It was easy to see how the owner takes pride in his business. The manager greeted us and explained some of the online shipping options and discussed skateboards. Everything in this store is required for a day at the beach or street skating. Several skateboards with accessories, Walking shirts, halter tops, BC Surf & Sport hats, backpacks, Knockaround polarized sunglasses, shirts and hoodies bearing the famous Billabong logo. When showing me options he showed me the cheapest option first and explained how it was different than the other two, also affordable, options he had pulled out for me to look at. Met with the owner, Randy, who was super cool and conversed about the old days of surfing and skating halfpipes. Huge inventory of surfboards but I loved the skateboard section even better. Big brand boards stacked neatly against the wall including a display of accessories. Many display sections of board shorts, shirts, sandals and hats. They also sell the iconic Mr Zogs Sex Wax for the surfboards. No purchase today but if in need of surfing type products this is the store.

FRENCH BATHING SUITS $600 ?…read more This French bathing suit store in the Colonnade Outlets are manfactured from fabrics in Morocco, Monaco and Tunisia. As I entered the store I was blasted with vibrant colors of bathing suits against each wall. I met with the two employees, Anderson and Kevin. So I found a bathing suit that I liked and was going to try it on but almost fainted when Anderson revealed the price of $450.00. He then gave me a quick lesson why the bathing suits are priced between $207 and $600. Fabric quality was one reason. Ok, I just wanted a bathing suit to wear to the beach or to jump in my pool on a hot day. If I purchased the bathing suit I would have to model it in an attempt to reimburse the initial purchase price. The womens bathing suits were oddly cheaper than the men's suits at $230 and the women's bathing suit cover up dresses were $375. They offered a section of hats and beach sandals too. Anyways, this store was super high-end and was way out of my budget for a single bathing suit but I was entertained for ten minutes.
