under $15. They also come with fries, a baked potato, rice, soup or side salad. On our most recent visit I ordered the Blackened Mahi Tacos, it was topped with a pico de gallo. The mahi was fresh and well seasoned, I also thought the pico added a nice tang and freshness. I also ordered a side of the dirty rice. It's was absolutely delicious, not too salty rice was perfect. My wife ordered the Big Daddy Burger (it's a 10oz burger that comes with 2 slices of American Cheese) this is one of her go to meals. She's of course loved it. She also ordered a side of garlic rolls. My sister in law ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich (Charbroiled chicken breast, BBQ sauce, with lettuce and tomato on a Kaiser roll) This is one of her go to meals here she loves it. My Father in law ordered his usual meal, the Chicken Philly (Sautéed chicken, onions, and mushrooms with melted Swiss American cheese on a hoagie roll) it was good because no words her mentioned during lunch. My mother in law ordered Zesty Seafood Gumbo she said it's her favorite item on the menu. It doesn't say on the menu what's in the gumbo. I meant to ask but forgot. All in all it was another awesome lunch here. My wife and I come down to Ft Lauderdale to visit the family several times a year. This is more than likely a place we will be eating. read more

The first thing that started off was the kids menu clearly states as you can see on the top that all meals come with a side we ordered the mac & cheese, and we were told sorry no side, even though it clearly states it on the Kids menu and doesn't say anywhere that it doesn't. The waitress said yeah I know, but that's what it is. The system doesn't let me bring it up differently. we move on from that and I ordered a prime rib, medium, and it came well done. I showed the waitress and she just kind of shrugged and walked away. The rest of the food was fine. The place was busy like normal. Was craving ribs and decided to stop in at Flanigan's. Walked in seated outside which we requested by a wonderful host. He went over a portion of the menu and explained who our server would be. A table that was seated way after us was served first. The ribs finally came out. My husband's meal also came with a Caesar salad and garlic rolls which were cold and not cooked long enough. These Wings were not bad, but not really better than any edible wings that ive had. The caesar salad that came with it was good. They have these garlic butter rolls, that look amazing, but they were dry and just ok. My wife and I split a chicken sandwich, which the waiter said was one of his favorite things on the menu. It was just ok. Should have been better. My daughter got the Kids Mac and cheese, it was ok. One step above craft. My daughters friend got a shrimp pasta with white sauce. I did not try this, because I don't like shrimp. She said it was good, But based on everything I ate being just ok, I would guess that it wasn't anything special. I stopped by here late Friday evening with some friends for a quick bite, but unfortunately, I was not impressed by the staff and the level of service. This location is beautiful and newly rebuilt, with a bright and lively atmosphere that you would expect from any Flanigan's if you're familiar with the chain. We were a group of five and asked to be seated as soon as we walked in. The restaurant wasn't crowded; there were plenty of empty tables, many were dirty and waiting to be cleaned ones though. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, which wasn't a big deal. A few minutes passed, and we noticed the waitstaff was just standing around, chatting with one another, while dirty tables remained unattended. After a bit more time passed and nothing had been done, someone from my group asked how much longer the wait would be. We were told they were waiting for a specific table to leave so they could clean it for us. This didn't seem very logical, considering there were plenty of other tables that were empty and just needed cleaning. Eventually, the customers left, the table was cleaned and we were seated. Our server assisted us right away, and everyone placed their orders. The food came out a little while later, but some items were wrong and had to be sent back to be corrected. Made the mistake of coming in on the Saturday before St Patrick's day. It was very busy and VERY loud. There was a bagpiper that was pleasant, but the bar staff were blowing whistles and it was so loud we couldn't hear each other from across the table. When the bagpiper was finished they turned the music on up to 90 db. I know this because my Apple Watch alerted me to the dangerous noise level! I just wanted to have a pleasant dinner and some good Flannigans food. It was so unpleasant I will think twice about patronizing this establishment. read more

I was really looking forward to coming here, the old Flanigan's was destroyed in a fire but prior to that we were always able to get good food and drinks from here. The place looks fantastic now that it is rebuilt and remodeled. It seems so much bigger than before. They offer something called Joe's Meal Deals which come with your choice of entree that also comes with a Caesar salad, garlic rolls, a side item and a drink. For only $19, my husband and I both got the prime rib. It was so delicious and perfectly cooked medium rare as we both requested. It comes with au jus and we also asked for some horseradish sauce. It was a perfect meal. Our server was awesome! Our drinks were kept full and anything we needed she got for us within minutes. They have a late night happy hour that starts at 10 with great deals and they have specials on certain days where if you order a pitcher of soda or beer you get that daily special free ( nachos, tumbleweed onions, fish dip, wings). Also, I can't forget about their great $6.99 (with a drink) lunch special. There are plenty of big screens to watch games on all throughout the place and the music they were playing was really good.
