We were sat and our server told us it'd be a minute longer before she could get to us. We sat at the table closest to the open air kitchen. Server showed up after us waiting another 5 minutes. We ordered and the food came up quickly and everything looked and smelled amazing. The gyoza came out hot and very flavorful. The pho looked better than it tasted, it was bland though the vegetables and proteins were cooked good. The flavor was more like a broth, it lacked substance, umami and depth as I expected. The prices are a bit high, the environment was bright and loud, definitely not a place for that first date. But great place if you and your friends are wanting to sit and talk loudly to each other. It took a little while to show up but the food was still absolutely amazing nonetheless! I ordered a Large Plate with Luau Pig, Molokai Chicken, Rice and Mac Salad. I'm so glad it came with little sides of teriyaki sauce, which I love to put on my luau pig. If I had to nitpick, I would say I have definitely had better Hawaiian Mac salad in the past... but to be fair, it was made by a woman from Hawaii on her Hawaiian food truck, but this is a solid 9 out of 10 in my book. I am sad that they didn't have Spam Musubi on the DoorDash menu, it's one of my favorite things to get...so I ordered a side of mixed veggies instead. Yet that won't stop me from ordering here again.
