My real estate agent referred me to Mortgage Enterprise for my pre-approval. At first I was…read moreskeptical as I never heard of the company before. But I trusted my friendly agent enough to go through the process. I called the mortgage specialist to schedule a sit down appointment, and was told I can scan and email all necessary documents to him and I don't need a face to face meeting if I don't want to. Being a techie and avid user of cloud storage, I was happy to save a trip, and scanned/ uploaded everything in the cloud and emailed the guy a link to download everything. Throughout the whole thing, I was more than aware of the downside of not showing up in person, and the risk of ID theft. At the end of the day, I received my pre-approval and all relevant numbers I needed to know to proceed with my home shopping, all within a course of a week. The staff was all responsive within 1-2 business days, and my questions were answered. You don't need to commit to them at all. If you want a mortgage from a well known, greedy Wall St bank, and not Mortgage Enterprise, you can still do that. If you're a prospective home buyer who needs financing advice or pre-approval, and is lazy like me who don't want to make a trip to an office, want to saving gas, and is tech savvy...then look no further than M.E.
