Millie truly needs to be investigated! Her nasty bed side manner, she walked in the room with such a negative attitude and spoke to me and my son as if we were stupid. Rushed us out the door to get X-rays at Samaritan, ensuring they were open. Which they were not. Had to wait at the ER for a few more hours to actually get help for my son who was in excruciating pain. Even my 7 year old complained to me how mean she was. Absolutely will not return and after reading so many similar reviews I hope no one else does either. read more

I Would Give Zero Stars if I Could I went to QuikMed for severe diarrhea, headache, fever, and stomach pain. The doctor I saw--Millie--did NOT take a single vital, run any tests, or ask any meaningful questions. She spent less than 30 seconds looking in my ears, mouth, and nose before randomly diagnosing me with a sinus infection (which I clearly didn't have) and sent me out the door with antibiotics. I KNEW that diagnosis didn't make sense, so I went to WellNow for a second opinion. They immediately told me it wasn't a sinus infection, stopped the unnecessary antibiotics, and actually took the time to run proper tests--like a stool sample sent to a lab. I cannot believe how careless this place was with my health. This wasn't just lazy--it was negligent. I strongly recommend you avoid this place if you actually care about getting real medical care. read more

I've had a serious acute ear infection and I'm new to the area so I'm on long waiting list to see a family doctor or a ENT doctor. So I've had to use walk-in clinics until I could see the regular doctors. Went to one that gave me an antibiotic and then I'm still having trouble with my ear with vertigo and complications from fluid in my ear. This was my first visit to quickened urgent care. The receptionist was very nice and helpful got in quickly and then the nurse took my vitals and the PA Carrie Guga was excellent. She asked me questions that no one else did, and came up with a solution for me to try presriptions for relief. Decongestants, allergy, yeast, etc. Will be trying them today. My fiancé pulled a muscle in his back the was causing him pain and making it impossible to sleep or func normally, because of his schedule Quick med seemed like the best option, we called ahead to get hours and on the message stated it the hours of op Mon-Friday were 9am-9pm and patient registration stopped at 830. We pulled in at 8:15 pm and went to be see and the doors were locked, I called to see if they were closed and they said they stopped seeing patients at 8, they were rude and unprofessional, I have never thought that a trip to the ER would be less pleasant experience then Urgent Care but the blatant attitude attitude we were shown this evening made Samaritan seem like a vacation. I brought my wife in with an extremely high temperature and more flu like symptoms. We waited for over an hour. Once we got into the room the first woman was very polite and nice. Then the Dr came in guessed her diagnosis. Ran zero tests. Was extremely rude. Prescribed her a basic antibiotic. And told us to leave. Then the nice nurse came in to make sure we were good. And helped us out. But the Doctor was one the most unprofessional people I've ever met. read more

Two nights ago I brought my two year old son to QuikMed Urgent Care. He had a really bad cough that got much worse that night and it sounded strange, like honking. His breathing was also much louder than usual. Multiple times he coughed for several minutes until he vomited. QuikMed was open until 9pm and my mother, my son and I were in the waiting room by 8:35. A woman came out and told us they're closing. I didn't know who she was at the time, but I later found out she was Milly Smith the owner and Chief Physicians Assistant of QuikMed. She was very short with us and refused to take even a quick look at the poor little guy. She told us to come back in the morning, but it was the night that we were worried about. We really just wanted to know if what he was going through was normal or was it an emergency. Why advertise your business as open until 9 if you refuse to see patients in the last half hour? All we were looking for was a little bit of kindness and guidance from a professional healthcare provider and we received neither. read more

Just wanted to give a shout out to QuikMed Urgent Care. My daughter was in need of a COVID test for a sporting event and as many things are time sensitive this was as well. Everyone I spoke to and dealt with was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable; from calling with questions, setting up the appointment, calling to check on results and the call back to me with results as well as a copy of the results sent to my e mail. As a healthcare professional I understand the strain and difference covid makes. However, it is very unprofessional when you have patients make an appointment for a COVID test and they sit in you waiting room for an hour. Only to be taken into the exam room and be waiting for another 30 minutes. The swabbing. This is NOT a reflection on the actual doctors or the medical care. The receptionist was very nice and professional. The PA was nice but definitely in a hurry. The delay is a direct reflection on the business management of the practice. read more

I went in for a rash they called me back to a room fast checked me in fast was nice but when seen a dr I felt rushed she took a guess at Wht I had was in their for less then a minute and took a guess and said it was a fungal infection and didn't really give me much information felt rlly rushed and she wasn't even in their for a minute or more pretty much dismissed me and was in and out of room in seconds would never go bck again don't recommend only had to go their bc my dermatologist couldn't get me in asap and have a apt next Tuesday I will bring the rash up to my dermatologist and ask him and stuff since he has a lot more experience wit this kinda stuff and would actually not dismiss it and would run test of the rash etc to see what it really is and not just take a guess at what it is read more

Doctor called "Milly" was VERYY rude. She didn't bother to ACTUALLY check me she was veryyyyy rude and told my my issues were "complicated". I will never go to this urgent care ever in my life. A front desk staff member incorrectly told me I was fully covered for a medical procedure and it ended up costing me ~$1000 because I was not covered for it. The office manager was apathetic on the phone about her employee's error and just simply asked for my credit card information for the payment. Called to make an appointment for a rapid Covid test for my son. I was told my insurance would cover it. After waiting 30 minutes after my appointment time was, I was called in just to be told they're not sure why I was told it was covered by my insurance and to pay $65. I was then talked to and treated extremely rude by a younger lady. We were sent back to the car to wait another 30 minutes which made it over a hour past the appointment time. This medical office is extremely unprofessional! I will definitely NEVER COME BACK. Take your money and time elsewhere. read more

Upon arriving with two hours before close on a Saturday, I was quickly greeted and checked in. As soon as I sat down, the nurse called me in and promptly took care of me. The room was spotless and it felt far more professional than the urgent care near Home Depot that sits in a trailer. Not to mention, I did not have to pay a $100 new patient fee. I was there for all of twenty minutes and was given my first dose of medicine on site since the pharmacies were all closed. Highly recommend this urgent care! read more

This building was nice, there was a huge waiting area, and the wait time was very low. The staff was friendly. However, I really wanted to see a doctor instead of a PA or NP (because my baby was being seen), but I couldn't find any urgent care in the area where there was an MD. I felt like I didn't really get anything conclusive out of this visit - no real diagnosis and no steps to take to make my baby better. The only time I really got advice was when I asked specifically if I could give the baby a medication, cream, etc. The discharge papers actually even said completely information than what the PA told us in terms of the diagnosis and follow-up. Not okay. While the facility is nice, I was really hoping for some helpful medical advice. Choose another location. read more

I'm from California where some of the best medical care and choice is widely available, My experiences in Watertown have been very difficult leaving me living in fear with my medical needs ...I am disabled and I also have Asthma , so far including the hospital in a serious Asthma attack I have been waiting in the waiting rooms for hours ...Asthma has a high death rate, we can die during an attack without getting help immediately and sadly sometimes immediate help fails too. I rate this Urgent care as high as one can be rated and hope anyone would give this urgent care more than one chance if for some reason they were not totally satisfied the first time around . Getting care almost immediately at quik Med makes me feel safer and assured there is some place my medical emergencies get the best care with a fantastic staff and NP or PA (not sure which ) in the area , the Hospital is right there almost across the street yet you will find me at quik Med in an urgent need or it's a weekend and the clinics are closed . . read more
