Immaculate vibes for a picnic date or a nice walk along the water ample parking and well kept grounds. It was easy to find, basically just drive to the end (however Google maps took us there w no issues!) On our way home I stopped into the ladies room and to my surprise it was clean and also well kept. Gorgeous park!

One of my favorites places - gorgeous, serene, and peaceful well-kept park that is dog-friendly!

I was very excited to take my dog to this beach, but unfortunately he was not really a fan. It is a $6 fee per car to enter the park and the dog beach is towards the very end of the park and about half a mile from the closest parking. The park also has hiking trails, a gated dog park, and place to BBQ

Always a nice vibe at Quiet Waters Park. There's a little to do for everyone...walking trails, bike trails, playgrounds, reflection ponds, fishing and even a dog beach where life really comes at you fast. If you come with a mission and a plan the $6 entry fee means very little to you. Ample bathrooms and trash cans. I'd bring the entire fam and a few picnic items and enjoy the weather. There are grocery stores and snack shops close by...even on a crowded day the park is so large that their is space for everyone.

Quiet waters is fantastic if you live in the area. There is no entry fee if you walk or bike in, which I enjoy for long runs and bike days. Its about 3 miles to get to the kayak ramp if you're walking from the entrance. Beautiful and small park, but perfect for a quick getaway from Annapolis hustle.

Drove up to this place not really knowing what to expect, and was surprised, there was an entry fee of 6 dollars. The friendly guy in the quiosk was awesome in explained the layout of walking trails and views of the water, so I decided to anti-up the $ and check it out. This was so nice and relaxing to walk the trails and finish at one of the pavillions overlooking the water. Loved the relaxing, easy paced stroll to the awesome view of the paddle boarders and sail boats!

This park is close to home, and it is really lovely. There are tons of meandering trails, some with views of the water. The visitors center is used for exhibits, lije art shows. The bandshell is the site of outdoir concerts in the summer. There us a pobd with fountains, and an ice rink in winter. They have a kayak rental concession. There is a daily fee of $6 per car. I purchased a lifetime senior pass, and have more than gotten my money's worth. Popular parts of the park include a dog beach and the South River Promenade, which has gazebos at both ends and great views of the river.

I love this beautiful place! My family and I came here for a walk after having lunch in Annapolis! Great flat walking trail that is more shaded than not! There was a lot of families there picnicking and barbecuing! It was awesome! We will definitely be back!

THIS IS A DOG PARK- not a beach I came here after an internet search led me here as a backup beach since Sandy Point was "full". Apparently this beach is just a dog beach. I can't tell you how silly we felt in bikinis with towels..

This park is a beautiful place to run. The paved running trails are very intuitive and it's one giant interconnected loop that makes you feel off the beaten path, but not too far that you get lost or feel like you are running for miles before you find the main road or where you parked your car. I don't have a dog, but ran by the dog park and it looks nice... there's a section where you can access the water via a little beach inlet and a dog rinsing station for afterwards. The garden/pavilion area is beautiful and really soothing with multiple water features and a garden. I sat there to stretch and cool down after a great 4.5 mile run around the loop. When I went on the weekend they were charging to get in, however it's free with military ID. Couldn't have been more than $5-6 otherwise. However on a Monday when I drove through there was nobody at the gate... free for all!

Hey Siri.. play VIEWS. The most beautiful park I've seen in a long time. The power of Google led me to this place on a beautiful Saturday morning. Entry fee of $6 is required but it's worth every penny. There is a little something for everyone in the family including your four legged babies. Very nice spot to have day dates, picnics, walks, and scenic for special occasion photo shoots. Can't wait to go back and experience the water sports and fishing aspect. Didn't feel crowded with people and it's enough space for everyone. Check out their website for free special events coming up in the fall.

