This was a drive-thru order. Haven't been here in awhile, so since my husband was getting his hair cut near by, we stopped here first. The employee at the wonder was very attentive and nice. I don't eat chicken, but my husband does. I ate a few pieces of the conch and some fries. It was delicious. We got extra lemon pepper powder as well. :-) Also we got a flop to drink, but I forgot to take a picture of it.

Conch, shrimp and fries

Typical fried seafood restaurant and I really like it!! I ordered shrimp, fried conch, conch balls, corn nuggets, bbq wings, fries and their special drink called "The Flop" (sweet tea, fruit punch and lemonade mix) Everything was tasty and fried fresh. The fried conch could used more seasoning as is was bland without the special sauce the serve it with. Service was ok but I had to repeat my order 3 times at the drive thru speaker. I didn't say anything because I've worked at a fast food restaurant before. So I understand the stress of it all. Probably would go back for the drink and conch balls. Both were my favorite!

this is the best conch I've ever had in south Florida. HANDS DOWN !!!!!! the conch was cooked to perfection. it was so fresh and sooooooo good. a great portion for the price. the wings were perfectly cooked. I asked for them crispy and they were yummyyyy. I drove 15 minutes around 10pm just for this because I was craving conch so bad. it was so worth it. I'll definitely be returning soon !

Small Snapper Dinner

Terrible experience. Food was not good. We ended up throwing it out and walking to Burger King. Extremely disappointing!.

Choosing which lobster or yellowtail from the ice counter you want them to prepare, and how you want it prepared, is a fun part of the dining experience for us. Occasionally they have hog snapper or another fresh catch available. The fried lobster tail was fantastically seasoned with a little kick, and I've never had it prepared this way, chopped up into bite-sized pieces. Very filling and we could have shared one, but we still managed to devour both tails and left very full and satisfied. Each tail, including one side, was about $40 - but market price items vary based on size and weight of what's available that day. There are also plenty of less expensive options on the menu. One of my favorites is the yellowtail sandwich. And if you get there before 7:00pm you can order some oysters and lobster croquettes from the happy hour menu. Captain Jim's is a casual and comfortable restaurant with marine decor where the food is the star. Service is always friendly, helpful, and attentive.

The fish I order was supposed to be grouper, but it was very thin, and it was covered in a sauce with cheese that was overcooked as the cheese was not soft and melty, but rather dried and firm. We went back a second time because the pizza looked good. It was not as good as it looked, and the pizza sauce tasted sweet, so not to our party's liking. The warm rolls with butter were really good, and the burrata salad was also good. The atmosphere is lovely, but can get quite loud. If you like yelling over your meal to your table companions, there is live music playing on the weekends. I will say that the staff was very cordial. We were greeted at the door by friendly hosts, and every server who waited on us was also very nice and attentive.

One of them is 1910 Restaurant & Bar, a Spanish-inspired restaurant that blends premium steaks, seafood, and a little theatrical flair without losing sight of flavor. The meal opened with an order of Cheese Balls, crisp golden spheres that reminded me of pão de queijo, except they skipped most of the bread and focused almost entirely on the cheese. The exterior shattered pleasantly, giving way to a molten, creamy center. Paired with a pineapple sauce, each bite balanced sweet and salty in exactly the right proportions. My wife ordered the Australian Wagyu Flap Sirloin, a 12-ounce cut grilled over charcoal and served with house-made chimichurri. It was everything you hope Wagyu will be, deeply beefy, wonderfully tender, and rich without becoming overwhelming. The chimichurri added brightness without stealing the spotlight. Then came the dish that first caught my attention. The La Reina de la Casa, or "Queen of the House." At first glance, it almost feels designed for social media, a cheese pizza crowned with an enormous grilled octopus. I would be lying if I said that presentation didn't influence my order. Fortunately, this wasn't style over substance. The pizza itself stood on its own with a crisp crust and generous layer of bubbling cheese. The octopus, however, was the reason to order it. It was expertly grilled, tender without a hint of chewiness, and seasoned with a spice blend the server politely described as the chef's secret. Whatever was in that seasoning deserved to remain a secret, because it transformed an already well-cooked octopus into something memorable. Dessert brought things back to the classics with a crème brûlée. The sugar crust cracked cleanly beneath the spoon, revealing a silky vanilla custard underneath. Simple, elegant, and exactly the ending the meal needed. 1910 could have leaned heavily on flashy presentations and premium ingredients. Instead, it paired both with thoughtful execution. That's a far more difficult trick to pull off. Some restaurants earn attention because they're photogenic. The best ones earn repeat visits because the food is every bit as impressive as the photos.

The food was really good, the service was attentive, and the seafood prices were reasonable. The kids' menu had good choices and was priced well. We almost didn't go because some of the reviews weren't great, but I'm glad we ignored them and gave it a try. My husband and I are pretty picky when it comes to restaurants, and we both enjoyed everything. Honestly, some of the reviews we read didn't match our experience at all. The service at the bar was great too. I brought balloons for the celebration, and the staff helped get everything set up, which was very nice of them. From the moment we walked in, I had a feeling there might be issues. There were only three other families in the restaurant, yet it still took quite a while for the hostess to seat our party of four. After being seated, we waited nearly 20 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. Once we placed our order, the food took a long time to arrive, only for my husband's surf and turf and side of fries to come out cold. We sent the meal back, but when it returned, the steak was overcooked and the same lobster tails appeared to have simply been reheated, leaving them overcooked as well. The waitress brought over the manager, but unfortunately he was not helpful. He seemed surprised the food came out poorly a second time and simply offered my husband a sandwich instead. Overall, the service and food quality were extremely disappointing, especially given how empty the restaurant was.

Since it was not busy, the hostess was attentive and got our drinks and food quickly. All the adults had strawberry lemonade, which tasted more like fruit punch without lemon. The toddler had a fruit punch which was more flavored sugar water. The adults shared a large seafood platter (boil) since we were advised that the large was enough to satisfy 3 adults, it wasn't. Luckily we had a side of sweet potato fries, which we freshly fried, hot, and tasty. For the boil, we had the Cajun seasoning with medium spicy. We didn't think to mix up the bag before opening it because we assumed it would be mixed so all the contents would be equally seasoned, but it wasn't. Thus, the contents on the top were a bit bland. It wasn't until we got to the bottom of the bag that all the seasoning had pooled at the bottom. The potatoes should have been soaked in the seasoning too, but instead, they were bland and not seasoned/soaked through with flavor. So, the food was just okay. Wet towels were provided for clean up since the hand-wash sink was inoperable. Or, guest can wash their hands in the bathroom sink. When we were almost done eating, a large party of appropriately 10 people arrived seemingly celebrating an event. After that, our service was delayed since our waitress was also helping them. This is my second time visiting this location and my first experience was better.
