As embarrassing, as this is to admit I got locked out of my place literally the day after I moved in and called quick, pro my locksmith showed up in less than 20 minutes and got in my house in like .05 seconds lol. He was very nice and professional, even took all the keys I had, and helped me figure out which ones went with what lock, and also labeled them for me. He really did go above and beyond so I was appreciative of that. However, I clearly know nothing about the Locksmith business because I was not expecting to pay $100 for the services but I guess it's my fault after all I will definitely think twice about locking myself out again but if I did, I called quick pro because I know someone will show up and help quickly. read more

Nice company, nice people. Would use them again. I had to have a key cut for my 02 Mazda Miata, I had acquired an OEM blank key and just needed it cut and programmed. I met with "Ro" and he says he can clone my existing key for $150 with one of his generic keys instead of attempting to program my car into accepting a new key for a higher fee and more complicated process. I agreed to the less work required aspect of this. I don't want to mess with the car and all that nonsense. So now I have a blank OEM Miata Key, I don't know what to do with. Some notes: -A cloned key doesn't look like the original. In my case, the original key was tiny so I liked the normal-sized key. [See photo] -A cloned key means the car thinks there's only one key but effectively you have two. Some cars allow you to program a third key if you have two keys present, it won't work with a cloned key. Again, nice company, nice people, would use them again. read more

These guys were the first to respond when I needed my mailbox lock and key replaced. I submitted the request for a bid via the Yelp app. They were able to come out the next evening to replace the lock. The job didn't take more than 30 minutes to complete. About half way through our work day our door lock broke. I called this company and they had someone to us in 30 minutes. That was the only good thing about it. The tech said the whole mechanism would need to be replaced and cost $1500. I laughed and said "that's highway robbery"! I've been dealing with locksmiths for 25 years and I know what things are supposed to cost. He dropped it to$1080. I said ok just because we needed it done fast. Almost all the hardware was the same and the install was, well, see the picture. Edit: these guys contacted us as soon as the original review went up to fix the situation. I called QuickPro due to high number of 4 to 5 star reviews. After speaking with dispatcher, I looked forward to getting 1 key and 1 remote for my work truck and I felt the price of around $200 given by dispatcher was reasonable. Orey (spelling?) called fairly quick to confirm visit. However, he needed to reschedule 2 times from our initial appointment time of 1030, 1130, to 1200. Before and upon arrival, I verified with him what I am looking for (e.g. 1 key and 1 remote). He then gave me a price of $150 for just the key and $250 for the remote. I sensed right away a case of bait and switch. I was not happy and surprised with the price hike, and I told him I will use another company. He said, "Okay, what about $275 for 1 key and 1 remote then?" I said, "No, my budget is $200." "Okay. I'll do $250." "I am not able to pay more than $200, Orey. Let me have my key back and I will just use another company." "Okay. I will go ahead and do $200. But with a $30.00 service fee." "Orey, give me my key back and I will go with another company!" "Okay. Okay. I will do 1 key and 1 remote for $200." At which point, I texted him to confirm our conversation as he proceeded. Also, if you want to hear this meeting entirely, I have the audio recording of the above to prove this unfortunately happened. Few minutes passed, I get a call inside from Orey that he does not have a remote and he's 'gonna charge me $150 just for the key". I told him that's not what I ordered and it's not acceptable he did not come prepared. I did, however, make the concession that he gets the remote and the key to me next day, and he agreed. ***Note: After Orey left, another locksmith happens to be in the area unlocking/setting door locks for a neighboring business. I asked him what price he'd charge for 1 key and 1 remote, and $200 was exactly his number."*** Next day, Orey and I reconnected at 11am. At this time, he asked if I could pay him cash. I told him only Credit Card and must get a receipt, while finding his cash inquiry to be uncomfortably fishy. After the card was processed, I was presented a hand-written 'invoice', but the TOTAL field was left blank. By this time, I couldn't exactly trust Orey so I told him to properly fill it out before signing. He wasn't happy about this, and complained I was 'being suspicious'. Rightfully so for me to feel suspicious and I do not appreciate the aggressive sales pitch hustling me to pay more. Even more, for me to be told being "suspicious", Orey and his company should realize this is highly unprofessional. Thankfully, regardless to the negative experience I've had being hustled, I eventually got my 1 key and 1 remote. My goal with this post is to shed light for all future customers to never have to go through the same experience I went through. Good luck! ***Review 4/23/2021 UPDATED*** Received a call today 4/23/2021 from Henry (aka dispatcher) who sounded sincere on the phone with me apologizing on behalf of the company he works for. Henry acknowledged Orey was unprofessional when he complained to me being "suspicious", and he agreed Orey should have had the remote with him on day 1 because the are only 2 types they use. Bummer. We had a bait & switch situation. When I called, the guy who answered the phone was super-friendly. He told me an additional fob & key for the make, model and fob-type of my car would be $250. I asked how much extra it would be to program & cut, and he said the programming was included. He said someone in the area could come within the hour. The technician called a couple minutes later and confirmed $250. Over an hour later, he called again to say he'd be another 40 minutes. When he arrived, he told my husband it was $500 -- because of the kind of fob. What? We'd already discussed the type of fob. So we couldn't agree on the price I'd already been quoted, and when we told him to forget it, he said it would be a $30 service call charge. We did not pay it. Guy showed up 45 minutes later and then proceeded to say to replace a car key and reprogram would be $400 dollars I told him that was ridiculous and would call someone else. He then proceeds to say he will do it for $200. The guy did such a shit job that when I press lock on the key fob the cars panic alarm goes off. And yesterday my car alarm went off like ten times on it's own so I had to run downstairs and turn it off. The short version - if you get locked out don't waste your time calling these guys. Couldn't open a cheap walmart handle lock (not even a dead bolt) and tried to upsell me. Longer version - Called this company based on the reviews here...but ended up disappointed and out $100. I locked my keys inside accidentally locking the $25 door lock. The locksmith showed up, literally spent 15 seconds on the lock and giving up asking if I wanted to pay extra for a more expensive method of getting in. He claimed he couldn't "go deeper" without damaging the lock. He genuinely acted surprised when I said no and that I'd get a uber across town to get my spare key. 1 - if you can't pick a cheap Walmart lock I'm thinking you shouldn't be making calls as a locksmith 2 - going deeper on a lock? Be careful on their prices! Called at 10PM for a auto lockout, they had the technician call me when he was on the way. Didn't get a time estimate or anything, partially my fault for not asking, but felt like this was a little unprofessional regardless. Ended up pulling up 45 minutes later in an unmarked van. He tells me it'll be $125 for the lockout and $20 for the after hours call. At this point I just wanted to go home and he was already here, so I said whatever. He fumbled with the slim jim and scratched the exterior paint on my car. A nice 3 inch long scratch, thanks. I decided to call the next day about the price cause it seemed off. The girl said they usually charge 55-85, and they don't charge extra for after hours calls. Say whaaaat?? I told her how much I paid the night before and she said she'd have her boss call me. He sent me a refund of $60 before he even called me to apologize. I appreciate the speediness of the refund and call, but he even said if I hadn't called, he wouldn't have even known that I was overcharged to begin with. And $60 is a big overcharge for a 45 min wait with no idea of when he'd actually show up, and he scratched the paint on my car with his tool. He also didn't ask to see any of my car's paperwork to verify the vehicle was actually mine, so that's another red flag. I called this locksmith bc of their reviews over another one that would have charged me only $60. I'm hoping maybe the technician I got was a bad apple, but I can't say I'd confidently use their services again. read more
