Hi-Boy is a small burger spot with no seating inside and NO DRIVE THRU, which I find charming. It harkens back to the 50s when it was first opened and even has a neon sign that looks great at night. But the whole visit here was about the burger, and while they don't have bacon here, the burger was cooked to perfection. With just a bit of char around the edges for a crunch and a flavorful and juicy middle of the patty would've been enough to get a great review. But Hi-Boy also makes an AMAZING French fry that I couldn't get enough of. This spot is a very long drive from my house, but that's not going to stop me from visiting again and again. This past Saturday i did stop in and order a tenderloin, since i am in the middle of "Ralphie's Tenderloin Tour" with 12 tenderloins under my belt (figuratively and literally) in the past month. Unfortunately their breaded pork tenderloin is mass produced and frozen, so it did not make it close to the top tier in my rankings, but for what it is ...it ain't bad. I did like that they put plenty of veggie toppings and their burger sauce on it for maximum taste.