I've written about events and services at Quiet Waters Park. See my past reviews. It's a good place just to go for a nice walk. In addition to the main entrance there are a number of trail entrances around the park that are lovely whether you live near by or drive in for a walk in the woods. Trails are well cared for but are rustic so you'll want to watch for poison ivy and poison oak. Part of my daily routine once or twice a day to go for a walk in the woods.

My little guy had a great day at Quiet Waters. It's a canine's paradise. A beach on the South River just for them, lots of butts to sniff without anyone saying, "Bad dog!", trails to roam and two dog park areas: one for large dogs, and one for small and/or elderly dogs... what's not to love about that? I am sure there is more to this place then this. They have gazebos for picnickers away from the dogs. It is easy to follow the signs to find the dog friendly area. This park is absolutely worth the $5 admission (per car, not person) and you can purchase a $30 yearly membership (FREE for military individuals, Vererans and their families). It is an official county park so the money is going towards its upkeep (somebody has to empty the poop can!). My little guy and I plan to come back often. He may not be a water dog, but he does love a good butt sniff every now and then. Direct info on the dog beach/park: http://www.aacounty.org/RecParks/parks/quietwaters/dogpark.cfm

I booked tickets to ice skate on a Friday night about two days in advance. You MUST now reserve your ticket to skate as well as the type of ice skate that you need. For an Adult, it was $10 to enter and $5 for beginner ice skates , total of $15 (no taxes). Reservation times are every 15 minutes and you should arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for COVID-19 social distancing practices. You must also wear a mask. By Friday we noticed that it was supposed to rain heavily during our scheduled time. I called the business number at 1030A and left a voicemail inquiring about skating in the rain and refund of tickets. I received a call back around 1230p that day (the business opens at 12p) and was told that the ice skating rink does Not close during raining periods because the ice is frozen. If the rain fall is too heavy for skaters to skate safely then they will stop, but that typically has not occurred. My friend and I decided to not skate due to the rain and I was offered a quick and easy refund. Over the phone, I received a text message confirmation that we cancelled our order and I would be refunded. I got the refund back in a few business days (and over a holiday). The business person was really nice and patient to answer my questions and provide a refund. Hopefully one day I will actually make it to skate at this ice skating rink!

It appears that the ice skates are cut small, (or perhaps our socks were too thick), either way, I recommend asking for a size up because a few of our skates didn't fit & had to be exchanged. Thankfully, the staff members were very helpful. We went on a Thurs night and it was a decent sized crowd but not overwhelming. Parking is free. I booked this kayak tour last-minute on impulse after a local guide recommended it. I completed the purchase with one click on my phone, barely able to read the tiny text and fine print. I simply wanted to do something patriotic and memorable. Although it was well outside my normal budget, I thought it would be worth it for the experience....especially with the promised pulled chicken sandwiches, fireworks, and scenic paddle. Unfortunately, about two hours after booking, I became violently ill after eating at Chipotle. I canceled the reservation before midnight on July 4th. Despite this, Mr. Hagais and his team showed zero sympathy for my situation. Their response was simply that "all sales are final" per the receipt. While I understand standard policies, this was a tourist-oriented kayak experience...not a high-stakes medical or legal service. I had not yet participated in any part of the event and was stuck in my room dealing with illness. I did not believe I should be charged full price for a trip I was physically unable to take. After several back-and-forth emails (in which I admit I was quite upset), they eventually offered a 50% refund...more than two full business days later...along with "credit" for a future ride. As someone who lives over five hours away and was only in the area by chance, that credit is useless. My back was also already bothering me from the trip, adding to the overall disappointment. The lack of basic empathy was shocking. In a reasonable society, a timely cancellation for a legitimate medical reason (especially during a known local outbreak of GI issues) should result in a full refund for unused services. Instead, I was met with rigid policy enforcement and what felt like dismissive treatment. Because of this experience, I cannot recommend this business to anyone with inflammatory bowel disease, chronic digestive conditions, or even temporary stomach issues caused by local outbreaks. Customer service should include basic compassion, especially when a customer is already suffering.
