In these parts, they have a specific item that we don't get in Texas. It is only available in West Texas all the way into the Southwest part of the United States where Whataburgers are located. It makes a brief appearance randomly where I live, but it's years apart when it does. After a night out, my friends and I called it a night early and decided to get food to take back to our respective hotels in Scottsdale. This was the closest location to me. It was around 10pm and the place was pretty empty including the drive thru. The staff here was super friendly, but service was extremely slow. I have never waited that long for food when ordering inside. That being said, my burger was exactly how I remembered it. The green chiles were a little bit on the mild and bland side, but the essence of the chile was there. They did not offer or give any condiments which was a bummer. I'm just used to being asked or just given it back home. My traveling companion got food next door but we both also got desserts here which were just fine. Whataburger still reigns supreme when it comes to fast food, but I will probably stay clear of this location next time I am in Scottsdale.
